Note: Quick Fist clamps are not to be used on exhaust pipes or any pipe that consistently exceeds a temperature of 180 F (82 C).
A new Quick Fist clamp fresh out of the mold can be stiff. Use two hands to open the jaws vertically and then pull each jaw once or twice. Close the jaws and open and close the strap a couple of times. It's now ready for mounting.
For applications where the Quick Fist clamp will be used at or near its maximum opening dimension, the clamp will not work in your hand, as it must be bolted to a fixed surface for the rubber to stretch properly.
Mount your shovels, axes, D-cell flashlights, and high lift jacks with the Quick Fist original clamp.
1. Use #10 bolt or screw to fasten. Do not over-tighten.
2. Mount with the strap facing in any direction.
3. To clamp: put the tool or implement into the jaws. With both of your thumbs on the strap, push strap to reach the desired tightness. Repeat as necessary.
4. For certain applications, like roof racks with round tubing, you can install the Quick Fist clamps using hose clamps. Make sure you center the hose clamp on the plastic washer to avoid cutting into the rubber clamp.
5. For smaller diameter objects, push jaw without strap inside the other jaw and tighten strap on top of jaw.
You may also install your high lift jack using three Quick Fist clamps spaced evenly along the steel bar of the jack.
1. Drill out a hole in the Quick Fist clamp with a 7/16" (12 mm) bit. Use a 2-1/2" (65 mm) long, 3/8" (10 mm) bolt to attach the clamp.
2. To mount the jack, hold it parallel to the three clamps. Put one end of the jack into a Quick Fist clamp, with the bolt through the steel bar, and then loosely lock the clamp. Next, place the steel bar into the other two clamps and lock. After all three clamps are holding the jack, tighten as necessary.

They hold really tight, should be a great addition to our kit. Also, MADE IN THE USA was a pleasant surprise!! Thanks for a great American made product!!
Although the quick clamps are heavier than I needed they will work just fine. I am mounting them on the door post behind the drivers seat in my truck to hold a night stick “ Billy club”! I’ve had the club in my possession for over 50 years. Last time I wore it I was on duty in some Mediterranean Sea port.
Great product, would buy again.
I installed these clamps to hang an axe in my converted utility trailer and they are perfect. Work as expected. Only reason I didn’t give then 5 stars is because they didn’t come with bolts or screws.
Perfect solution for what I needed. Couldn't find anything close to this anywhere else online including Amazon. Using this to hold my folding dock ladder in place when it is out of the water. Good Quality. Thick, Flexible and strong.
The clamps have been mounted on my roof rack for over a a year exposed to the elements while holding a shovel. They still look new!
After searching the web for weeks, I was ecstatic to find these hooks! I'm sure I'm not using them for the purpose intended, but they look great holding my axe on the wall. My only gripe is that there is only one way to secure it to the wall. I'm sure at dead center is the optimal spot for mounting, but perhaps consider adding so diagonal screw holes on either side, that's where I ended up putting my screws in. Other than that the product easily exceeded expectations!
I made a rack for the ATV to hold my axe and shovel, the clamps seem to work pretty good so far. They are kinda hard to open and close in cold weather, (below 25 F.)
They claim to be good for 1" diameter, but they don't clamp as well as I would like, so I am going to get a bigger diameter handle to get a better grip. Overall I like them so far.
These are excellent for shovels, flashlights etc. I hav
Great price! Exactly as advertised! Fast Shipping. etrailer is one of my favorite go to vendors. I highly recommend them and their service is impeccable.
These are nice but it would be better if they included the #10 bolt and nut the instructions reference.
Quick fist clamps are the best clamps I’ve ever purchased. My husband has them in the bed of his pickup holding something up, it has never loosened or fallen once. I highly recommend these!
Fit my truck perfectly. Note in the photos how it stands off from the truck bed. About a 1/2” clearance from truck body. Solid grip on shovel no movement at all. Note : I submitted another survey on this product also.
Exactly what I was looking for to hold a spade in place on my Polaris Ranger
I have these mounted to the roof of my enclosed trailer to hold my shovels. They work perfectly. Will be ordering more to hold other items as well.
Excellent product. Does what is claims.
The one bolt mounting is a little flimsy for very heavy items so you have to make the call yourself on safety.
There is no locking capability thus your fastened item can be removed quickly by anyone. Adds about 1" of clearance so check your location carefully.
Perfect application!
These things work great. I keep a shovel on here for quick jobs on the trail. After a year of pulling the shovel on and off, these things are still holding up. Highly reccomended.
Used one of these to mount a shovel on the rack on my Jeep Gladiator. It is very secure, yet easy to access, after a year in the elements it seems unchanged from exposure to the elements. Excellent product.
Product is great but won’t fit a 2 inch diameter flashlight
I received the Quickfist Original clamps yesterday. They installed easily. I am using them to hold photography c stands in an enclosed trailer and so far they are holding strong. I will undoubtedly be ordering more of these!
Have used these for many off road projects from flashlights to shovels and high lift jacks. Quick fist fits a niche market perfectly. As always with e-trailer, purchase is easy and delivery is fast.
Just installed today so haven’t got to test them out. Seem like they will work perfectly for me. Not a fan of the way they mount I’m afraid they are going to rip. But we will see
Used these Quick Fists to mount same hand tools to the ROPS on my tractor. Works great
The clamps work great-easy to mount and use. If I had to voice a con, I would say the black plastic pieces that the mounting bolt will go through could be made of stainless steel. Stronger and anti-rust. The plastic ones work fine though, so far.
