Note: Tie-downs must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the tie-downs being used. For example, if you are using tie-downs with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 tie-downs to safely secure that load.
A Quick Fist adjustable tie-down belt is perfect for securing propane tanks, water coolers, jerry cans, or other large, bulky items and canisters. The mounting posts for this tie-down belt install permanently on your vehicle or trailer or on the wall in your garage or shed. This way you will already have anchor points in place when you're ready to secure the belt around your gear. Plus the belt's durable rubber construction is ideal for outdoor use.
Similar to a belt that you wear around your waist, the Quick Fist tie-down belt can be adjusted so you can fasten it snuggly around cargo up to 38" in diameter. Simply position your cargo between the mounting posts and secure the belt to the hook at the end of one of the mounting posts. Then wrap the strap tightly around your cargo and secure the end of the belt to the hook on the end of the other mounting post. The hooks on each mounting post help to keep the belt from detaching so you can have peace of mind that your equipment is secure. For taller, top-heavy equipment such as 30-lb propane tanks and 10-gallon water containers, use 2 individual tie-down belts to keep items stable and in an upright position.
Need to secure an extremely wide item or an item with a large diameter? No problem. A connector piece is included so you can easily connect the belt to a second belt (sold separately) to create a single, long belt.
To connect 2 belts together, simply connect the first belt to one side of the connector and a second belt to the other side to create 1 long tie-down.
The Quick Fist tie-down belt is made of strong, durable rubber that withstands the elements. This all-rubber belt has no metal parts that will corrode so you can drive on salt-treated roads without worry. The UV-resistant rubber won't fade or crack from exposure to sun, and it has an operating temperature range from -60 F to 140 F. The shock-absorbing rubber also protects your stuff from scratches and scuffs.

Durable rubber, belt-style tie-down adjusts to tightly secure items like water coolers and propane tanks for storage and transport. Plastic mounting posts permanently install on your vehicle, trailer, garage wall, or any flat surface. 150 lbs WLL.The rubber tie down belts worked great for the propane tank for my camper. The problem was that the camper came with the tank almost pertinently locked down. Now with the rubber tie downs I can easily take off the tank to get refilled without taking the whole rig to get the tank filled. Awesome!
Straps are strong and can be used to secure many different items around the house, camping and what ever your need may be.
The straps are very strong and appear to be of a high quality material. They have a small amount of stretch to them so you can reach the next hole in the strap to insure your items are strapped in tightly. The mounting posts are easy to install and the strap connects easily with them. The strap connector is a bit difficult to use. It was a little harder than I expected to connect two straps together. The connector spacing is slightly different from the hole spacing. The gap between the connector base and the lip is pretty much the same as the thickness of the strap. This makes it a little hard for the strap to actually fit up under the lip. This is really a minor issue as you won't be connecting and disconnecting straps all the time. Also, flexing and bending the straps to relax them a bit prior to connecting helped a bunch. All in all, I think it is a quality product that I would recommend.
I have been looking for a replacement for the strap that holds my propane tank in my RV. One of the originals had broken and the other one wants to slice your finger off every time you release the catch. I just installed this this morning and it is just what I needed. As soon as I return from my trip I will order another one for the other side of the trailer. It was very easy to install.
I was very impressed with simplicity and durability of this product. I was able to secure my Jerry can without the big metal brackets normally used.
It was all I hoped it would be, it worked out great.
