Carbon steel construction is heavy-duty.Solid, thick brackets are a welcome replacement to the rusted Oriental sheet metal they are replacing. Installation note - To prevent metal-to-metal interaction, use double-faced body moulding tape. It also helps installation as they can be held in place while drilling mounting screws. The square cut is designed for carriage bolts. I used #10 self drilling stainless screws and stainless fender washers. Hopefully that will keep the rust in abeyance here in Chicago!
Amazing that no one local carries these here in Raleigh NC. I spent almost a week trying to find vertical stake brackets for my utility trailer. I found etrailer on line, called & 10 minutes later the order for 8 was complete.
