This is the Mountain Top EVOm Tonneau Cover with truck bed rails. It's going to be a high end tonneau cover, constructed of a series of aluminum slats (knocking on cover) that keep things protected underneath. And when pared in conjunction with your locking tailgate, keeps it away from would be thieves. When you're ready to open it up, it deploys and retracts (cover sliding) with that red cord up there. You can push it to the canister where it'll all store in place. And the pole strap here is going to be the thing you use at the tailgate end to re-pull that cord (cover sliding) and deploy it again for covered storage.
It's great that you can operate it all from the tailgate and close it up, get on your way and have all the fuel economy benefits with it closed up. Up top, these truck bed rails can be used for any sort of accessory, whether it be a bike rack or a rooftop tent. You can move them around along the T track here to match up with different crossbar spreads if you need it and it gives you the ability to mount things on top while still keeping your covered, locked storage underneath. This cover replaced a soft vinyl tonneau because I was looking for greater bed security, especially on a four month camping trip we planned on taking. It succeeds admirably in this regard.
Overall, I am pleased with the unit. Installation was not as easy as some would have you believe; the instruction book was picture only, no words or handy insights of any kind. Ultimately, with some slight modifications here and there, the unit fits snug and is weather tight.
To keep smooth operation, some spray lubrication on the top and under the side rails is a necessity from time to time. No big deal.
Would I buy it again? Without hesitation. Price wise, at the time, it was slightly less expensive than others and from actual observations just as usable, well made and in no way subtracts from the look of my F-150.

Fits 2022 F150 well, water tight minus a few edge leaks toward the tailgate during big storms. Had to wd40 the plastic areas where it rolls into as it was near impossible to move after about 10 months...this fixed it well and plan to maintain it every 6 months with a quick spray. Do wish it had a 'handle' on the top to pull closed when the tailgate is already up. I tried to put a stick on handle but the cheap double sided tape pulled off after a few days in the weather. Plan to keep trying alternatives. Overall like this given its very secure and (mostly) water tight.
