Today we're taking a look at the Hopkins reflective multi purpose trailer level, part number HN09915. This reflective level is designed for easier reading which allows you to see if your trailer is level from a distance. This multiple purpose level uses two highly reflective red markings to indicate when the trailer is not level. As you can see if the trailer we're not level, the bubble would turn red. The kit comes with two levels so you can do your front to back and side to side. The dimensions are 2 and 1/4 inches wide by a 1/2 inch tall. Now that we've gone over some features of the level, I'll go ahead and show you how to get it installed.
The first thing we need to do is to make sure that our trailer is level front to back and side to side. Here on the side of our trailer, we'll need to find a fixed point. We're going to go off the top of our trim right here with our carpenter's level. As you can see we're slightly out of level front to back and we're going to have a buddy go up front and lower our trailer. Yeah, that's good. With the front and back taken care of, we're going to go ahead and level out our side to side.
We're come up here to the A-frame of our trailer. Now with the level on our A-frame you can see that our side to side is slightly out of level so we'll go ahead and have a buddy adjust our stabilizers. A little bit more. There it is. Now that our camper is all leveled up, let's go ahead and stick on our new Hopkins reflective trailer level. I've already removed the adhesive backing but we want to make sue that we have a nice clean surface before we stick it on.
Let's go ahead and wipe it down. It doesn't really matter where you place the level. You just want to make sure that the camper's level before you stick it on. We'll just choose this spot right here and when we work our way in, we just want to make sure the bubble stays in the middle of the scale. Then we've got it. Now that we've got the front to back level in place, let's go ahead and do your side to side here in the front.
We'll just repeat that same process. Make sure we have a clean surface before we stick it on. We'll also make sure the bubble stays in the middle of the scale. There it is. That's going to complete our look at the Hopkins reflective multi purpose trailer level, part number HN09915. .

The 2 sided tape that comes on them leaves a lot to be desired. Replaced with automotive decal tape since I didn't want to drill into the side of the camper. The center bubble mark is a nice touch . 220713

Appears to be working great. I leveled my trailer then installed these with 3M VHB tape for a long lasting bond to the side of the trailer. Wasn't sure how well the included tape would work and didn't want to screw them into my trailer. Simple, yet important when leveling a trailer. 114511
