Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to taking a look at this 14.4 volt cordless grease gun. Now this grease gun will come in this nice, hard plastic carrying case. And we're going to open it up and show what's contained in there. We'll go ahead and zoom in, lift up the, and you'll have a nice owner's manual.
Does come with the grease gun itself and attached to it is a nice 30" long hose. Also have the battery pack right here, and it's a 14.4 volt battery pack. And then also the battery charger. It's all included. And as you notice the storage cases all formed to fit the pieces.
It's a nice way to store it.Now, the gun itself. What's nice about this, this'll eliminate those long, messy days of having to lubricate your moving parts with that manual grease gun. Now you just have to push the button and it'll push the grease into your bearings or whatever you're lubricating. This cordless grease gun uses a rechargeable nickel cadmium battery to power the grease gun. Eliminates that manual pump-type gun.
All you have to do is line it up. There's one way it goes in just like that. And then just go ahead and push it closed. And once it snaps into place you're all ready to go. And it's not really that heavy.
It's pretty lightweight. You got your button right here. That'll just control it. Does have the hose on it. It's a 30" long reinforced grease hose. Has a heavy duty coupler on it. It makes reaching those hard to reach fittings very easy. And you can just load this grease gun with either the standard 14 ounce cartridge, or you could actually put bulk grease in there. It'll use either. It will dispense about 56 ounces of grease on a single charge. The charge time on this battery when you put it on the charger is about one to two hours. This size uses a planetary cast-iron gear box and a reciprocating piston. Provides 7,000 PSI and approximately three ounces of grease per minute. The battery we mentioned is a 14.4 volt 1500 milliamp hour nickel cadmium battery. The charger output, if you go to charge it, you just push it on the two sides, snaps in pretty good, that'll release it. And just like that you can pull it off. And with it off, you can just flip it up over, put it in there, plug this in an outlet and it'll charge it. Mentions about one to two hours.Charger output is 9.6 volts to 24 volts DC, 1.5 amp maximum. And again, when you're not using, it does give you a nice owner's manual that'll describe everything we talked about how to use it, how to fill it. And then when you're done, all you have to do is put it back in your storage case. Basically just lay your gun in there. The hose clips in around the outer portion just like that. Your battery will sit right up in there and then your charger goes right back here. We'll go and put our owner's manual in there. Clip it closed and you're all ready to go, simple as that. But that should do it for the review on the 14.4 volt cordless grease gun..
