Raw Lumens vs. Effective Lumens vs Stable Lumens
Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 600 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 199 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 75 lumens.

Fit into the old Peterson PM 306-25A socket perfectly, replacing a 2057 incandescent bulb that was there previously (both of the light fixture's dual filaments are wired together to act in tandem, and only as a turn signal - go figure - but perhaps to be marginally brighter together). LED bulb is much brighter, and I'll assume lower current draw (did not actually measure this). "Garage test" worked fine, we'll know how they take to moisture and vibration in a few months. It should be noted that despite LED bulbs's reputation for being "directional", this bulb lit up rearward AND to the side satisfactorily. Cannot comment if the difference in brightness between the two "filaments" offers sufficient differentiation between low and high setting in actual use, as mine light up simultaneously, as wired.

The base of the bulb is the proper replacement for a 194 bulb, but youll want to refer to the dimensions of the bulb shown in the description above to ensure it will fit in the lamp housing and allow the lens to be reinstalled. Weve provided a photo above.

Planned to use these in a surface mount license plate light fixture. Much longer and thicker at the light end than the existing 193 bulb - it was obvious this one would not fit due to clearance issues. Not worth the time/effort/shipping cost to return for refund, so will hang onto them for potential future applications.

I wanted to replace the old bulbs in my trailer but everywhere I looked they were going to cost me $xx or more per pair. I found etrailer while looking on line for trailer parts and was very surprised how affordable the bulbs were. I ordered all the bulbs in the trailer for less than half the cost I was expecting. They arrived yesterday and I put them in. Wow, what a difference. Way better light output, much less battery power being used. All for a fraction of the cost. And the quality of the bulbs was all I had hoped it would be. I was talking to one of my neighbors about your web site and it turns out he has been an etrailer.com customer for a while. On 18 October 2021, I purchased 2 packs of model 1157 LED bulbs (ARC93FR). As soon as they arrived, I replaced the existing incandescent brake/turn signal bulbs on my Coachmen travel trailer with these LED bulbs. When I hooked up the travel trailer to my truck and turned on the lights, the improvement was quite noticeable. The ARC93FR LEDs were much brighter – even in the afternoon sunlight. Quite pleased. Money well spent. Another great product from etrailer.com.

This LED replacement completely changed the lighting in my RV for the better. I put them in the main living area and work area and you no longer feel like you are living by flashlight. The only drawback to the replacement bulb is it is slightly wider than glass bulbs and it takes significantly more pressure to insert them. However, they will go in without breaking the fixture. The picture shows the clear difference with both type bulbs in a single fixture.

You advertise the bulbs as having 600 lumens. The manufacturers packaging states 450 lumens. The bulbs are 75% brighter than what they are replacing, so I am satisfied with the purchase, but you should correct the information on your web site. Otherwise a great transaction.

These are great bulbs that produce a very white bright light. I would guess they produce twice the light as a normal incandescent bulb.

I have been having great difficulty finding a short, high lumen, wedge base LED bulb to fit our RV ceiling light fixtures (which have 2 bulbs in one compartment). These have worked... although I wish they were 1000 lumen.

- Can 1157 Incandescent Bulbs In a Trailer Tail Light Be Replaced With LEDsIn general, yes, most incandescent bulbs can be swapped out for an LED. In order to do this you need to know the bulb type such as 1157. That said, when replacing incandescents with LEDs you must use the same color bulb as the lens in order for the light to show through properly. For example, if you were replacing a tail light bulb behind a red lens then you would need to use part # ARC63FR.

Please note, you must use an LED that is the same color as the lens in order for the color to show properly, if you simply use a white bulb under a red lens it will appear pink. All of our LED options are linked and they are slightly bigger. What you can do is use an LED bulb in an incandescent fixture. For example, the Peterson Trailer Tail Light - Stop, Turn, Tail - Incandescent - Round - Red Lens - Passenger Side # 431800 in the attached video (with the 4 inch round tube) uses 1157 bulb so you can use # ARC63FR for an LED.

These are red which is the correct color. When going to an LED light you have to match the color of the light to the lens color otherwise the red will look like pink.
