Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Putco 48" long universal blade LED tailgate light bar for mid-sized trucks. Now, this light bar will fit in any brands of mid-sized trucks like the Chevy Colorado or the GMC Canyon and many others. What I would recommend is go to the product page of this part, and at the bottom of the page it will list many of the mid-sized trucks it will work on.Now, this is a tailgate light bar which will enhance safety by providing additional brake, tail, turn and back up lights that will coordinate with the lights on your vehicle. The tail light, the bar will shine totally red. The brake light, the red light will brighten. Turn signal light, the amber light will flash on either side, depending on which turn signal is flashing, and on the back up light, the bar will shine all white.It does use COB, which is chip on board LED technology.

It creates a bright, solid panel of light. They do use multiple LED chips which are mounted close together on a small surface area for uniform high intensity light similar to that on a lighting panel. It does have a tinted polycarbonate housing and it is waterproof construction. It has an IP69K rating for industry standard protection against dust and moisture, and it's a very simple installation. It does include the 3M adhesive tape and the mounting brackets, which can be used to clear any obstructions that might interfere with the tailgate bar.It's also nice it's a plug and play.

It's a four way flat connector here that'll plug into your vehicle's trail connector. Now, they do have a separate white wire that must be hard wired into your reverse lights to use the backup light function.Specs on this is for the quantity of one light strip, includes everything here on the table, even a nice set of detailed instructions. The dimension on it is 48" long, 5/8" tall x about 3/8" deep. Now, what I am going to do is plug this into a four way and sort of demonstrate the .. show you how bright the light is, and then I'll turn off the overhead lights to show you what it looks like in the dark.So, here's our four way.

We're going to go ahead and plug it in. Since we got that all plugged in, I'm going to go ahead and turn on the power. Once we have the power on, you can see, there's your tail light. We'll go ahead and turn off the overhead light. You can see how bright it is.

That's when your tail lights are on. And then when we hit your brakes, you can see there's your brake light. It gets brighter red. And then just to show you, if you want to do the turn signal, and if we want to do the other side, there's your turn signal and they're amber color. And then the last one, we'll take our white wire for the reverse, so if you go into reverse, and you'll see what happens. There's your reverse back up light. Total white line.And we'll go ahead and turn off our power, turn back on our overhead lights.
