If your vehicle is stuck in off-road terrain and has lost the traction it needs to escape, this recovery strap will help pull it free. The strap is designed to stretch and recoil. This means that when it is put under tension, the strap stretches until snapping back to its resting length, "slingshotting" the vehicle out of its jam.
This recovery strap has a reinforced loop at either end for securing to the tow vehicle and the recovery vehicle. Once the strap is attached, slowly move the recovery vehicle away from the stuck vehicle. This will initiate the stretch and recoil action and pull the stuck vehicle free.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson Recovery Strap. This is the six inch model, thirty feet in length, part number EM59806. The nylon reinforced ends are going to prevent wear on our pull area here from any kind of abrasions or damage. It's going to give us a real nice long lasting strap also very easy connection to whatever we need to tow. The six inch wide webbing is a two-ply, that's going to give us about a ten percent stretch when pulling on it to give us that sling shot or bounce back effect to really help us recover those vehicles that are stuck. The strap's going to offer a maximum break strength of seventy-five thousand pounds and a maximum vehicle weight limit of thirty-seven thousand five hundred pounds. As you can see our nylon reinforcements are stitched into place with a nice heavy stitching so it keep them where we need it and not sliding up and down our strap. All right, we're out here in our recovery vehicle.
We're going to hook up our strap. You can see we've got a nice secure hold there and our Ram we've got it stuck, we've got it hooked up using one of our tow strap loops. A stout tow strap. I bought it so i would stop breaking tow straps with trucks. Like all the other ones i had, id always up ripping them. Thats why i went with this beast. Have not broke this one at all and ive yanked out some stuck trucks in mud and snow. awesome strap for a good price!
We are using the Erickson products now and they continue to perform as expected. The product arrived faster than expected and in excellent condition. The shipping container was top notch. Will continue to buy from etrailer.
