While on the road, it is very important to regularly maintain your tires and make sure they're inflated correctly. If your tires are underinflated or overinflated, they'll develop irregular tread wear and become prone to overheating and blowing out. The TireMinder i10 TPMS helps protect your investment and keep your family safe by monitoring your tires and alerting you of any signs of danger before disaster strikes.

4 Waterproof Sensors with Bluetooth

TireMinder i10 TPMS Waterproof Sensors

This TPMS includes 4 sensors that let you individually monitor each tire on your application for changes in pressure and temperature. These brass sensors are able to work on rubber, steel, chrome, or nickel valve stems. Every 6 seconds, they will check the pressure and temperature again, and use Bluetooth to send that information directly to the monitor. These durable sensors are waterproof, which means that they can be used on boat trailers and other marine applications.

Simple Setup with Color LCD Monitor

The color LCD monitor will provide you with visual and audible cues to warn you of dangerous changes in tire pressure and temperature, as well as alert you of changes with the monitor battery, sensor battery, and sensor signal. Before you begin setup, make sure the monitor has been charged and the repeater and sensor batteries have been installed.

TireMinder i10 TPMS Waterproof Sensors

Select your RV or trailer configuration or the locations of the tires you want to monitor. Then select one tire location, install a sensor on the corresponding tire on your RV or trailer, and the current PSI will automatically appear on the screen. With the purchase of additional sensors (sold separately), you can monitor up to 20 tires, which is perfect for a fleet. This system can display up to 10 tires at a time, alternating between the tires of the "front" or drivable application and the tires of the "rear" or towable application. Sensors can be added, moved, deleted, or replaced at any point, even after initial installation.

You can set the tire pressure in psi, Bar, and KPa. If you choose psi, you can set the tire pressure anywhere from 0 psi to 199 psi. As for the temperature, you're able to switch between degrees F and degrees C, and the system will alert you if the temperature exceeds 167 degrees F. With the app, you are also able to disconnect and reconnect to different vehicles, RVs, or trailers. This is useful for those who switch between different applications, such as a Class A motorhome who sometimes tows a car. It also can store pressure and temperature information for up to 4 vehicles, or 40 tires.

Bluetooth Repeater Boosts Signal

TireMinder i10 TPMS Bluetooth Repeater

This Bluetooth repeater helps improve signal strength and range of the sensors, especially for longer RVs, trailers, and other applications. It ensures that the link from the sensors to the monitor is strong and continuous.

Easy Installation

TireMinder i10 TPMS Installation

This TPMS system includes 8 batteries, 4 locking nuts, 4 O-rings, zip ties, a wrench, and an adhesive. Once the batteries have been inserted and covers have been re-installed, remove the cap of your valve stems, thread the locking nuts onto the valve stems, and install the sensors. Lastly, secure the locknuts against the sensors with the wrench.

The weatherproof and dustproof Bluetooth repeater can be installed anywhere on the exterior of your RV or trailer between the rear axle and king pin. The optimal mounting location for a towable camper is toward the front whereas the optimal mounting location for a drivable RV is toward the rear. it is not recommended to install the repeater inside your vehicle, as you might experience signal blockage. Use either the adhesive (included) or hardware (not included) to attach the repeater and wire it to a power supply line. In order to reduce vibration, make sure it's securely mounted. Then connect the black wire to ground, and the red wire to power. Zip-ties are included to fasten the booster and wires to your RV or trailer.

Video Transcript for Review of TireMinder RV - Trailer - Tire Pressure Monitoring System TPMS - TM89FR

Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the TireMinder I10 tire pressure monitoring system for your RVs. This tire pressure monitoring system is going to monitor the pressure and the temperature level of the tires on your RV, motor home, fifth wheel, motorcoach or trailer. These sensors are going to attach to the valve stems on your tires. They're very easy to just screw on there and they will detect any anomaly in the temperature or pressure of the tire. If there is such an anomaly, it will send a wirelessly transmitted alert to your digital monitor.

The monitor then will emit an audible alert to notify you of the issue and display the details regarding the anomaly on the screen there. We also include a signal booster to help provide a stronger transmission from your sensors to your monitor and to help eliminate any electronic interference from other wireless systems that may be nearby. Our monitor does have a large three and a quarter inch LCD screen, so it's going to be very easy to see those visual alerts. They will show up in red and yellow, so it's going to be a much easier to read those alerts very quickly so we're not too distracted, our eyes aren't off the road for too long. The alerts are going to let us know of anything like a blowout or a significant pressure change in our tires. They're also going to report if the tire temperature exceeds 167 degrees.

It's also available to . you can pull this monitor out, switch it from one vehicle to another, swap it in between your vehicles. It will memorize the sensors that you have on different trailers and different things, so you can use the one monitor for multiple sensors. The system is capable of handling up to 40 sensors so you can add on to this system, but of course it only comes with the four for this kit. Our monitor is also going to attach to either our dashboard or our windshield with a suction cup here. Our mount is very flexible so we can get it in just the right position that we need so that we can see any of the alerts that pop up.

Now our sensors are very precise. They're accurate to about one PSI, so they're going to give us lots of confidence there. They do provide run checks every six seconds and then will send that wirelessly to the monitor if there is an alert. The early detection setting is updated every four minutes and so again we're going to have a pretty much live feed of everything that's going on with our tires so that we can have greater peace of mind to make sure that nothing is a heating up. If we have a brake caliper stuck or something like that or if the tire pressure is going down dramatically, we can be alerted to that before we have issues that would be more difficult to repair. So a great system for that.

They do include some batteries for your sensors. They're not proprietary so once you are done with the ones that they send you, you can easily pick these up. Just a three volt battery so it can come at most supermarkets and things like that so it's not going to be difficult to keep those sensors powered up.Our Rhino Booster is going to strengthen our signal so if we have an extended trailer or something and our wheels are pretty far away from our cab where our monitor's going to be, this is going to boost the signal so that we're always getting that strong connection in between there, but it's also going to help cut through any of the other wireless signals out there. So as we're driving down the road, who knows how many wireless signals are going to be around us in other vehicles. Lots of devices are using that wireless technology these days, so this is going to help cut through that so that we are always getting that constant feed. And that's really the reason that this is mandatory for all setups, even if you don't have a long setup, they're going to want you to install that for that wireless cutting technology in there. This is waterproof, but you still want to make sure that when you're installing this it is going to be in a protected area on the underside of your vehicle to make sure that you're not going to have any sort of corrosion or anything like that. Now this is very easy to get installed, basically all you have to do is screw these down onto your tire stems. But before you install them you do want to make sure that your tires are inflated to the pressure level that is specified by your vehicle or trailer's manufacturer and that your tires are cool. Those are going to be the baselines for determining how high or low pressure is monitored so that you want to make sure that you have those where you want them to be for your baseline. One thing I will note is they come with these transmitter locks, basically just nuts that you would first thread onto your stem, then you thread on your sensor and then backthread these until they're tight. These are a theft deterrent, but they're kind of a hassle, maybe more hassle than they're worth so these are not required to be installed. All you really need is the sensor, but they do include those as a security option for you. Another thing to be mindful of is your valve stem's metallic components. There are several different kinds of tire valve stems out there so it is important to make sure that your sensor is going to work with your valve stem. If you get a pairing of the wrong kinds of metals, it could lead to galvanic corrosion and you don't want that because that could lock up the sensor onto your valve stem and you'd have to potentially replace the valve stem or maybe even the whole wheel. So obviously we don't want that, so we want to make sure that we are getting the right setup for our tires. So if your vehicle tires have either a rubber or a metal valve stem, which is going to be most of your RVs, motor homes, fifth wheels and trailers, those are all probably going to have the rubber stem with a brass valve core or a metal stem with steel, chrome or nickel valve cores. All of those are going to work with our brass sensors here. We do have an aluminum sensor that is sold separately. You can find that using the part number that you see on the screen there and that's mostly going to be for if you're towing a car or a light truck that's got aluminum valve stems. So aluminum with aluminum, the brass will pretty much work with everything else. When you're looking at the options for you, these are highly recommended for your metal valance stems. If your wheel has a rubber valve stem it will still work, but you probably have to check those more frequently just because that rubber composition . and when I say rubber I mean the rubber is connecting the valve to the wheel rather than having a metal connection there. Those can just get worn down over time because they're exposed to the elements like road salt, sun and those other things. So with the increased weight of the sensors, you do want to be mindful of that and check those pretty frequently to make sure that they're still in good operating condition. This kit does come with a three year limited warranty, so it's nice to know that they stand behind their product. It should do a good job for you in helping give you greater peace of mind to know that your tires are in good operating condition. That's going to complete our look at the TireMinder I10 tire pressure monitoring system for your RVs. Thanks for watching.

Ask the Experts about this TireMinder TPMS

  • Will TireMinder i10 TPMS Interfere With Furrion Vision S Camera
The TireMinder i10 TPMS for RVs # TM89FR uses a signal booster, which makes it very unlikely for interference to occur with a Furrion Vision S Camera System like parts # FOS05TASF or # FOS07TASF. So long as you have the booster installed, there is no reason to think that any interference will occur. If by chance it does, moving the booster to a different, central location will remedy the issue, but it is not something that is likely to occur. I have added a link to a video review...
