Lippert On-the-Go Ladder

FITS OEM LADDER RECEIVERS - Unlike other permanently mounted exterior ladders, this ladder will work with your existing, factory-equipped Lippert ladder receiver. No drilling or additional tools are needed! Just simply hook the integrated mounting brackets onto your OEM receiver and telescope the ladder out - it's that easy!

Lippert On-the-Go Ladder

TELESCOPES OUT - If you need to check your RV AC on a hot day or clear some branches off your roof, this telescoping ladder will come in handy! Just extend the rungs one by one either from the top or the bottom and set the ladder out at an angle. If you have a shorter RV and don't need to use the entire length of the ladder, you can just extend the rungs that you'll need. When you're done, retract it from the bottom, but watch your fingers - those rungs snap back fast!

Lippert On-the-Go Ladder

EASY TO STORE - When you're done working on your RV roof, simply retract the ladder down to a compact size and wrap the Velcro strap around the rungs. You can conveniently grip onto the molded handle and carry the ladder over to your cargo compartment for storage.

I bought this ladder about a yr. ago and glad I did. It replaced a six foot step ladder I straped to my rear roof ladder. I now can keep the collapsing unit in my trunk. It's tall enough to get on the roof of my fifth wheel. Also very sturdy. I would buy again.

The collapsing ladder works very well. It fits in my fifth wheel muck better than the 6 ft. stepladder I used previously.

Great ladder for RV use because it's light weight and takes up very little room

by:

See what our Experts say about this Lippert Telescoping Ladder

  • Will The Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder Work On 2020 Forest River Mini Lite Travel Trailer?
The Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder # LC64HD can still be used on your 2020 Forest River Mini Lite as long as the ladder makes contact with to top of your trailer. This ladder when fully extended is 12'6" tall and it appears your overall height is between 10'3" to 10'11" so you should have no issues.

  • Are Mounting Brackets Available For The Lippert Telescoping Ladders
I spoke with Lippert about the mounting brackets for the Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder # LC64HD and found out that they are only sold as an OEM part. This means that only the motorhome/trailer manufacturer is able to order them so you wouldn't be able to get them aftermarket through anyone else. Going that route would most likely cost you quite a bit so you could try reaching out to a local fabricator to build you the mounting brackets since there's nothing really special to them.

  • Will Telesteps Ladder Standoff and Tool Tray # TE89FR Fit on Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder?
The Telesteps Ladder Standoff and Tool Tray # TE89FR is specifically designed to fit on Telesteps ladders like # TE44FR which have the oval vertical uprights. The uprights on the Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder # LC64HD are round and will not allow for the

  • Are Replacement Brake Pads Available For A 2020 Grand Design Solitude
Brake assemblies have left and right hand orientations so it'd important to ensure you're choosing the correct parts for your assemblies. We do offer the BP04-171 with part # K71-673, but we don't currently offer the BP04-172. The brake pad itself isn't really offered so you'd have to replace the entire brake shoe in both assemblies, which is a giant pain if you don't have the right tools and experience so I highly recommend just replacing the entire assembly and saving yourself a ton of...

  • How To Prevent Scratches When Using Lippert On-The-Go Angled Telescopic Ladder
I recommend using foam tubular pipe insulation on the top rung of your Lippert On-The-Go Angled Telescopic Ladder, # LC64HD if you are concerned with possible damage/scratches to your motorhome. The rung is 1-1/2" so you will want to purchase something per this measurement.

  • What Height Ladder Is Needed For a Valeigh Beacon 34RLB 5th Wheel
From what I could find on your Valeigh Beacon 34RLB 5th wheel it is 13'1" tall (13.08). The Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder # LC64HD you were looking at is only 12-1/2' tall, so it would not be tall enough to reach the top of your 5th wheel. That is the only Lippert On-The-Go ladder that we currently have available. However, we do have the Telesteps Telescopic Ladder # TE74FR which is of a similar style but has a height of 14-1/2' extended which is enough to reach the top of your 5th wheel.

  • Does Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder Have Different Bracket Mounting Locations
Hey Bernard, thanks for reaching out! The Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder # LC64HD does have the mounting brackets 2 rungs below the top of the ladder, but I do see the case you're making about wanting to lower the brackets even more to make it more comfortable to get back on the ladder from your roof. I'm not seeing anything in the literature about being able to move the brackets to a different rung, and when I reached out to Lippert about it I still haven't received a response from...

  • Is The Lippert Telescoping Ladder Receiver Bracket Sold Separately
Hey Dennis, The bracket the mounts to the trailer wall would need to be installed at the factory and unfortunately isn't an option aftermarket. These are relatively new so I'm assuming after enough people complain to Lippert they'll start offering them separately. You can still use the ladder # LC64HD even if you don't have this bracket, you'll just want to make sure the ladder is tall enough to extend past the roof and maybe have an extra person holding the ladder to ensure it doesn't...

  • How Much Capacity Does the Lippert Ladder Receiver Have?
The same 330 lbs but only if you attach it to the Lippert Ladder Receiver. The brackets on the Lippert On-The-Go Telescopic Ladder item # LC64HD are specifically designed to be compatible with this system so you don't have to lean the ladder on the side of your RV. It offers more lateral stability with the same capacity.
