Hello, neighbors. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Erickson Kinetic Recovery Rope. It's one and a quarter inch thick by 30 feet long, and it's rated for 22,100 pounds. Now folks, it does come with a nice mesh carrying bag. I'll let you see that up front here, and you can put this back in this mesh bag.
And the fact that it's mesh is gonna make it breathable. So if you get this wet, that kind of stuff, number one, I recommend you dry it out if at all possible. But as we all know, if you're out on the trail and you get stuck, you get unstuck, you're tossing everything back in as quick as you can so you can keep going. So when you get back to your campsite or wherever, maybe wash it off, rinse it off, let it dry out in the sun. Then re-wrap it up like you see here, put it back in the bag.
But if you can't do that, again, you can put it back in the bag and it's breathable. Now this is gonna be perfect for getting out recovering stuck vehicles and stuff using kinetic energy that's built up in the rope when you're pulling it, and it's gonna be great on half ton, three quarter one ton trucks. Anything with the gross vehicle weight of up to 22,100 pounds. Now the fact that these kinetic ropes do stretch and give you that little built-in stretch, that's gonna prevent shocking, jarring, which is common when you're using something like a strap, or a tow train or something like that. Now as you can see, they got these big, beefy looped ins here.
And they have a nylon sheeting over them here, this protective wrap. And they are super, super well stitched together here, and then wrapped again with some kind of thicker rope, if you will. And that's gonna be really nice for keeping this in together. You've got a nice loop here that's made with hook and loop attachments. That way, you can wrap it back up when you're done and keep it all in one nice, tight package for storage.
Again, you got that kinetic energy, one and a quarter inch and by 30 feet long. Now the whole thing is nylon coated. That's gonna increase the abrasion resistance. And again, these connection loops are super sturdy. And I wanna tell you that they recommend you use D-rings that are attached to a vehicle, and then maybe like a bow shackle, which would be sold separately, obviously. And that shackle would come in here and give you a tight connection point, versus just a hook, that number one, you probably don't have a hook this big, but if you do, you don't want this slipping out and coming back at you. So I recommend you get those bow shackles and those kind of things. Now this has a stretch rate of 28%, and a maximum break strength of 44,200 pounds. But again, it's only rated for 22,100 pounds, so please do not go over that. Comes with a 90 day warranty from the manufacturer. This is the Ericsson Kinetic Recovery Rope. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching, and have a great day.
