Loose batteries cause wiring problems and shorts in your boat or RV. This tray fits 27 or 27M series batteries and keeps them secure, so you do not have to worry about bouncing batteries or losing power on the water or on the road.
Have you ever gotten to the lake and had your trolling motor fail? Or you set up camp and your lights cut out? Sometimes it's not an issue of wiring or equipment failure. Sometimes those shorts happen because the battery bounced just enough to pull a connection loose. A cracked battery tray or weak strap can turn into hours of rewiring, rescheduling your trip, and rethinking how secure your setup really is. This tray is made to prevent all of that. With four bolt-down points, it mounts solidly to your frame, floor, or platform. It doesn't twist under pressure and it doesn't shift when the road turns rough. The included strap uses a quick-release buckle that locks tight and stays that way. It doesn't stretch or slip loose over time, which means your battery stays where you put it.
The base is molded from durable polypropylene, which holds up to temperature changes, UV exposure, and the kind of jolts that come from movement. It's strong without being bulky and resilient without cracking under pressure. Whether you're building out a van, rewiring a trailer, or adding a second battery to your boat, this tray is built to stay in place no matter where the road takes you.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look together at our Attwood Battery Tray with Hold Down Strap. It's gonna be for 27 or 27m Marine or RV series batteries. So folks, starting off the tray itself inside to inside is seven and 1/8th inches wide by 12 and 3/8th inches long. Now this is gonna keep your battery from shifting with the included strap and buckle.
You can simply cinch it down or loosen it up as needed to have everything in place. You've got four bolt holes in the bottom, there's no hardware included, so you would need to source that locally or use something you already have. The base, it's a poly base, so it's firm, it's not flimsy, it's very tough. It's gonna hold up to the elements, heat, cold, bouncing, salt, debris, those kind of things. And if the battery leaks, it has a little chain on the side here to kind of help keep some of that in place.
But it's also gonna keep everything from corroding through the base versus some of the older metal style ones and stuff. So it's compact enough to fit in tight spaces, whether it's your van, truck, RV, camper, boat compartment, and it keeps your battery from shifting and stressing out those wires and causing shorts and those kind of things. So it's a great option if you don't already have one, pick one up. It's gonna be great keeping everything in place. And that will wrap it up for our quick look together.
I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
