The wiring harness was easy to install and should work great.
This product makes the wiring process extremely simple. I have wired many vehicles over the years. and it can be frustrating and time consuming. However, this harness was WELL worth the price to eliminate poor connections and save time. I would rather be fishing or golfing!!

Great! I have used this extensively and is holding up great with my camper and my boat.
Highly recommend this to anyone! It was relatively easy to install (the video attached to the tracking info helped tremendously with that). Super simple "plug and play" wire connections. The only downside- you need to order the support bracket separately. I decided to mount mine next to the license plate in the bumper so I had to buy some small bolts to attach it to the bumper. Had both the wiring harness and the hitch installed in about 2 hours.
The self-tapping screw provided in the package was way too small for the grounding connector other than that i would have rated it 5stars. I had a larger screw so that saved a trip to the store. Overall easy installation and great harness.

High quality product that installed easily! A generous amount of high quality wire was included. The plugs were solid and fit perfectly. Be sure to order a bracket, though. I had to fabricate one.

Thank you for your review. This is true this does not come with mounting screws.
Easy install. Be sure to order the correct mounting bracket for the 7 blade plug, if needed. Didn't see a "recommended" bracket part# on the T harness product page. Ordered what I thought would be the correct one, now I have an extra paper weight. If you intend to mount the 7 blade plug on the bottom side of the bumper, I would suggest mounting your hitch (if needed) first before drilling the 2 mounting holes. I had to move my original mounting location due to clearance issues after installing the hitch on a 2018 Ford F-150 XL step bumper.
The ground pin was very difficult to install on the plug. I had to remove the boot cover and apply liquid electrical tape.

Hello Brad, Thank you for leaving a review! These wires can vary in length and can be tricky to get in the back of the plug. From experience, I have found starting with the ground is usually the best way to get the wires plugged in. If you do apply silicon or anything that seals the connector just make sure the pins arent covered in the connector.

I don't know where to start when reviewing this company. First, the products they sell are top notch, at prices no one can beat. Secondly their online support with videos and detailed installation procedures is "unmatched" by any online company. If they can't walk or talk you through it, it probably can't be done! But perhaps the best quality product they have is their staff. When you call they are most courteous, extremely helpful, and will go above and beyond making your transaction right. I have purchased from etrailer numerous times for these very reasons. And my latest purchase ran into shipping problems (not etrailers fault) and yet Stacey A., Greg & others whose names I forgot (my apologies) made it right. Bottom line, as a frequent online shopper, I can only wish that other online companies would look at etrailers business model and choose to emulate them. This is how online SHOULD be. Product exactly as described, easy to install, and has held up well so far. I generally pull a trailer every couple of days and this made it way easier than trying to hard wire a new harness in.
The part was delivered next day and the installation video was very helpful. It truly was a plug, wire and play setup. Installation took 20 minutes. The hardest part of the installation was removing the spare tire to access the Ford factory wiring harness.
The website made the recommendations for my truck, which allowed me to find the exact part for my aftermarket trailer brake controller.
The Ford dealer wouldn’t help or recommend anything for aftermarket parts, and suggested an $800 tow package installation as my only option.
This part was 10% the cost of a factory installation and it is truly a DIY project for any level. All the lights and trailer brake controllers worked perfectly. Just follow the wiring diagram provided to get your trailer on the road just in time for the next towing event.

It work just like said no issues
This was a perfect fit for my 2018 f150 xlt 5.0 4x4.. it took like 20 min to install paired with a tekonsha brake controller and it works great!
Perfect fit, plug and play harness. Easy to install. Didn't come with a mounting bracket but that was my fault as I didn't look at the picture closely.
This is the easiest way to install a 7 prong plug on a 2018 F-150 with a 4 prong already installed by the factory. Plug and play. Mine already had all the wiring in the factory plug for the upgrade. No need to run a brake control wire from the cab to the plug.
Everything works like it was supposed to, it was pretty easy to install, but it didn’t come with any mounting hardware for the plug. And I had to call to get some clarification about the plug, but the girl I spoke to had no idea . She just read the description to me. However, it does work, and it went together well.
I haven’t installed the product yet, but I accidentally put the wrong shipping address and it was shipped already. Once I found out I emailed etrailer and they got it all figured out for me. Great customer service and will be purchasing more items in the near future!
Easy to install took about 15 minutes. My 4 year old grandson enjoyed helping handing me the bolts and nuts when installing the hitch...

I was so thankful to find this connector for my 2018 Ford F150. It would have cost me hundreds more to rewire. Extremely simple to install, with good instructions. This was a 45-minute max job.
