Today we're gonna take a quick look at the Master Lock Contractor Grade Double Hinge Hasp. Now this is going to be a great locking system for anytime where you need to lock down a door or a cabinet or go around an angle or an uneven application. It's gonna be able to reach around corners and pretty much provide you with that locking function no matter what kind of surface you're mounting this to.Since we have that double hinge in the middle, that's what gives us the flexibility to get our lock in place even if it's a little uneven and bumpy. This is going to have nice rolled edges. It's gonna make it difficult to pry up. It's gonna conceal the mounting screws.

So if I lift this up here, we'll have this tab. That's where your mounting screws will be located. They hide underneath that phlange at the back, so we don't have to worry about anybody being able to get in there and undo our screws and same thing for the pintle here, the sort of U shape of it.Our lock is going to come over the top of that so none of our hardware can be accessed without taking off the padlock from our system. Now the padlock is sold separately, so you do have to pick that up on your own. You can find a lot of options here at etrailer.com if you need to pick one up.

But with this kit, you will get everything you see here laid out on the table. We'll have our hasp and the shackle. We'll also have our self tapping screws, we'll get eight in total. And then we'll also have two longer screws or bolts with some hardware. We'll have a washer and a nut to get those installed.

If you need a little bit of extra length for mounting that down.All of the hardware is going to have a nice conical cap or counter sunk design so it fits flat against the phlange and that'll help us get that in place. Now this is going to be made of a hardened, boroned alloy which can withstand eight tons of cutting force. So very durable, heavy gauge, steel body. It's gonna be also strong and durable so you don't have to worry about anybody being able to get in here. It's pretty much impossible to remove this without the lock in place.The hasp is 7 and 3/4 inches long and it is about 1 and 3/4 inches wide.

This is going to accept a shackle with a diameter of no greater than 7/16 and this does come with a limited lifetime warranty from Master Lock.And that's gonna do it for our look at the Master Lock Contractor Grade Double Hinge Hasp.
