These durable, low-carbon steel chains provide excellent traction in deep snow. The rounded twist links limit jarring, and the ladder pattern assists with effective starts and stops.

Installation
1. Drape the chain over the tire, making sure that the side chain with the lever is on the outside. Drive forward about 1/4 of a tire revolution. (You can also lay the chain out and then drive onto it.)
2. Reach around behind the tire and fasten the ends of the chain together.
3. Move back to the front of the tire and fasten the ends of the chain together using the built-in lever.
4. Drive forward a bit and tighten the chain as needed by moving the hook to the next link.
You can use rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately) to increase the tension on the chains for a tighter fit.

Delivered fast, popped these on to get gamiliare with them and actyally tested them out on a road that was snow packed solid ice, my truck would not spin... i tried to make it, but the chains would not allow it in my situation. Yes chains ride rough.. real rough to be honest, but its better than not making it to your destination. They are heavy ( a big pro) feel like excellent quality and would recommend them to anyone who lives in a state that allows them.

Very easy installation (watch the video on the etrailer website) and excellent fit on a 2010 Tundra. I plan to visit Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana in the winter and most routes have a few mountain passes.

I have an ‘07 toyota camry tire size 215/60/16 and was able to install the chains on both of the drive tires in less than 7 mins by myself. I could've bought snow cables but based on my research, the camry is not low profile, plus the snow chains have more “bite” traction vs the cables! Etrailer is my go to place for auto accessories!!!!! Thanks!!!!!! Id give a 10 star, but 5 star was the max, extremely pleased with my experience with the purchase.

I HAVE BOUGHT 3 PAIR OF CHAINS FROM etrailer AND GOT FAST SHIPPING ON ALL 3 PAIR . 2 DAYS EXC SERVIRE. THE LAST PAIR I BOUGHT WAS FOR MY UTV. THESE CHAINS WERE NOT MADE FOR THE UTV . I NEW THIS BEFORE I BOUGHT THEM . Fantastic customer service. Ordered on a Friday afternoon, received by Tuesday, left to a snowy camp on Thursday. Chains did not list my tire size on the bag but included them on the website. Tried the sizing before I left home and they fit perfectly. Received almost 2 feet of snow and chained the fronts and backs in order to pull a 30' trailer up a nasty forest road. Chains were easy to put on and worked like a dream. Totally recommended, especially for the price.

I bought the chains after one winter morning when I could not get up a hill near my home. Living in Colorado one day can be a blizzard and the next sunny with snow melt off in a few days. Since my purchase I have not had the need to put on the chains but I know that they will fit and I am prepared. I gave an average rating for that reason.

Cam lock is a must. These are not your father's tire chains. I ordered these from etrailer because I knew I would get the right fit for my vehical and a quality product. Their customer service is excellent. Note: the fit of tire chains is everything. If it is to tight it will be nearly impossible to install. Too loose, you may throw a chain ripping out your brake lines, destroying your CV joints and other suspension parts. Plus having to find the chain some where back down the road if it is not wrapped around your suspension and then reinstall it on the road. So size is everything and please use chain tensions.

As with everything I get from etrailer my new snow chains arrived in an extremely timely manner. Had a few questions during the ordering process which were answered with a single, helpful, friendly, concise phone call. My vehicle is equipped with oversized tires so I had to use the tire size calculator to get the correct fit for the tires I am using. The tire calculator was right on. Perfect fit. Perfect wheel well clearance when mounted on front or back. I needed type S chains for my commuter vehicle to make the 5 mile trip to the main road on those 12" snow/ freezing rain mornings not only comfortable, and possible, but also as safe as possible. Long story short if you need snow chains of any size or style etrailer is you store.

Delivery was prompt No issues with order I ordered the chains in the event I needed them for 2019 hunting season due to having needed and not having chains resulting in accident in 2018 in . The chains and stretchers are as advertised. The processing was swift and the free shipping was much appreciated. The only downside was opening the chians bag and seeing the large "Made in China" tag attached. If I had seen this in the selling information, I probably would not have purchased them.

Traveled western mountain passed where chains can be required. Although I didn't encounter a chains required situation, it was safe having a set in the truck. Initial testing at home showed chains were relatively easy to install and tighten.

I got the chains on just before a big snowfall. I put them on my plow truck. (Silverdo with a 8’ meyers) what a difference. Plowed up and down my ice and snow covered 1/4 mike drive with lots of curves and hills. Couldnt be happier with the chains. It took me 2 hours to install them. Never had chains before. There is a learning curve. I expect it will take me 1/2 hour next time. The cam tensioner wrench is made of really soft steel and broke within 15 minutes. I would recommend spending the money for a better one. They about as much as a beer at a ballgame.

This is the 3rd set of chains I've bought from eTrailer, the first 2 sets were for my work truck and this most recent purchase was for my personal truck. I work as a delivery driver and bought the first set of chains because i don't have a lot of say which snowy/icy roads i deliver to. Being a work truck the first set of chains got abused a bit so when they finally failed it wasn't unexpected, but up until that point they were nothing short of perfect. So far the 2nd set for my work truck is going strong (with a bit more effort not to abuse them as much). This 3rd set is for my personal truck and more for peace-of-mind than anything else, i doubt they will see more than extremely rare use but i have no doubts that they will work as well as i expect them to. I have not yet taken advantage of the "customer service" from eTrailer since every single thing I've ordered has been received and worked exactly as expected. Communication regarding my order and shipping has always been excellent and even better than i expected. Shipping has been super fast and I've received my products days before i thought i would. ***the picture included isn't exactly the best but you can see the chains and conditions that day (that truck is about the worst vehicle for driving in winter conditions)... also those chains are a different size but they are the same chains.

I had some concerns about the chains fitting my vehicle, 2015 Ram 1500 with P275/60R20. I couldn't find any information from Dodge, nor my dealer, but Etrailer.com just happen to have a video showing 3 options for my exact truck. I tried them on to make sure they fit, and they fit pretty snug and look like they will do just fine. I haven't tested them in the snow, but I will write a follow up review once that happens.

The tire chains are tire chains. They work like they should and are great for the price. The real story here is etrailers customer service and shipping speed. I needed these last minute for a trip into the mountains and I placed the order late. However, they shipped these out the evening I placed the order and they came a day early. I would definitely recommend these guys to any one.

I have been happy with the use of this product. It fits right with the extra purchased suspenders. Only had to use them once but it was a good use. I pulled these out a few days ago looked them over and I was happy there wasn't any evidence of rust or serious flaw. After a year --I can honestly say that these chains did the job. I never review a product quickly unless I get a decent amount of use but after a year these are still like new. Sometimes chains go bad after one use, these did not, they are still good to go if needed.

I have not used it yet but I did install to see if it fit. It fits fine. It also seems sturdy enough to handle use. I will update this post after I try the tire chain.
