Simple, Automatic Tensioning
The Revolution has a spring-loaded tensioning system helps to keep the cover taut at all times, and it latches down at the tailgate with a tail rail that is attached to the vinyl cover.
The side rails have spring blocks located at each end. When you unroll the cover and snap down the tail rail, the cover is pulled snug at all four corners by the spring-loaded blocks, giving your truck bed a low-profile, sharp look.
To secure the cover at the tailgate, insert the tail rail into the grooves on the spring blocks and press down. The tail rail will snap into place and make the cover taut.
To release the tension on the tail rail, and therefore the tension on the cover, simply push down on the trigger mechanism located on the spring blocks on the tailgate end of each rail.
Bow catchers along the side rails of the tonneau keep the cover secured along the sides and provide horizontal tarp tension.
These catchers are attached to the rails and each one serves as a ledge for the end of a bow to hook under when the cover is unrolled. Once the cover is latched down these catchers securely hold the bows in place.
Built-In Bows
The sturdy bows are pre-attached to the fabric and smoothly roll up and unroll with the cover. This reinforces the cover and saves you time because you won't have to remove and re-install the bows every time you need to use your truck bed. You also won't have to store the bows separately when the tonneau is rolled up.
Sturdy Construction
The Revolution is built to last and is backed by a lifetime warranty. The frame rails and bows are constructed of lightweight, rustproof aluminum that has a durable black powder coat finish. The heavy-duty black vinyl skin has polymer-backed edges and nylon-reinforced corners to keep it from bending out of shape. Rubber seals along the tonneau's side rails help to keep out water.
Easy, No-Drill Installation
Installing the Revolution on your truck bed is a simple process. There's no need to drill, so you don't have to worry about damaging your bed or the tonneau cover frame. The tonneau's side rails attach to your truck bed side rails with the included, pre-drilled clamps. The bows, cab rail, and tail rail all come pre-attached to the vinyl cover.
The cab rail lays across the bed, snaps down into the grooves in the spring blocks, and secures to the side rails with slide latches. To complete installation, simply unroll the cover and snap down the tail rail.

Glad my future son-in-law talked me into the Extang Revolution. Very easy to install and fit was perfect on my Ford F-150. Really like the way the supports roll up with the cover. The way it is setup with the spring tension the cover is always tight. E-Trailer service is A+. The order for this tonneau top was placed on Wedensday it was delivered on Friday. First, I love the cover. It performs as expected and has held up well over the past year with no issues and still looks great. Second, this is the fourth cover. I bought this cover from etrailer because of customer service, price, fast shipping, etc. All good stuff. However, the first cover I received from etrailer was the wrong cover. Not sure how it happened because it was ordered online. No blame anywhere. When I contacted etrailer about it, they were willing to take it back but I would have to pay a restocking fee plus shipping. Ouch. However, etrailer agreed to waive the restocking fee but I would still need to pay shipping to return it. Extang is about 70 miles from my home and it was cheaper to drive it to them than to pay shipping. I returned the cover, Extang notified etrailer they received it and I was able to order the right cover. The next cover I received had a visible scratch across the cover material and was very noticable. I contacted Extang and they covered it under warranty. Great, new cover received and this one was literally cut arcoss the material. Back to Extang and again, new cover received under warranty. Both etrailer and Extang stepped up. I love the cover. Second Extang cover I've owned for two different trucks. Other than time, all is well. 852581

Delivery was on time. Installation of rails using box sidewall clamps was prone to cross threading so be sure you don’t hold clamps at any angle when attempting to start bolts. The cross bar hold downs took a few attempts to position properly so top is pulled tight when closed but they appear to be holding well after 1 month. Its looks really nice and weathertight. 726528

Took a non-mechanically inclined me about 45 minutes to unpackage, read the directions and install. Good quality materials, installation fairly straightforward. There was an addendum for installing the cover on certain model years of the Chevy, can't remember exactly which one. Tonneau cover had held up well, some water does get in around the side, not very much though and I know and prepare for it. Very convenient to be able to roll it up and secure it for oversized objects. I've recommended this cover to several other truck owners because of it's quality and my purchase experience with etrailer. 520484
