Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a look at this over the seal T-strap hinge for enclosed trailers. Now, this hinge is going to let your door swing open 180 degrees. As you can see, it's a very smooth operation and the hinge itself feels very solid so it's going to give you many years of great service. This over the seal hinge is designed to bridge your doors molding or seal and the gap in the hinge strap provides about a 3 3/8 of an inch clearance.
This is made here in the USA of stainless steel construction so it's strong and durable while also being rustproof and corrosion resistant. The polished finish gives it a sleek look. And the wide bracket with the three mounting holes provide added stability. The seam-welded bracket and leaf offer extra strength and support. I do wanna point out that mounting hardware is not included with this.
So, if you do not already have the compatible hardware necessary, that would be a separate purchase for you. While we're talking about the bracket, let me give you some overall measurements so you can be sure that this is going to work for you. Actually, I'm going to flip this around here. It might be a little bit easier for me to line my ruler up. So, looking at the overall height of just the bracket itself, it looks like we're sitting right at about 4 1/2 inches tall.
And then the overall width, trying to take into account the width of the bracket here, looks like we're sitting right at about three inches wide. And then the distance of the mounting hole, center to center, and I'm gonna begin vertically first so let me see if I can line this up for you. Looks like we are sitting right at about 3 1/4 inches, center to center. And then measuring from these two holes to the hole out here on the end, it looks like we're sitting right at about two, and I think 2 1/8 inches, it looks like. Now, the nonremovable half-inch in diameter pin is going to ensure maximum security to keep your cargo safe while also preventing road vibration from knocking it out of place.
And it's gonna help prevent tampering and removal of your trailer door. The strap is going to prevent your door from sagging and dragging. And taking a look at some of the dimensions of this strap itself, let's begin by looking at the overall length. So, lining up my tape measure here, looks like we're sitting right at about 16 inches long. And then the overall width, we're sitting right at two inches wide. And the mounting hole diameter is 5/16 of an inch. And then the distance between those mounting holes, center to center, again, let me get my ruler lined up here for you. Looks like we're sitting pretty close to 5 5/8 inches, center to center, on those mounting holes. And then the overall length of this hinge from end to end, looks like we're sitting right at 19 inches long. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
