Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at 1-1/2 inch wide continuous hinge that's 6 foot long and it's made out of heavy duty gauge steel. So folks, like I said, it's a 16 gauge steel construction, super durable, long lasting. Now what this is gonna be used for, it's gonna provide you a sturdy, again, continuous support along the full length of your maybe cabinet door, panel, that kind of thing. And it's got a nice continuous design that'll offer more support than your smaller individual hinges that are out there. And it's also gonna reduce stress on the heavier doors.
Now zooming in here, you can see it has a very nice 270 degrees rotation, so we can open or close it fully up to 270 degrees. It is weld on or bolt on. Now if you're welding it on, obviously you just gotta clean it up a little bit, clean up the surface you're welding to, then you're good to go. If you wanna bolt on, however, you do need to drill holes through the steel and multiple locations and then go ahead and maybe some self tappers or something would shoot right through them onto the surface that you're mounting it on. Now you can cut this to length if you so choose.
It's made here in the USA. As far as dimensions, again, it is 72-1/2 inches long and it is one and 1-1/2 inches wide. Lemme see if I can get my ruler in here. So 1-1/2 wide. Now each side of this foldable hinge is 3/4 of an inch.
There's the other side and these individual knuckles here that you see, those guys are 5/8 of an inch long. Now this pin diameter itself is actually 3/32. Kinda hard to see that one there in the video, but 3/32 on that individual pin. Well folks, like I said, this is our 1-1/2 inch wide continuous 6 foot long steel hinge. Very nice construction, heavy duty steel.
