Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Erickson round D ring tie down anchor. This is a surface mount and it's going to have a max capacity of 1,200 pounds. This is going to be a really handy mount to have in your enclosed trailer to serve as a tie down point either again in your enclosed trailer or your truck bed or wherever you need it to be. It is going to be a round tie down point and it does have that D ring shape to attach to. It's made of a durable steel construction with a zinc finish to help resist any rust or corrosion. That D ring does fold flat whenever you're not using it so it's going to be pretty low profile.
The edge is going to be just over a quarter of an inch to the top of the attachment for the D ring it's about 5/16 of an inch. Again, it's going to be pretty flat so you don't have to worry about it sticking up too much and causing a tripping hazard.Overall it's going to be about 4-1/4 in diameter, 4-1/4 of an inch. Again, the height on that is going to be just over a quarter of an inch or about 5/16. The anchor ring itself, the outer dimensions at its widest point is going to be 2-1/2 and from the top of the ring to where it mounts, it's going to be about 1-11/16. The inner dimensions, it's going to be about 1-3/4 of an inch from inside edge to inside edge and then the inner dimension is going to be 1-3/16 of an inch.
Again, this does have a max load capacity of 1,200 pounds or 1,200 pounds. It's just going to be easy bolt on installation. Does not come with the hardware so you will have to provide that on your own. Those mounting holes, the holes themselves are going to be a quarter of an inch in diameter and the distance between them is going to be about 1-1/4 of an inch. That's going to do it for our look at the Erickson round D ring tie down anchor..

Overall happy with the product. I might have overloaded anchor while securing a small car (MG midget) in my trailer. Now one anchor D ring will not flip up freely. Have to pry it up.
Very lightweight but will serve their purpose in my application.
Put a new deck on my trailer. All the hardware works great.
