Limited Warranty with Free Tire Replacement

This tire has a limited warranty with free tire replacement on workmanship defects. You are eligible for this warranty within the first 12 months from date of purchase or the first 2/32" of usable tread, whichever comes first.

Goodyear Endurance Radials

This radial ply tire from Goodyear is constructed with double steel belts and triple polyester cords for increased durability. A protective layer of nylon is wrapped around the steel belts to help prevent tread separation and an inner liner made out of halobutyl rubber reduces air loss.

Goodyear Endurance Durawall Technology

This Goodyear Endurance tire was built with Durawall technology, which is used on a lot of Goodyear's light truck tires for severe, heavy-duty use. This technology consists of a rubber compound that reinforces the sidewall to help prevent cuts, punctures, and other damage. Furthermore, the tire has a scuff guard, which is the raised strip of rubber on the sidewall. This protects the tire from abrasion if you hit a curb.

Goodyear Endurance Tread

And unlike standard trailer tire tread, which has solid, continuous ribs, the automotive-grade tread on these Goodyear Endurance tires has ribs with breaks. These breaks allow water to run off to the sides. This greatly improves traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.

Goodyear Endurance Coupling Grooves

The tread also consists of decoupling grooves that run along the outer edges of the tire. These grooves help evenly distribute the pressure that is put on the tire from contact with the road. When this happens, the grooves wear out faster than the surrounding tread, which minimizes irregular wear, especially when you're towing. Additionally, these outer edges usually heat up more quickly than the rest of the tire, and these decoupling grooves help keep it cool.

Radial Tires vs. Bias Tires

Radial tire vs bias tire graphic

Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias ply tire. As a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds.

Shopping at E-trailer is such a treat! I have made several purchases at E-trailer and the service is absolutely great! Sara you did it again, another quick delivery! Ordered two trailer tires and received them the next day. For quick, knowledgeable, courteous and honest shopping, go with e-trailer! You can't go wrong! A big thank you goes out to Sara and the rest of the gang! 690468

Whenever I need trailer parts I turn to ETRAILER. Picked up a nail about an hour from home, pulled the nail, plugged the tire and was able to make it home. Logged on, ordered a new tire, paid for the 3-5 day shipping and it arrived in time to get me back on the road. The tires in my enclosed trailer were Goodyear Marathon but all that is offered is the Endurance. It seems to be the replacement for the Marathon as it has the same tread and everything. Another satisfying interaction with ETRAILER. 647264

I wanted to replace my factory-installed travel trailer wheels and tires from 14.5" to 15" diameter, plus improve the wear resistance to a Load D rating. We still wanted to maintain the Retro look of our trailer, so we opted for the wheels that supported the original shiny half-moon hubcaps. After receiving all the parts (one damaged hubcap was quickly replaced; I recommend shipping them in a different box than the heavy wheels), I spray-painted the wheels a bright red, to support the original color scheme, then had them mounted and balanced by the local tire shop. I then installed them; they look great! Paula was a terrific help with the order processing; made it all go quite seamlessly! 746318

I thought these tires were just fine, price was average. I will say though when I went to have them installed the tire shop employee went on and on about what a pile of crap these are!? Said they will be flat spotted in a year if the trailer isn't used weekly. Yikes. The tires we took off the trailer was a different brand so we will see how these hold up, i sure hope the guy at the tire shop was full of it. As of right now, I like the tires and they are deserving of the 5 stars. 715631

For your triple axle boat trailer with 10K capacity and 15 inch wheels, I recommend the Goodyear Endurance ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # 724861519. Dry rot on trailer tires is caused by storage/exposure in excessive heat and sun, an overall lack of use, or low inflation on the tires. While I will say that the Goodyear tires on your older trailer are probably of better quality than the Carlisles that came with your new one, it's much more likely that their dry rot was the result of the previous owner's storage situation along with how much he actually pulled the trailer around than the difference in brand/construction between the two...

The closest to that for a trailer tire is a ST205/75R15 tire which measures 27.1" in diameter, is 8" wide and also fits 15" wheels. Thanks for all the info you gave for the tires you need! That makes picking out the perfect trailer tire for your setup easy. The best option for your tire size of ST205/75-15 is the USA made Goodyear # 724861519 as it is the most reliable, has the best all-weather traction like you are wanting, has the highest speed rating at 87 mph and in the unlikely situation where you had a blowout it comes with a warranty that includes free tire replacement.

  • Difference Between ST205/75D15 and ST205/75R15 Size Tires
The difference between a D15 tire and an R15 tire is the construction. The D denotes that it's a bias tire and the R is for a radial tire. Which is best for you depends on the type of terrain you're towing the trailer on because bias tires have a thicker sidewall making them better for off-road travel where radials run cooler and have better ground contact making them ideal for highway use. Among our selection if you're going with a bias tire I recommend Kenda # AM1ST92. It's the...

  • Speed Rating for Kenda 7.00-15 LT Light Truck Tire K391M
If a 225/75-15 size tire (with a 28.4" diameter) fits well height-wise but it is a little too wide then I recommend going with a 205/75-15 size tire like the Goodyear Endurance # 724861519. This will be about 1" less in diameter and about 0.85" skinnier than the 225/75-15 tire. This tire has a load range of D (2,150 lbs at 65 psi) and a max speed rating of 87 mph. We do have the Taskmaster wheel # 560555SWA with a 5 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern that you can use with this tire if your current...

  • 15 x 5 Trailer Wheel and ST205/75R15 Tire with Same Weight Ratings
It sounds like you may want to order separate wheel and tire parts rather than a pre-mounted part like Contender # AC15R45BMMFL. This 15 x 5-inch wheel # AX02550545BMMFL can use separate radial tire # LHWL300 which has the same 2150-lb weight rating and an L speed rating meaning it is good to 75-mph. For a radial tire with the 2150-lb weight rating and a higher speed rating of 87-mph you can use USA-made Goodyear # 724861519. Our wheel and tire combination items will not always have...
