I appreciate the help customer service provided and the fast shipping but the product was a bad fit for my '17 vw gti, these cables/chains are too big for my 225 40 18 tires. Luckily I didn't need chains for my trip to lake Tahoe.

After ordering with etrailer, shipping was upgraded and the chains arrived in time for me to check out before heading into the mountains for some back country skiing. I haven't had to use these in adverse conditions; however, I know that if I need chains that I'm covered. Well done, etrailer.
The Titan Chain Diagonal Alloy Cable Snow Tire Chains fit my OEM tires as specifiied on eTrailer's web site. I called customer service today because my OEM tire size & the -1 tire size I plan to use for winter tires wasn't specified on the Titan Chain storage bag. About forty tire sizes were listed on the bag, so I called to be sure of the fitment for my tire sizes. The lady checked with their Titan liaison and said he assured her the chains would fit my tires; he told her that there wasn't enough room on the bag to list on the tire sizes the cable chains would fit. I later checked the fit of the cable chains on my OEM tires and they fit OK; the hardest part of mounting them was stretching the rubber tensioners. The construction of both the cable chains and carrying bag seem fine. We're having a relatively dry winter so far at Lake Tahoe, so I may not need to use them this season. If I do use them I'll update my review; four stars is as high as I'm comfortable with until I actually use them on snow or ice.

Tire chains are relatively easy to use, so you may not need instructions. Which is good as none whatsoever are included. Nor information re any warranty, if there is one. Neither does the link-to-pdf on etrailer's website help- it merely informs you that no information is available. The chains seem to be complete and of good quality, and a size listing is on the outside of the included bag.
Site is easy to use, ordering great, shipping fast (about one week) with a follow-up e-mail. Have not used the chains yet, however. So I cannot rate them at this time.

Haven't used tire cables yet … but … did install one to check the fit and look. And the thing fit perfectly on my 2019 F150 with 245/70r17 tires. Even look pretty good too! I especially like that the cables can be put on as the truck sets - no need to lay them out and back over them. And the carrying bag is nice - keeps everything together and able to be stored under a seat, in the bed, or wherever. I thought about getting chains with v-bars … but didn't think I needed anything that aggressive - so the tire cables ought to do just fine in deeper snow, packed snow and maybe even on ice.

These were mounted on a 2017 Fiat 500 Sport. Last February we drove from Quartzsite Arizona thru Santa Fe New Mexico to Denver, Boulder, and then spent 3 weeks in Aspen Colorado before heading west back to Quartzsite. In Aspen it snowed nearly every day and I put the chains on and removed the chains multiple times. By the third cycle I had the installation wired and could install them on the side of the road in a raging blizzard in less than 5-6 minutes - with gloves on. Great product that worked incredibly well. We could have never done the trip without them.

etrailer went above and beyond, getting me my tire chains in only days, when I was expecting it to take a week or more. I got an email immediately letting me know, which was a nice personal touch. The research and purchase process on the website was smooth and fast. Regarding the chains themselves, I think they are OK for the job. I have non standard size tires (265 35/20) and very little clearance on an Audi A7. So it was difficult to find anything that fit. I had already returned a pair before I bought these. I bought these chains more just as an emergency option since I live around and travel in the mountains. But I hope to never have to put them on. It was a quite a finicky process doing it just at home in my garage, so would be much more difficult out in the snow and cold. But overall they do fit OK and seem like they will do the job in an emergency.

Used on 2018 Lincoln Navigator. Experienced with chains and winter driving. Took about 5-7 minutes per tire to install in driveway. Used once so far in real conditions, took about 15 minutes total for two tires. Performed well in compact snow and ice. Pretty smooth ride as far as chains go, but I only went max of 40mph. 4 stars because of dismount. To take off, you need to have the chain as close to the finished install position or it can get hung up behind the tire when you are taking it off. Since chains slip a little during driving and braking, this meant getting one side in position, taking it off, then moving the vehicle to get the other chain in the correct position. Definitely helps if you have two people for this. I would recommend this product.

The chains are the easiest snow chains to install. Smart design and it actually comes with a storage bag that you can get them back into. Haven't actually had to use then yet, so can't comment on their effectiveness or durability. 5 stars to etrailer.com for their customer service.

The etrailer.com site was easy to navigate and match cables to tire size. The one question I submitted by e-mail was answered promptly. Online purchase was easy. Cables arrived "free shipping" in two days in good condition. I'll have to wait for the first opportunity to see if I am smart and coordinated enough to mount the cables on the tires and assess the fit, and probably longer still to try them in the first snow deep enough to warrant their use.
