These Titan Chain ladder-pattern chain a great winter weather chain for your truck. Rounded twist links provide traction in snow and on ice so you can keep working. Twist cross chain links offer a smoother ride than traditional square links.
If you know your tire size, you may think you won't need to test fit your new chains. But there are a lot of variables that can affect whether chains will fit your specific tires, including your tire type, the amount of air pressure in the tire, the amount of tread wear, and the tire manufacturer. You'll also need to know how much clearance is in your wheel well, which you can determine by measuring from your tire tread to the sidewall of the wheel well.
We recommend that you order chains as early in the season as possible to give yourself plenty of time to test fit the chains and reorder if needed. This way, you won't be stuck out in the cold later with snow chains that don't fit.
You can test fit these chains in your garage or driveway, but you'll want to wait until there's snow on the ground to actually drive with them. Likewise, if you're out in the snow and come across bare pavement, you'll want to pull over and remove the chains. Even low-profile chains can cause damage to the bare pavement, your garage floor, or your vehicle if they break from the wear of riding on a harsh surface.
Installing these chains is simple.
1. Lay out the chains on the ground to make sure there are no twists or kinks in them.
2. Drape the chains over the tire.
3. On the back of the tire, pull the chain tight and hook the ends together. Repeat this on the side chain on the front of the tire, then clamp the lever to fasten extra chain links and keep them from flapping as you drive.
4. Insert the included tool into the cam and twist to tighten the sidewall chain. Twist as many cams as it takes to get a tight fit.
5. Drive forward and recheck tension. Tighten any loose cams.
Rubber adjusters (sold separately) can be used to help give you a tight fit. Make sure the hooks on the adjusters face away from your tire so your wheels don't get scratched.
Quick Tips:
To choose the right snow chain, you must match your tire size. Those measurements can be found on the side of your tire.

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe we're going to be installing the Titan Snow Tire chains with twisted links and cams, part number TC22110CAM.These tire chains are going to give you excellent traction in deep snow and adequate traction on ice. The ladder pattern design is great for starting and stopping, as it's parallel with the road to dig in deep for a wide surface area. The twisted link shape is going to give you excellent traction but it's going to be quieter when compared to square link designs. The built in cam adjusters will take out slack and increase tension on your tire chains to hold them on.Now it is always recommend to use a rubber or other type of chain adjuster for that extra security to keep your chains tight and from flying off. Something like this can be picked up on our website with part number TCMA2.These chains have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour and come inside of a canvas bag that can be reused to store your chains in your vehicle. It comes in a quantity of two.Now I'll show you how to get these on.We're going to be putting our tire chains on tire size P2-35-65-17. These chains do fit other sizes but for the particular vehicle that's what we have on here.
We're going to be installing it on our front tire because this vehicle's drive axle is the front axle. Now before we install our chains, we want to lay them out so we can make sure there is no damaged, bent, or broken links. When you've got it laid you want to make sure the cams are facing towards you and away from the vehicle and the open hooks are facing up.Now that you've inspected your chains and there is no problems, go ahead and lift it over the tire. Try to get it as centered as you can. Now we're going to hook the back first. You take the hook on one side and hook it into the furthest chain we can on this side and can adjust it later if it's too tight to hook the front. Now back on our front side, pull all the slack out.
You'll take your cam hook here, go through the tightest chain you can, run the cam hook through it, fold it back, and hook it with the loop here. Now we can adjust out our slack with our cam tool. You'll start at the back of the tire using your included cam tool and twist it around. Now go around each cam until it's tight. If you get to the last cam and you can't tighten it anymore, that means that you no longer need to adjust it. They are on tight enough. Now we'll repeat this process on the other side. That completes our installation of Titan Snow Tire chain with twisted links and cams on our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe.
