Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this 16 inch long Over the Seal Stainless Steel Strap Hinge. Now this is an Over the Seal hinge, which is designed to bridge your door molding or your door seal. So just to show you when this is installed, you can see that it has this raised portion right here, and that's designed to go over the molding or the door seal. This is a 304 stainless steel construction.

It is embossed for greater strength, and it does use a non-removable half inch diameter stainless steel pin for maximum security. It is a narrow bracket for mounting more space as limited. The width on this bracket is only about two inches wide. Now the strap length we mentioned is 16 inches, and that measurement is from the center of the pin to the end of the bracket. So just to show you, if we go center of the pin right to the end of the bracket, there's your 16 inch length.

Now the mounting holes, there's three of them right here on the strap. Three of them right here on the mounting bracket. They're all five 16ths standard mounting holes. Now the holes on the strap are five and five eights inches apart. In other words, center to center, five and five eights.
