I ordered this saw for the hole in my bed, while installing a etrailer hidden hitch in my 1997 Dodge Ram Pickup. This saw cut through the bed of the Ram pickup like butter. Etrailer also was very fast on shipping and sold me the saw at a very competitve price. I would recommend this to my friends. 159228

  • Recommended Hide-A-Goose Hitch for 2014 Dodge Ram 3500
  • For your 2014 Ram 3500, the Reese 9464 is not a confirmed fit. Instead you would want the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # 9466. This is rated for up to 30,000 lbs and is a confirmed fit for your truck. I've attached a video to assist. For this installation, I recommend the 3-1/2" Hole Saw for Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Hitch Installation # 58381 along with pilot bit # 1124. You may also want to consider wiring harness # 50-97-410 to add a 7-way to your truck bed for...

This comes with the custom rail kit designed specifically for your Silverado. I have attached a link to a product review video for this gooseneck hitch you can check out. • Gooseneck Hitch Ball Location When Installing Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose # 9465-36 in 2007 Tundra
  • The hole for the gooseneck hitch ball in your 2007 Toyota Tundra truck bed is to be located 41-1/2inches forward of the rear edge of the bed and should be centered between the wheel wells. It is recommended to start a 1/4-inch pilot hole to establish your position before using a hole saw to cut the 3-1/2-inch hole. I have linked the page for a 3-1/2-inch hole saw in case you need this item, part # 58381. There are two sets of installation instructions for this hitch. The alternate instructions...

  • How Difficult is the Installation of the Remove-A-Ball Gooseneck Hitch on a 2012 Chevy Silverado HD
  • The level of difficulty for the installation of the Draw-Tite Remove-a-ball Gooseneck Hitch, # 6300-4456, on your 2012 Chevrolet Silverado HD is going to depend on the experience and mechanical ability of the installer. There is no welding required to install this hitch, however, there will be some drilling and cutting of the truck bed and heat shield required to install this hitch. I have attached the installation instructions for the Remove-a-Ball hitch and the rail kit for you to...

  • Pilot Hole Location for Placing Gooseneck Hitch Ball in Bed of 2012 Ford F150
  • For the 5-1/2 and 6-1/2 foot bed of the 2012 Ford F150, you'd drill the pilot hole for the gooseneck ball to pass through the truck bed at 45-3/4 inches forward of the rear of the truck bed (not the end of the tailgate.) This holds true for the 5-1/2 and the 6-1/2 foot bed. If you don't already have a 3-1/2 inch hole saw, you'll need part # 58381 and the # 1937 arbor. If you don't already have a 7-way trailer connector installed in the truck bed, you can install one using part # 41157. If...

  • What is the Best Tool to Use to Cut a Hole for a Vent in an Enclosed Trailer
  • I was going to recommend a rotary tool but if you are having a hard time with it then maybe you will need to use a different attachment. There are different cutting bits and a sabrecut bit would allow you to not only drill a hole but cut laterally as well. The rough width of the hole will need to be 5-1/2 inches wide. If you use a hole saw like # 58381 it will provide a 3-1/2 inch diameter and you can get a pretty good start that way and then make it pretty with the rotary tool. The...

  • Where is the Gooseneck Ball Hole Location in the Bed of a 2007 Chevy Silverado 3500 Long Bed
  • According to the instructions for gooseneck trailer hitch # 9465-34, on a long bed 2007 Chevy Silverado, new body style, the hole for the ball will be drilled 49-3/8 inches measuring from the rear edge of the bed forward. I have linked the instructions for you to view. You will need a hole saw link # 58381 to drill the hole.

  • Will a Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Fit a 1989 GMC C/K 3500 Dually
  • As long as your 1989 GMC C/K 3500 is not a 4-door crew cab model, the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, # 9465-40, will fit. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you. The hitch does come with the correct installation kit. You may need a hole saw, # 58381 if you do not already have one.

  • Is the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch A Bolt-On Fit for a 2011 Chevy 1500
  • Yes, the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit part # 9465-54 is a direct bolt-on fit for your 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with the 6-1/2' bed (non-flare/stepside). However, you will need to drill into the bed floor for the hitch ball opening and safety chain loops but I am sure this is of no surprise to you. • What Size Hole is Drilled in the Bed of a 2013 Chevy Silverado for a Gooseneck Trailer Hitch
  • The installation instructions which I have linked for you call for a 3-1/2 inch hole saw so I do not advise going against that recommendation. However, you can start with a 3 inch hole and if that does not affect the installation in anyway it would be permissible. Otherwise I would just stick with 3-1/2 inches. If you need a 3-1/2 inch hole saw use # 58381.
