Video Transcript for Powerbuilt Tools - Vehicle Tools - ALL648591 Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at part number ALL648591, this is the Power Built Brake Leader Master Kit. This kit can be used for bleeding all types of automotive hydraulic cylinders by one person. It's going to come with a plastic bottle. This is going to hold the fluid when you're bleeding. It's also going to have that magnetic clamp on there. You're going to get all the different fittings here.

Now, depending on your application, you'll need to refer to the instructions on the back of the packaging to know when to use each fitting. The tapered fittings are designed to fit both bleed screws and master cylinder fittings, and then you're going to get the 3 pieces of vinyl hose. The bottle's going to have that magnet attached to it, so that way you can easily find a place to secure it when you're ready to bleed a line. The other end of the clear tube is going to attach to the brake bleeder screw, and then again you may or may not have to use the fittings. Once you have that connected, as you depress the brake pedal a few times, it's actually going to pump the fluid up to the bottle. Now you can also use this to bleed the master cylinder by using the different fittings, the F style fitting and the shorter hoses.

Again, you'll need to refer to the instructions. They're very detailed, they're going to tell you exactly when and where to use each fitting in each hose, depending on your application. That's going to do it for our review of part number ALL648591. This is the Power Built Brake Bleeder Master Kit. .

Too small to handle a task of this nature, should be at least 16 Oz. 426347

This product worked very well. I was able to bleed the new brakes I installed on my boat trailer by myself. I just pushed the surge brake in with my hand until no bubbles came out and then closed the bleeder. The only reason I gave it 4 star is because the plastic line could better if it was longer and the plastic line almost didn't fit over my kodiak bleeder valve. 269226

  • How to Bleed Disc Brakes When Installing DA20 Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator
  • Attached is a clip from the instructions on how to bleed the brakes after installing the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM8204311 that you referenced. You can use the Powerbuilt Brake Bleeder # ALL648591 to assist you in this process.

  • How to Bleed the Brakes on a 1988 Correct Craft Trailer
  • Yes, if the bolt holes on your trailer measure 3" apart on center then the Titan Leverlock Brake Actuator part # T43329007K should work for you without having to drill any new holes. The bleeding process for the brakes is not hard but it will take a bit of time. The Powerbuilt Brake Bleeder part # ALL648591 is not required but will make life easier. I have attached the instructions for you below in addition to a video. Remove the master cylinder cap and fill the reservoir to three quarters...

  • When Replacing Trailer Brake Lines Is Bleeding the System Required to Get Fluid to Assemblies
  • You will need to bleed the brake system to get all of the air out of the lines after replacing the brake lines. Filling up the master cylinder will get some fluid into the lines but not a whole lot. You will need to keep bleeding them till there are no air bubbles that come of the wheel cylinders. If you have a power bleeder you would not need to actuate the actuator to build pressure as the power bleeder will do that for you. To make bleeding the brakes easier and quicker we have...

  • Installing and Bleeding New Hydraulic Brakes Lines on Trailer With Titan Actuator
  • I can help you install new hydraulic brake lines on the trailer. The Titan Zinc-Plated Actuator part # T4750620 is a surge brake actuator so you need hydraulic brake lines. The kit you need depends on how long the trailer is that you are installing the lines in and how many axles the trailer has. The Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit part # 24TA-BLKIT is for a 24 foot tandem axle trailer. To install the lines you want to drill a hole near where the Titan Coupler installs so that you can...

  • Trailer Disc Brakes not Releasing on Trailer with Titan Model 6 Actuator
  • I do not think it is the lockout solenoid causing the problem on your model 6 actuator but if it is closing for some reason when braking and moving forward (and then not opening again) that would explain why the brakes won't release. It should have 1 power wire and 1 ground wire. If the ground wire is missing then that could also explain it because it could be a case of the solenoid working intermittently because of that ground. Here is a test you can do with the actuator: With the trailer...

  • Bleeding Instructions for the Demco Hydraulic Disc Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout
  • Attached is a portion of the instructions for the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM8759422 that gives the details on how to bleed the brakes of your trailer. You will need to use a brake bleeder like part # ALL648591 to perform this. The "primed" part of the title means that it has a primed finish so there won't be any fluid in the reservoir.
