Video Transcript for Custer Tow Bar Wiring - Bypasses Vehicle Wiring - C-ATL20A Review

Today, we're going to review part number C-ATL20A. These are the Custer Magnetic Towing Light Kits with the 20-foot cord. This is a nice convenient solution for all your towing and trailer needs. This is designed for towing applications for RVs and boats and even on farm equipment. It's a very easy hook-up and removal with the non-scratch magnetic base. They do have a label on here that tells you just leave the label on so when you put it on, it keeps it from scratching your surface.

Does include this 20-foot cord with the 4-way trailer end. The wire right here between the lights so you can extend the lights out is 60 inches long. Now it also comes with the vehicle end 4-way trailer connector. It's a 36-inch lead. Has the wires on the end here, and it comes with the 4 wire taps to connect the wires to your tow vehicle, so then you can use this from the tow vehicle to plug right into your wiring harness to operate the lights on whatever you're towing or moving. That should do it for the review on part number C-ATL20A.

These are the Custer Magnetic Towing Light Kits with the 20-foot cord.

product receives on date estimated. works like a charm. service was excellent, wil certainly purchase again. was disappointed on one product which you did not have and should, namely a splitter. male end with two (2) female ends. very common item, used as follows. male end connects to female end from towing vehicle, other two ends ,one to iow lites, other to tow dolly lites. some states require both, better to be on the side of caution, than being stopped ans have no answer. in all my years as a prof. eng. cover all bases, t5his little item is about 12" long. had to make my own t 661039

Just used the lights towing a jeep from southern California to Oregon and they worked fine. The total wire length was just a little short on a small jeep up to the rear of a pick up. Possibly 1-2 feet more would be more versatile for more applications. 374648

There isn't enough wire to go from the back roof of my suv through the interior of the car, to under the hood and then out to the plug on my motor home, on the opposite side of where it leaves the lights. I'll fix it, but not enough wire was provided to splice it in. The reason for the interior routing was to prevent wire whip marks in my paint as I drive. 307641

This was my first order and experience with E-trailer. I would like to say every aspect of my purchase from start to finish was excellent! Order my product late one evening and it was shipped out that day at 8pm??? What company does that? Product was affordable and worked perfect. Great company and I would highly recommend. 23605

Works great! I used it on my car's bike rack and it greatly improves my visibility to other motorists. The magnets that hold it in place are very strong so I'm not worried about them falling off if I hit a bump. E-trailer delivered them the day after I ordered them. Great service as always with E-trailer! 22197

I wish that the wire that connects the 2 lights together was a little bit longer (six inches) I tryed to put them on the outside of my 2006 jeep rangler and it diden't quite make it. so i'll have to figure out another way to make it work. 15939

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2016 Ford Fiesta SE Behind an RV
  • I will be happy to recommend the parts you will need to flat tow your 2016 Ford Fiesta behind your RV. The first item needed will be base plates. The base plates are what will mount to the Fiesta. They provide a safe attachment point for the tow bar. For these I recommend # RM-524438-4. The tow bar is what connects the RV to the Fiesta. There are a lot of options but not to worry because I will recommend one that will work best with your Fiesta. Non-binding tow bars are the way to go...

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2017 Ford F-150 Behind an RV
  • You can use your Even Brake # RM-9400 with your 2017 Ford F-150. The brake light relay # RM-88400 will be needed if you are using anything other than magnetic tow lights such as # C-ATL20A. For base plates for the F-150 you can use # RM-524431-4. I do not know if you already have a tow bar but if not I recommend a non-binding tow bar such as the Falcon All Terrain # RM-522 rated for 6,000 pounds or the BlackHawk # RM-422 rated for 10,000 pounds. Non-binding tow bars like these mean that...

If your 2018 Ford Fusion is the Energi Hybrid or regular Hybrid you can use base plates # BX2672. The kit works on both styles with or without adaptive cruise control. To fit the base plate...
