Platinum Plus Warranty with Roadside Assistance

This tire-and-wheel assembly comes with a Platinum Plus warranty that includes complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years. If your trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change out the flat tire with your existing inflated spare tire. The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to the roadside assistance, this warranty also includes other benefits and services.

Corrosion-Resistant Finish

The steel wheel goes through a 3-step finishing process that makes it both attractive and corrosion resistant. The wheel is first submerged in a zinc phosphate bath to ensure good paint adhesion. It is then e-coated with an acrylic primer base and the outboard side is finished with baked-on DuPont powder paint. The light e-coat on the inboard side of the wheel reduces friction between the wheel and your hub and eliminates the flaking that can occur with a heavily applied paint finish.

Improved Torque Retention Technology

Beveled Stud Holes Front and Back

The automotive-rated center disc is raised and the stud holes are beveled and uncoated for better clamp force retention. This technology helps the wheel stay tight against your hub without the need for constant retightening.

Provider Radials with Automotive-Grade Tread

Provider Tread Vs Standard Tread

Unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the automotive-grade tread on these Provider radials has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. The Provider tread also has sipes. Siping is a process in which thin grooves (or sipes) are cut into the rubber of the tire. The grooves channel water away from the tread so that the tire makes better contact with the road. Both of these features greatly improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.

Provider radials are constructed with double polyester cords and double steel belts for increased durability and endurance. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation. Provider radials are bake tested - a process usually reserved for automotive tires - to ensure that the rubber holds up over time.

Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires

Radial tire vs bias tire graphic

Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Determining the Bolt Pattern

The first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes. The second number denotes the diameter, in inches, of the circle on which the bolt holes sit.

Bolt Pattern - Odd

To determine the bolt-circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes, measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. (Example: "5 on 4-1/2" means 5 bolt holes with 4-1/2" measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes.)

Bolt Pattern - Even

On wheels with an even number of bolt holes, measure from the center of one bolt hole to the center of the hole directly across from it. (Example: "8 on 6-1/2" means 8 bolt holes with 6-1/2" from the center of one hole to the center of another on the opposite side.)

Bolt Pattern - Side

Measuring the distance from the center of one bolt hole on the wheel to the center of a bolt hole right next to it can also help to determine the bolt pattern.

  • If D = 2-5/8", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2"
  • If D = 2-3/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4"
  • If D = 3", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5"
  • If D = 3-1/4", then the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2"

These were very nice tires. I had been using the 75d 15 tires that you buy at tractor supply. These tires are the same price, a way better tread depth, 2 ply thicker and a much better radial 75r15. I paid 10 bucks to have the pair balanced and the tires ride much smoother then the ones from tractor supply. I would definitely buy them again. 479888

These tires were on an trailer that i used to haul atv, motorcycle and about 1500 other lbs of gear from New Mexico to Maine and they held up great. I use the trailer on a regular bases and still no problems.

Installed a yr ago. Perfect product. One thing for me though.... I had to buy different fenders because I bought better tires and rims for this new axle which turned out to be slightly wider. So the original fender would have cut into the tires. I got everything from etrailer. Axle with brakes fully assembled, controller, fenders, wire harness, connections tires, time and more...and couldn't be happier with cust service, pricing and availability. 426126

Replaced 13 inch tires on my Alumicraft Competitor 170 boat trailer with these that I Inherited. The boat and trailer are 20 years old and the 13's always looked overloaded, but these 15's hardly show any signs of strain. The trailer has burned through tires since it's inception, so after adjusting the axle and putting these stronger, more durable tires on, I expect no further problems. Product arrived in great condition with plenty of communication from eTrailer before and after shipping. I plan on putting many miles without any future problems. 568407

This is a review of Provider St205/75r15 Radial W 15 White Spoke Wheel - 5on4.5". The tires and rims look great. The tread has an automobile look. They also have a higher load/speed rating than the originals. Price was unbeatable! Delivery was fast. I paid for the express delivery and the tires showed on the fifth business day. I bought four to replace 8 year old trailer tires. Two of which blew out on a trip to Reno. The two that failed were on the "sunny" (parked) side of the trailer. Also blew the fender off! I should have replaced them before the trip...my bad. I'm having wheel covers made for when the trailer is parked. 261190

Peace of mind... the change from 65 mph (top non-sustainable speed) from the OEM tires to these with 81 mph (top non-sustainable speed) has given me real peace of mind after the 1 if the OEM tires blew out on the FL. turnpike going about 65 mph taking the fender & wiring out with it. That is when I did some research on the speed rating for trailer tires! What an eye-opener. So I opted for these with the M speed rating and am very pleased. We have been humming along about 70 mph with no trepidations. Thanks. 566624

Comments

In addition to not exceeding the tires speed rating, improperly inflating the tires or exceeding the tires load rating can also have an adverse effect on tire life and safety.

I will first state that these guys were fast to ship my tires! I got these things in only four days. The look is exactly as in the photos. I am not a fan of the little pinstripes around the rim, but that's just personal. One can also expect each of the wheels to have a paint chip or two, especially around the rim (I assume from the tire mounting machine). They may rust a bit prematurely if you don't touch them up. Otherwise WYSIWYG. So far I have only one short trip on these skins. They seem to be as billed, they are RV trailer tires. I have them mounted on an 8750 GVWR fifth wheel, so I'll not overload or stress them. I'm looking at longevity. Let's see what has happened by this time next year. So far so good. 565452

I have an 8.5 X 16 foot enclosed trailer that I haul from South Florida to NE Tennessee (1700 miles round trip) 4 times per year. The trailer is close to max load and pulled at 75 MPH. I was having 1 out of 4 tires blow out each trip until I switched to the steel belted tires. I wish I would have done it a long time ago. 576439

Just finished a 4000 mi. trip through the mountains of Idaho, Montana, Utah, Colo. the tires on our travel trailer look good as new. We've also traveled from OK to Florida and to AZ. Love the heavier load rating that allows me to run these tires at 60 psi. Highly recommend these tires for your travel trailer. 428857

Comments

Glenn, for maximum tire wear and performance, trailer tires should always be kept inflated to the maximum psi stated on the tire sidewall. In your case, keep the tires inflated to 65 psi.To see our trailer tire FAQ, click on this link:If you have any questions or comments, please give us a call. Wed love to help.

These appear to be quality tires and wheels! I purchased similar ones for my travel trailer late last summer and they have been great thus far! The real test will be when I go get my trailer for the first time this spring - will they have about the same air in the tires as when I dropped it off. (Hope so!) I was a little concerned when I put these on my cargo trailer this evening as the first tire had 65 lbs of air pressure (which is what they should have), but the 2nd one only had 20 lbs. I aired it up to 65 and will keep a close eye on it this week. Next week I leave for a 2200-2500 mile trip, which is why I put new tires on. Hopefully I don't have a leaker! The only other thing I noticed was that one of the wheels had several 5-7 minor spots around the outside bead of the rim where the paint had been knocked off. I hope those don't quickly become rust spots. I may try to touch them up - but touch up paint on wheels probably isn't a great solution. Overall, the buying experience was great as it always is with etrailer. Thanks! 470401

I have a Forest River trailer with a GVWR of 7,700 lbs, yet it came with load range C tires (rated at 1750 lbs each). The factory tires were wearing badly on the shoulders, like they were underinflated, even though I was very meticulous about keeping them at 50 psi. They would also lose a lot air over time, 3-5 psi per week. The were basically junk tires that were shot after ~ 7,000 miles. Swapping to these tires has made an amazing difference. No more shoulder wear and these tires lose very little air over time (lost about 2 psi in each tire after sitting through the winter). Plus, knowing that my tires are actually rated to carry the weight of my trailer is a big plus. It should be illegal for a trailer manufacturer to sell a trailer with tires that are not rated to carry the full weight of the trailer. 384407

To the Etrailer TEAM: (1) My five tires arrived in perfect condition; meaning the UPS staff did not damage the boxes. (2) The tires visually looked perfect; just like what was shown on your website. (3) Note; “Balancing Required” I very glad I took these tires to be computer balanced, as they all need weights added. The tire that needed the most weight will be my spare. (4) NOTE: I wish Etrailer would also offer a balancing option prior to purchase. (5) I’m very satisfied with these “Made in China” tires and rims; they must have a great manufacturing process over there and seem to be very well made. (ST 205 75 R15” with white spoke rim). (6) Note: My original 26’ RV Camper - 205 75 D14” tires were always running at near maximum weight capacity assuming they had the 50 LBS PSI; These NEW 15” tires will use up 0.4” of my wheel well clearance; however I will now have 30+% extra tire load capacity which I hope will lessen future tire fatigue. Thank You, Scott 378975

Purchased a used camper that had rotten tires, when I moved it from storage to my house for some detail and upgrade work, one tire blew out and other three were starting to shred. I ordered my Provider tires and spoke wheel combo (4) on Sunday and got the first two on Wednesday and the other two on Thursday. Wow, fast service. Had them balanced and I mounted them. The wife and I took a three week, first long RV trip from Colorado to Pennsylvania in July 2017. Added EEZTire monitor to watch pressure and temperature to prevent all too often blow-outs and low pressure heating (a must have accessory). Tires ran cool and had great handling on my 7K lb. trailer, even in some severe rain storms (great water siping). Would highly recommend these tires, for the price they can't be beat. Only about 3,500 miles, so time will tell about mileage capability. 528839

So I put on a new suspension, over/under swap and a spare tire/carrier and everything worked out great! I had some difficulty in figuring out the right parts but they called me as soon as I placed the order and we worked out the details over the phone and even save me a ton of money in unnecessary parts and shipping. Awesome company and super helpful customer service. 500360

Rims keep coming damaged. 5 out of 6 rims came damaged. Etrailer did offer to credit me some money back, but it's not enough. Etrailer stood behond the rims and offered to send me more, but wouldn't speed up the shipping. Waiting another 5 days isn't good. Something is wrong with their system or the provider brand wheels. I included some pictures of the chipped up rims right out of the box. Each close up picture is different damage / chip 526664

I feel very fortunate to have found your company and your great website. I had blown two tires on my 17 ft. Casita and was most disappointed in my new existing tires. After talking with the Casita Factory I was informed I could put on a set of the ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer tires. I searched the web and found your company and was highly impressed with your web site as well as all the favorable reviews. I also liked the various videos you had on the site. I ordered the tires via the internet and received very prompted delivery of the tires. They look great and I would have no qualms about recommending your company. Thank You for the great service, information, and value you provide. 405341

I purchased these tires and rims to put on a 12 ft. enclosed trailer one year ago. I have used the trailer for several different applications around western Montana and have had zero problems. The trailer will be going to Arizona and back soon that will be the ultimate test regarding tires but so far so good. For the money, both tires and new rims I could not even get close to this price locally for just tires. Deliver was prompt as usual from etrailer and follow up correspondence professional again as usual. Richard Smith Trout Creek, Montana 447642

As always, etrailer’s shipping was extremely fast. Items arrived in great/undamaged condition. The tires are nice tires and fit our cargo trailer perfectly. • Replacement Hub/Drum Assembly Needed for a Dexter 8-147 Assembly
  • Your drum/hub that is the Dexter 8-147 part number should have an inner bearing # LM48548, an outer bearing # L44649, and a grease seal # 58846. The hub/drum assembly that I recommend using is the part # AKHD-545-35-K which is compatible with 3,500 lb axles and has the bearings and seal that fit your spindle. It fits 10" brake assemblies so you will want to verify that on your end. This...

  • Changing Tire & Wheel Size To Raise The Height Of Your Trailer
  • In order to account for clearance issues that may occur from changing to a larger wheel and tire combination, you will want to measure a few things on your Wildwood trailer first. To start, you will want about 2-3 inches between your tires. Also, you will want 4-1/2 inches between the top of the tire tread and the inside of the wheel well to accommodate for suspension travel and maximum bump clearance. If you switch from a 205/75R14 tire to a 205/75R15 tire like the highly recommended...

  • 5 Lug Trailer Wheel and Tire Recommendation for Trailer with Size ST205/75R15
  • The most popular bolt pattern is the 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Here's the easy way to determine what you have.Use the distance between the center of one bolt hole to the center of the bolt hole adjacent to it. If the distance is: 2-5/8" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2 2-3/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4 3" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5 3-1/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2 If you do have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch the best option is the part # A15R645WSD as it's a radial tire...

  • Determining Bolt Pattern to Choose a Spare Tire for a Trailer
  • You most likely have a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern but there are ways to determine the bolt pattern for sure. You can measure the center to center distance from one hole to an adjacent one. If the distance is: 2-5/8" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2 2-3/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4 3" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5 3-1/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2 There is another way that is a little more difficult unless the wheel is not on the trailer. It is covered in the link I have...

  • Is the Wheel and Tire Combo from Taskmaster part # A15R645WSD Balanced
  • The tire and wheel combos we carry like the part # A15R645WSD are not machined balanced. You can have the tire and wheel combos balanced at a local tire shop if you wanted to. What our tire manufacturers will do is line up the light spot on the tire with the heavy spot on the wheel. This is a type of balancing but not like how car tires are balanced (with weights on a balancing machine).

  • Recommended Spindles, Hub Assemblies, And Wheels For Old Trailer With Bearings In The Rim
  • I have a hub for your trailer, but unfortunately we don't have a hub that will work with the inner diameters of your current bearings. You would need to replace your spindle to upgrade your system. You will need to consult a qualified trailer fabricator to have the old spindles removed and new spindles welded on. We carry the parts that would be needed. For the spindle, I recommend the EZ Lube Spindle 1.75" RD x 3" STUB # R20384EZ. This will have the built in grease zerk for easy...

  • Comparing Spoke and Mod Trailer Wheels
  • Mod wheels such as the one in tire and wheel combo # A15R645SMPVD have the distinctive round holes. A "regular" trailer wheel on the other hand has more triangle shaped holes and is referred to as a "spoke" wheel. Take a look at # A15R645WSD as an example. So basically you are looking at an appearance difference. I have included links to video reviews of both for you.

  • Recommended Wheels and Tires for Bolt Pattern with 3 Inch Centers
  • If you lug bolts are 3 inches on center then you have a 5 on 5 bolt pattern on your 2016 PJ utility trailer. I have linked the page to all of the options compatible with this bolt pattern for your convenience. If you are looking for new tires and wheels, I recommend the Taskmaster Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" White Spoke Wheel - 5 on 5 - Load Range D # A15R65WSD. This combo will come balanced and ready to install. It has a load rating of 2150 lbs at 65 psi and...

  • Fit and Compatibility of 5 on 4-1/2 Inch Wheels and Tires
  • Most rims that are 5 on 4-1/2 inches are similar. They have different sizes regarding diameter and width, but they have the same bolt pattern. Most trailers also have a zero offset, but every once in a while there is one that has a slight offset. I've linked the page to all of your options and I've attached a couple articles to assist. The wheels (rims) can often allow you to use bias or radial tires depending on your use. If you need further help, let me know.

  • I did some research on your Haulmark 5X8 Enclosed Cargo Trailer and it looks like the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire part # A15R645WSD is exactly what you need. This assembly has a load range D rating which is suitable for use up to 2,150 lbs per tire and a 81 mph speed rating. It comes with a two year warranty. If you would like a spare tire carrier to use with this wheel/tire on your trailer I recommend the MaxxTow Spare Tire Carrier part # MT70214. I have attached a review...

  • How to Determine Tire Size on Jayco StarCraft Pop-Up Camper Trailer
  • Since there are 18 models of camper trailer in the 2002 StarCraft product line (according to NADA guide) and since there is no guarantee that the 15-year-old trailer has the original OEM tires on it, you will need to check the tire sidewall to find the size. You could check with Jayco using the camper's VIN; they could then tell you what was originally supplied but that does not guarantee that same size is still on the camper. Note that any given wheel size may accept more than one tire...

  • Replacement Trailer Tires Needed for 185/65-15 Size Auto Tires
  • You are definitely doing the right thing by changing out passenger car tires and putting trailer tires on your trailer. Trailer tires have a sidewall that is a little more rigid and so they can handle the weight of trailers and their cargo much better than passenger car tires can. I do have a recommendation for you, but we do not carry any trailer tires in the 205/60-15 or 205/65-15 size. The trailer tire that we have closest to your 185-65-15 tire size is 205/75-15. A tire this size...

  • Recommended Tire and Wheel Combination Similar in Size to 205/65R15
  • The 205/65-15 tires are 25.5 inches in diameter with a width of 8.1 inches and a sidewall height of 5.2 inches. These are not a tire size we can get. My recommendation is the 205/75R14 tires with a diameter of 26.3 inches, width of 8.1 inches and sidewall height of 6.3 inches for a very similar size tire. I recommend the Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 14" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # AM32161. This combination wheel and tire is rated for 2,200 lbs at...

  • I was able to find some information on your Cargomate TXLEEH58SA trailer. From what I found, it appears your tire size is 15 and your load range is B based on the factory tires. We have only one load range B option and it is the Loadstar ST205/75D15 Bias Trailer Tire with 15" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range B # AM3S625. This is rated for loads of up to 1480 lbs at 35 psi and max speed of 65 mph. If you don't have the factory tires, I recommend looking at the sidewall and seeing...

These tires are rated for 2,150 lbs at 65 psi. They also have a speed rating of up to 81 mph. These tires have the automotive grade tread with sipes that channel water away. They will fit 15" x 5", 15" x 5-1/2", 15" x 6", and 15" x 6-1/2" wheels. If you want the combination of tires and wheels, I recommend...

  • Can ST205/75R14 Trailer Tires be Replaced with ST205/76R15 Trailer Tires
  • You can potentially switch from ST205/75R14 tires and wheels to ST205/75R15 tires and wheels but you first need to make sure that there is enough clearance all around the existing tires for the larger size. The 14s that you have now are abut 26.3 inches tall and about 8.1 inches wide. The 205/75-15s will be about 27.1 inches tall and about 8.1 inches wide. The width is the same but the 15s will be about 0.8 inches taller which means that there needs to be clearance above the existing...

  • The Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel - 15" x 5" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - White Powder Coat # AM20422 is not PSI rated. The tire you use will determine the PSI needed and the speed maximum for that combination. You will need a valve stem compatible with the max PSI of whatever tire you choose. For this particular wheel, I recommend the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # TR20515D which is rated for 65 PSI, a load range of 2150 max, and a speed rating of 81 mph. You...

  • Trailer Spare for Wheel and Tire Size 205/75R15
  • That's not a great idea honestly. Passenger vehicle wheels usually have offsets that don't fit properly on trailers and the tires aren't rated for trailer use either. For your size of 205/75R15 the best option would be an exact replacement like the part # A15R645WSD which is the correct size and has a 5 lug bolt pattern.

  • Recommendation for Upgrading Tire and Wheel Size on Trailer with Flipped Axle
  • Since you are flipping the axle on your 2015 Flagstaff Pop-Up Camper, going to a larger tire and wheel size should not be an issue. As you mentioned, you will just need to make sure you have the needed clearance on your trailer, specifically within the wheel wells. When moving the trailer's leaf springs to above the axle, the trailer is going to essentially be lifted by the width of both the axle and the spring stack. Your existing ST145/R12 tires have an overall diameter/height of 21.3...

  • Do Tire and Wheels Come Balanced?

However, they are mounted so the high heavy spot on the tire is aligned with the low light spot on the wheel, creating the necessary balance. You do have the option of having them balanced at your local tire shop if you like though that won't be something you have to do in order to use them. I've added a link to each of our tire and wheel combos for you to check out.
