Note: Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the cargo smart heavy duty bolt on swiveling and rotating hook with the gate and as a four thousand pound safe working load limit. Now, this heavy duty hook will add an extra anchor point for your trailer, truck, or van. You can easily hook your tie downs with the open gated hook right here. You can see it has a spring loaded gate. You put your tie down in there, release it, and that spring loaded gate will keep your tie down connected to the hook.If you notice, the hook does swivel, 360 degrees, and it will rotate a 180 degrees. It is a simple bolt on installation.
Now the mounting hardware is not included. Give you a few measurements on this. The overall length on this, end to end, is right at six and a half inches long. Length on it is right at three and a half inches wide. And the total height from the bottom to the very top at the highest point, it's gonna be right at three and a half inches tall. Now the mounting hole diameter is gonna be three eighths of an inch.
The distance on the mounting hole, center to center, this way, is gonna be right at two and one eighths inches. And this way, center to center, is gonna be right at five and one eighths inches. Now, we mentioned the safe working load limit on this is four thousand pounds, the maximum load or brake strength is 12,000 pounds. This is for a quantity of one hook. Now, one note I do wanna mention is, the tie down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. In other words, the weight of the secured cargo, must not exceed the combined working load limit of the anchors that are being used.
For example, if you're using anchors that have a working load limit of a hundred pounds each, to tie down a load weighing four hundred pounds, then you're gonna need at least four anchors to safely secure that load. It is always recommended that you use anchors in pairs. That should do it for the review on the cargo smart heavy duty bolt on swiveling and rotating hook with the gate, and a four thousand pound working load limit.
