Removable LED lights provide signal lights for your towed car without you having to tap into the car's wiring or run wires under the car. Antenna plugs into your RV's 4-way or 7-way connector and sends a signal to the magnetic lights.

Note: The 4-way flat plug on the included connector will only work with a car-end 4-way plug that hangs from your vehicle. If your 4-flat is mounted to the rear of your vehicle with a bracket, you will need to use an adapter loop (sold separately).
These wireless, removable tow lights make it easy to add running lights, brake lights, and turn signals to your towed car or trailer. With this setup, you won't need to tap into existing wiring for installation. With other magnetic tow lights, you have to run cords from the lights to the front of the towed car or trailer - and then run an additional cord to connect to your tow vehicle - every time you need to tow. These tow lights work wirelessly to eliminate that hassle. And the wireless design also allows you to move the lights from one vehicle or trailer to another in minutes.
The lights attach directly to almost any metal surface with the built-in heavy-duty, foil-covered magnets, which won't damage your vehicle's paint. And the handy on/off switch lets you use the lights only when you need them, saving battery power.
Setup is simple. The included trailer connector has a 7-way plug on one end and a 4-way plug on the other end for versatile use. Plug the connector into the 4-way flat or the 7-way, RV-style port on your RV or tow vehicle. A built-in, detachable antenna on the connector bends and rotates so you can adjust it to get the optimal signal. Turn the switch on each light to "on," and attach the tow lights to the back of your towed car or trailer, as far apart as is practical. There are no wires connecting the lights to each other, so you don't have to worry about securing any excess wiring.
Each light detaches from its base so you can easily access the battery compartment. Six AAA batteries (not included) power each light.

We thought there would be more steel on the rear of the 2021 Jeep Wrangler that we could attach the magnetic lights to. I'm planning to build a 2 inch receiver mounted bracket that will allow placement and attachment of the lights.
We purchased the wireless Pilot Magnetic Tow Lights as a temporary solution while waiting for the Trailermate wiring that will use the cars taillights. For the price, I expected a better light.
Haven't yet got the dozen AA batteries the lights need, but they appear to be very well made, big and bright. The transmitter needs a better way to mount it, but a bungee cord served.
So far these wireless trailer lights have performed perfectly. No issues and I couldn't be happier. Set up was easy.
Works great on a 36’ trailer that was towed from NC - OH. The lights was used on an old Spartan house trailer that is going to be restored.
When I ordered the item it said it would arrive a specific time. Which is why I ordered it prior to our trip. But it arrived 2 days after we left on our trip. I have not been home yet to see if they will even work.
I was told my lights were not in yet so I decided to split my order after waiting a few days. The lights ended up coming at the same time as the rest of the product. The package is open, taped. I have not tested them yet. I don’t feel as though I should get an open package.
The only significant steel was the rear tow hooks on the back of the Gladiator. The plastic buttons on the back had to be removed to let the magnets get a hold. Tie down straps had to used to safely secure the lights. Otherwise, works nicely without having to splice into the vehicle wiring
Pleasure doing business. Item as described. Exactly what I was looking for.
Novel idea, and I had high hopes. But I have some things to point out that aren't great. The wireless can be spotty, so be sure to test and can reset it by un/replugging the 7 pin transmitter. The magnets are not that strong, so I had to zip tie them to the back of the trailer I was using.
Purchase the Pilot magnetic tow lights with wireless controller. worked very well. I was worried about whether the magnetic would hold up under wind when traveling since I could not find any information on wind test. I put a zip tie on each of the lights so I would not lose them in case they didn't stay on. But they did over 800 miles. I still plan on using zip ties just to be sure. Overall, I would give the lights a thumbs up.
Arrived in good condition and appears to be excellent quality
Works perfect, will add a more secure clamp to hold lights
Customers service, advice and delivery have always when great from these folks,!
After buying many, many sets of the wired tow lights for my portable sign business and having to constantly untangle and repair the wires, I decided to spend the extra $ and get something good. These lights work great, just remember to turn off the switches on the lights after use as they run on batteries. I would have paid extra for a case as they are very nice lights and I want to keep them in something safe after use. Great product highly recommend.
Thanks for the follow up and information Judy. I see one of our customer service representatives has been in contact with you and with the manufacturer about the warranty of these lights. If you have any further questions please feel free to let us know.
--They quit working after about the third time I used them tried everything. Still don’t work
I tow a Denali behind my coach and use an Airforce One braking system which requires me to disconnect the Denali battery while towing. Therefore I needed lights for the back of the Denali. I made mounts which insert into the rear pockets in the pickup bed. Tail lights and break lights work well, however the left turn signal blinks only once when needed. The right turn signal works good.
Used these on our tow jeep. We did use long zip ties to secure them to the bumper and they worked great. Good value for the price!
Make's this a very simple task!
The Pilot magnetic tow lights - wireless arrived with expedited shipping as expected . The plugged the lights into my RV to test them. They worked flawlessly. I did attach them to my Jeep Wrangler and was very concerned with the magnet holding them to the metal of the Jeep. The slightest bump in the road would knock them off the body. The magnet is not very strong. Since I have taillight guards on my Jeep. I had to secure them to the body with two large zip ties. Also one of the plastic latches that hold the light assembly to the light bracket fell off for some reason. If the holding magnet was a lot stronger, I would rate these lights higher. The convenience and price are great.
Very easy to install. Shipment was super fast.
The wireless tow lights are great & easy to use & the magnets are stronger than the wind at 70mph but you need a metal surface to mount them & with so much plastic on vehicles it is sometimes hard to find a place to mount them, another concern is security of the lights, there isn't an easy way to lock them down from someone removing them from the towed vehicle.
We are very happy with the product. It was just what they said it was and worked just the way they said it would work. Being seniors a little better instructions would have helped. etrailer delivered when they said they would and sent E-mails letting us know that they received our order and let us when it was shipped.
These lights work good as tail and brake lights but have a problem with blinking on and off. They may blink with the turn 5 times in a row and then ignore the next 20 pulses. Or they ignore all turn signal pulses. They don't work as emergency lights very well at all. They pick up about one of every 10 on/off pulses with the left working a little better than the right. The package states they will recieve at over 100 feet but they only work up to 30 feet. I tried changing the batteries, using a different tow vehicle, and moving the transmitter with no improvement.
