Hi there safety conscious haulers. Today we're going to be taking a look at CargoSmarts Eye Bolt Tie-Down Anchors. These come as a pack of two, so they have one for each side. You can pick up more for each corner of your trailer or whatever you need.These light duty anchors are great for your truck beds, your trailer's, even your campers and RVs, really anywhere that you need a secure tie-down for any of your items that you keep with you all the time, or just stuff that you're hauling around temporarily. We're using these just to keep down some pallets that we're going to haul off. Since it is a light duty anchor, it has a safe working load limit of 466 pounds, and a maximum break strength of 1400 pounds, so you could use it for something heavier than our pallets here, like a small lawn mower or a tiller, maybe you need to take it over and do some work at a friend's house.

You can easily bring those with you, or take them on the job site.They mount through any hole that you want to drill, or preexisting hole that may exist on your vehicle. It just needs to be large enough to accommodate the five eighths inch diameter bolt. All the hardware you need to get it installed onto your hole comes with it, you have the large washer for the top side, and then a lock washer and nut for the bottom side to keep it securely in place. With a two and a half inch long shank, we can install our bolt through various thicknesses of metal, the thicker our metal is, the stronger our tie down is going to be in this location.All of our hooks can attach to the seven eighths inch inner diameter of our eyelet, and it's going to be a strong durable hook that'll last a long time due to its solid forged steel construction with a zinc coating to protect it against the elements, so you don't have to worry about rust or corrosion.You can orient these however you like. I've got the eyelets currently going across since that's the way I'm pulling the load.

Once you tighten it down, it'll stay in place. You could easily loosen the bolt up and adjust it though if you need to accommodate for various size loads you have in the back. We're using etrailer's ratchet straps to hold down our cargo here, so if you need some ratchet straps as well, you can go ahead and add those to your cart so you're prepared to haul any of your loads.
