Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the CargoSmart D-Ring Tie Down Anchor. This D-Ring adds an extra anchor point for your trailer, truck or van. It's a simple bolt on installation. Mounting hardware not included. It's made from durable steel with protective finishing to keep it safe from rust and corrosion. The usable space side to side, inner edge to inner edge is an inch and a half.
From the top of the bracket to the bottom of the D-ring, straight up and down is one and one 16th. The D-Ring has a diameter of a quarter inch.This right here is our mounting bracket. The mount holds on the unit are separated apart from one another on center by about an inch and a quarter. And then the overall length of the bracket is two and a quarter. Overall width is an inch and a quarter.
It has a safe working load limit of 400 pounds with a maximum load or brake strength rating of 1200 pounds. Perfect for securing push mowers, tillers, and other lightweight cargo.Threw the D rings away and used the brackets to repair an igloo 162 qt cooler handle. The hole alignment is perfect.
The ordering process and product information on the etrailer website is great. I can see the items I want to buy and watch an installation video on many for many of the products the sell.
Put multiples of these D-Rings in my new trailer. They worked fantastic and am very happy with them
