Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. Raw lumens represent the number of lumens that the manufacturer claims the LEDs are capable of producing. It does not include the light's drive method or the amount of light lost from the lens or reflector. Effective lumens take these factors into account and represent the number of lumens that are actually produced by the complete light assembly, not just the amount of light that the diodes are capable of producing. Stable lumens builds off the idea of effective lumens by measuring the amount of light produced after 30 minutes of usage, or once the diodes have reached their average operating temperature. These bulbs have a 600 raw lumen capacity per bulb and produce 199 effective lumens per bulb. The stable lumen capacity per bulb is 75 lumens.

Today on our 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe, we're gonna be taking a look at the ARC LED tail lights. This is what they looked like before, and this is what it looks like after. It's definitely a lot brighter and it is definitely an upgrade from some of the other ones. So the nice thing about upgrading to LEDs, is they're going to last a lot longer than some of the incandescent bulbs, they're actually gonna draw a little bit less. So this one is a red bold, so it's perfect for your tail lights, and it's gonna have a temperature of 1000K, so that this means what color it is. So this is red and it really is a little bit brighter, than the white bulbs that we're there in there before.
Just because over time, when cars get a little bit older, everything starts to kind of fade away, it starts to turn a little like orange-ish. So with this, you can kind of compensate for your older vehicle tail lights, by getting those red LED on the inside. The nice thing about the LEDs on the inside is they're gonna have 360 degrees. So what that means is we're gonna have some diodes on the front, we're gonna have diodes all the way around the whole entire outside. So about 23 diodes is gonna give us about 600 raw lumens.
So these are definitely a lot brighter than the ones that I had before. These are gonna draw about 6.5 watts and about 0.65 amps. So it is gonna be a little bit more efficient than the incandescent bulbs, which I just like that. If you replace every single bulb on your vehicle with LEDs, your electrical assistance is gonna be under a lot less load than before. And with these they're also brighter, so less load for more performance, it kind of just seems like a no brainer.
These are gonna come in a pack of two, so for me all I had to do is grab one pack to get both my right and left tail light on there, so just make sure you grab as many as you need, and also make sure you put your vehicle in our fit guide and that's just gonna let our website do the work for you, so everything you see is gonna fit your vehicle. Just to show you what I'm replacing it with, this is the old, old bulb and these are the new ones. One they look cooler, but two, we are gonna have different types of colors. So what I'm gonna do since we have a tail light, we have our reverse lights and our blinkers, I'm gonna put the white ones in my reverse lights, and we actually have an amber set as well, the same exact thing, that's gonna go up top. So might as well do all three of them, because why not It really took me maybe four minutes to do both sides.
So if you wanna see how quick the process is, stick around we're gonna show you. First thing we wanna do is remove the bulb we're replacing. Every car is gonna be different, but on my 2001 Tahoe, all you have to do is take these two screws out of the Phillips, and once we get this all done, there's another one up top to take out as well. Once that's done, you just wanna remove your tail light, and we're gonna be doing the red one. So we're gonna go on the bottom. And again everything's gonna be a little different with my press tavern, pull it out like this. Be careful when pulling these out. If you don't want to push too much pressure on it, cause it will shatter and you will need a bunch of band-aids. So you should pull this out, take the new one, get it seated in there. Make sure it snaps into place. Go ahead and snap this back in. And before I go ahead and screw this back in, I'm going to put it into place and now we can just test and make sure that it's going to work. And with the flip of a switch, they work. And once they're both installed, then everything's all bolted back into place. We're pretty much good. And that's about it for our look at the arc led taillight, bolts..

I wanted to replace the old bulbs in my trailer but everywhere I looked they were going to cost me $xx or more per pair. I found etrailer while looking on line for trailer parts and was very surprised how affordable the bulbs were. I ordered all the bulbs in the trailer for less than half the cost I was expecting. On 18 October 2021, I purchased 4 packs of model 194 LED bulbs (ARC64FR). As soon as they arrived, I replaced the existing incandescent marker light bulbs on my Coachmen travel trailer with these LED bulbs. When I hooked up the travel trailer to my truck and turned on the lights, the improvement was quite noticeable. The ARC64FR LEDs were much brighter – even in the afternoon sunlight. Quite pleased. These are great bulbs that produce a very white bright light. I would guess they produce twice the light as a normal incandescent bulb.

I have been having great difficulty finding a short, high lumen, wedge base LED bulb to fit our RV ceiling light fixtures (which have 2 bulbs in one compartment). These have worked... although I wish they were 1000 lumen.

This LED replacement completely changed the lighting in my RV for the better. I put them in the main living area and work area and you no longer feel like you are living by flashlight. The only drawback to the replacement bulb is it is slightly wider than glass bulbs and it takes significantly more pressure to insert them. However, they will go in without breaking the fixture. The picture shows the clear difference with both type bulbs in a single fixture.
