What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, when we check out the Viair, air down gauge it's gonna be a good way to check the PSI on your RV tire, motor home tire, even your normal vehicle tires just to make sure the PSI is where you want it to be. Let's check it out. When you're going to inflate your tires a lot of the inflators or the compressors have a built in air gauge, but not all of them lets you let air out so that's an important part of this too. So if you over inflate, you can check this gauge hit this button and it'll slowly let air out of the tire safely. So that's important when you're checking your tire pressure in the summer.
Sometimes you need to bag it down a little bit cause you need to over inflate or put a little bit more there in the winter just to make sure the cold doesn't drop your tire pressure. The gauge threads on really easily. You got this threading, just put that on the valve, turn it and it slowly threads on to the tire. I like that because you don't have to hold it in place the whole time and you can just attach that not worry about it coming loose here and you can focus on looking at the gauge and making sure it's right. Looking at the gauge itself, we're gonna have a button up here that releases air from the tire.
You'll push on that and it'll slowly release the air. Looking at the gauge itself, has a rubberized protection all around the outside, even covering up the front portion. So if you we're to drop it on the concrete and see it doesn't make much noise and it's protected. The gauge has 12 inches of hose so that's gonna help you hook up to those hard to reach valves especially on two tire dually setups. But just make sure you check the PSI on the tire and make sure it fits within the gauge.
The gauge goes up to a hundred PSI so just make sure the tire is around there too. You can also use it on your own vehicle too. Like I said, a standard size tire threads on just the same just to check out where your tire pressure's at. Looks like I'm a little bit above 35, where like to keep it. So I'm gonna let some more out.
Also comes with a carrying case. I like that. That way it's just not loose in the back of your vehicle or your glove box. It fits pretty much any of those places. It isn't really that big, so it's gonna fold up in there through the front pouch and you can just zip it up. I like that it's all contained here. That way it's gonna be easy to find when you need it. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and hope this helps..
