I bought the tires to install on my golf cart. I wanted a heavier duty tire that was street rated. These are the perfect tire for my application as my golf cart spends a lot of time on cement cart paths or the street. Etrailer had the best price, free shipping and they were in stock. Great service. 575897

Got a nail in the sidewall of my current boat trailer tire & needed a replacement. These are C rated tires where my currents are E rated, but since I have a double axle trailer for only an 18 ft pontoon, I am sure these will do just fine. Shipping was very prompt & the quality seems just fine. 559672

Very good service , excellent actually. The inventory on the website is easy accessible, order entry seamless. Further, the shipment was executed same day and all notifications were emailed to me. The tire showed up at my door in a matter of a few days in perfectly packaged. Also , the company immediately, followed with an email noticed of the delivery completion. All in all, that other online retailer can not do it better. Thank you, will do again. 512390

I was worried that these tires would not fit. My Coleman pop up is 30 years old and they don't make that size any longer. I was also worried that there might be tubes. There weren't. These were supposed to be a direct replacement...They Were! First I called my local tire place and they didn't have the tires I needed so I found them at etrailer.com. I ordered two of them and they arrived in a large heavy duty box with the top stapled with 11 heavy duty rivets. I didn't have a valve stem puller so I took them to my local tire place. For $22 they removed the old tires, installed 2 extra long valve stems and installed the new tires. They look super and fit my pop up just right. Thank you! 273080

Speedy delivery and high quality products. I ordered the RV tire cover as well as 5 trailer tires. I had to replace the awful and extremely poor quality tires that came with the Farm-Tuff Utility Trailer — 2,200-Lb. Capacity, Model# 03813 wagon that i ordered from Northern Tool. 539421

  • Snowmobile Trailer Tires to Replace 20.5x8-10 TIres
  • The modern equivalent to the 20.5 x 8-10 tires is a 205/65-10. We have options in this size in load ranges B through E. For a B use # AM1HP50 rated for 910 pounds at 35 psi For a C use # AM1HP52 rated for 1,100 pounds at 50 psi For a D use # AM1HP54 rated for 1,330 pounds at 70 psi For an E use # AM1HP56 rated for 1,650 pounds at 90 psi

  • Replacement Options for a 20-5x8.0-10 Trailer Tire
  • The tire size you referenced "20-5x8.0-10" is the same as a 205/65-10. We currently have 4 tire option in this size. They are offered in a B-E load range. You will need to take the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of your trailer and divide that by the number of tires on your trailer to determine the correct load range. I have listed the selection for you below. Load Range B: part # AM1HP50 (910 lbs per tire) Load Range C: part # AM1HP52 (1,100 lbs per tire) Load Range D: part...

  • Will Load Range E 205/65-10 Trailer Tire Fit In Place of a Load Range C Tire
  • A load range E tire will have a higher capacity than a load range C. However, it does not increase the capacity of the trailer. The load range E will be stronger though so if that is what you are looking for then you can switch to a higher load range if you wanted to. If you want to stick with a C load range then go with # AM1HP52.

  • Should I Switch To Radial Tires From Bias On Boat Trailer That Travels On Highway
  • I definitely recommend to switch over from bias tire part # AM1HP52 to radials if you are traveling on a hot Florida Highway. Radial tires cords are positioned to flex easier than the stiffer sidewall of the bias tires. Bias tires create more friction while going down the highway because of their stiffer sidewall which creates heat and can lead to blow outs. I recommend the Kenda Karrier S-Trail part # AM10130 which is a ST145/R12. The diameter of the tire is only 1.3" larger than...

  • What PSI Should Trailer Tires be Inflated to
  • With nearly all trailer tires you need to inflate them to the max psi rating that's listed on the sidewall when they are "cold" or haven't been used in at least a few hours. This ensures you get the maximum capacity from the tires and also prevents heat buildup which often causes tire failure. I attached a help article on trailer tires for you to check out as well.

  • Proper Inflation of a Trailer Tire
  • It's possible that other manufacturers have different guidelines for their specific trailer tires, but all of our trailer tire manufacturers recommend always inflating their tires to the maximum psi as listed on the sidewall. The reason for this is that a trailer tire features a thicker, stronger sidewall that allows it to carry its specified maximum load. This load capacity is only reached when the tire is inflated to the maximum psi, while under-inflating the tire essentially reduces...

They were designed for highway use honestly. It's probably not what you need but check out the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire # AM1HP52. Kenda tires are also rated for a maximum of 65 miles per hour so speeds above that likely exacerbated the issue. The next common size up would be a 205/65-10 such as # AM1HP52. It would be slightly more narrow but almost 2 inches taller than the 18.5 that you have now. So there would have to be enough clearance above the existing tires to use the larger size and still have room for the travel of the suspension.
