6 wks. ago I started on a refurbishing project off a 1988 Holsclaw boat trailer. I stripped all the paint off, ground and sanded the rust, primed and painted everything, replaced ALL the fasteners with stainless stell and some galvanized. I ordered several things from . Everything I ordered was to exact specifications and the shipping was on-time, everytime. I ordered several bearing items to repack the hubs, this coupler and nifty lifting handle, transom tie down brackets, spare tire carrier and 3 new 570x80 tires mounted on galvanized rims and the company installed stems, free of charge! I love the way this project came out and I've thoroughly enjoyed shopping @! Thank you!

This is the second Fulton Class 1 Coupler (Item E112000340) that I have bought from I particularly like this coupler because it fits a 2" square tube the way it should. There is very little gap between the 2" tube and the inside of the coupler, unlike I have found on various other well known brands. I will continue to buy the Fulton product as long as they continue to make it the same fit. Very pleased with this coupler and etrailer"s service. I have included a photo of the two projects I used the couplers on..

I am not happy with the Fulton coupler I received. Every time I unhitch my coupler I have to get down and take a screw driver and open up the moveable clamp portion to remove it from the ball. The spring is not strong enough to open it far enough to remove it. It definately is too tight in the channel it is in. I am not the type of person that puts out negative reviews online. I may have just got a lemon.

This coupler is designed for a 1-7/8 inch diameter trailer ball, so youll want to make sure thats the ball you have. Also, the jaw of the coupler is adjustable, you can loosen the nut a bit, which will improve the fit.

The products are great, just what I wanted and expected from e trailer. This is probably the third or forth order I have received and I am always a very satisfied customer. Their prices are always good, but what is great is their customer service. They always keep you informed about your order. When ever there is a problem or a delay, they are always on the phone offering help or alternatives. They, e trailer, are always there to help and satisfy the customer. Thank you.

Works great, never been disappointed.

The coupler that came with my Harbor Freight boat trailer (#5003) didn't feel secure when it closed. Fulton is a respected name, and the price, product and delivery from etrailer are always competitive. This coupler came with instructions suggesting that it be attached with four bolts, one through each hole, instead of the two through bolts HF sent. Using the four-bolt method, the coupler sits rock solid on my trailer tongue, and its metal is obviously stronger.

The Fulton Fas-Lok Coupler Item No. E112000340 was as exactly as advertized. The width was 2 1/32" which allows for a reasonably close fit on 2" x 2" square tubing. Although the item was not in stock at the time the order was placed, e-trailer staff kept me informed by e-mail as to the date it would be available from the manufacture. Once e-trailer received the item from the manufacture they immediatelty shipped the item by USPS, which I then received two days later. Very pleased with e-trailer staff, service and fast delivery.

Good quality unit, the latch/locking mechanism came pre-lubricated with lithium grease, a nice touch. The coupler is about an inch shorter than the one it is replacing, it would be nice to have that extra inch past the rearmost bolt hole for extra stability. Overall a good unit, I expect it to last for many years.

The straight tongue coupler for my boat trailer is made much better than I anticipated. It is a very heavy duty coupler and will work great as a replacement part for my trailer.

Have not installed yet. Precise fit for 2" trailer tongue. Plan to have it welded on rather than bolt onto a new trailer tongue.

Fits like a dream, just bolt on. Need new grade 8 bolts to replace existing. Happy with my purchase, great customer service!

Fast service the parts out the new coupler fit my old coupler just fine. My coupler is welded to the tongue so took parts from new coupler and put old coupler fit just like you said.

Coupler is as advertized. Delivered sooner than expected, A pleasant surprise! Will definitely remember etrailer for my future needs.

Trailer hitch looks great and arrived q uickly.

This coupler is exactly what I need. It fits perfectly and is very well built. If I ever need another one, I now know where to go. I appreciate the fast delivery as well.

Project in work. This coupler will do the job.

Exactly what I expected and ordered.

Quick shipping.

Review from a similar Fas-Lok in Straight Tongue Trailer Coupler

Our old trailer’s hitch was rusty and this was a no-brainer to fit over the tongue.

This hitch has enabled us to put new life into our old useless trailer.

  • Are There Instructions Included with Trailer Coupler Mounting
There are not any instructions included with the Trailer Coupler 1-7/8 inch Ball 2 inch Channel Tongue 2,000 lbs, part # E112000340. That is because there are two ways it can be mounted. It can be either bolted or welded on, it is up to the trailer owner how he prefers to mount the coupler.

  • Solution for Trailer Coupler to Fit Frame Channel that is 1-3/4 inches Wide
We have a solution, but it's going to require you to use steel shims as none of our couplers are designed to fit trailer frames that are 1-3/4 inches wide. What you would want is the Fulton part # E112000340 which is a coupler designed for 1-7/8 inch hitch balls like you need but fits a 2 inch wide trailer frame. With an 1/8 inch shim on either side of the trailer tongue this coupler would easily fit and work well.

  • Trailer Coupler Recommendation for a 2 inch Channel for a 1-7/8 inch Hitch Ball
For a coupler to fit a 2 inch channel that will work with a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball you would want something like the part # E112000340. Since the mounting holes aren't 3 inches apart you will need to have this coupler welded to the trailer instead since none of the options we have 3 inches between the mounting holes. Since this coupler is galvanized you will need to do all welding in a well ventilated area.

  • Does Fulton Fas-Lok Coupler part # E112000340 Include Mounting Hardware

  • Coupler Recommendation for 2 inch Wide Channel of Trailer for 1-7/8 inch Ball
We have couplers very similar to what you need but none of them have their mounting holes 3-1/2 inches apart. Best option would be to go with a coupler like the part # E112000340 which is designed for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball and fits a 2 inch wide channel. The distance between the mounting holes is 2-1/4 inches. You'd have to drill new holes on your trailer frame.

  • Availability of Repair Kit for Fulton H305 Class I Coupler
I spoke with my contact at Fulton and he stated that they no longer make repair kits for the smaller couplers like your H305 model unit. The only solution I can offer is to simply replace your existing coupler with a similarly rated unit like the Fulton # E112000340, or simply use the new unit for parts if you do not wish to remove and re-weld a replacement coupler. This coupler features a 2 inch wide channel and has a 2,000 pound capacity. I have attached a short video demonstration on...

  • Repair Kit for Fulton Fas-Lok Coupler
I reached out to Fulton regarding the # E112000340 Fas-Lok Coupler and there is no repair kit available. In addition to this information, they stated that using a new coupler to repair an old coupler is not recommended. If your coupler was manufactured prior to 2013 it has a different origin than the ones made after. Even if you used the new coupler parts to repair a newer coupler, it is not advised since there may be differences between batches resulting in parts not fitting correctly. Although...

I spoke with my contact at our supplier and they no longer supply the repair kits for 1-7/8 inch straight channel couplers. They told me that what most customers have been doing is purchasing the coupler and removing the parts they need to do the repair. Many times the coupler is a bolt-on, and can be easily replaced. If the coupler has been...

It sounds like you need a coupler latch repair kit for your 1-7/8-inch Fulton straight tongue coupler. I checked with my contact at Fulton about your coupler number 11250. According to my contact the correct coupler repair kit, part # 58-0801, is no longer available from Fulton. We no longer have any left here at etrailer. • 4 on 4 inch Bolt Pattern Hub Recommendation to Fit Trailer Spindle R104BT8
Yes, the trailer hub part # 8-91-05UC1 does fit the spindle part # R104BT8. This hub is a 2,000 lb rated hub that has a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern. For a coupler for your trailer that would take a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball you would want the part # E112000340. I attached a link to a page that has all of the 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern wheels we carry. Without knowing what size you are looking for it's hard to say for sure what would be your best option.

  • Option For 1-7/8 Inch Coupler For 2 Inch Channel For Swivel Safe Hitch
We may have an option for a coupler that works, but we don't offer the Swivel Safe brand, so we don't have any fits we can confirm. So the best I can offer are dimensions of our couplers that fit a 2" channel and attach to a 1-7/8" hitch ball. We have three possible options for that. For a coupler that has mounting holes that are 3/8" diameter and spaced 2-1/4" apart, there are two options: - Fulton Fas-Lok Coupler # E112000340 - Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # CT-2001-Z The other...

There isn't any issue with using a 2" coupler for your application (you just have to drill new holes) so I say go ahead and upgrade it to the more standard hitch ball size. I would need to know the model and/or manufacturer of the coupler. The issue is that the repair kits are not universal so I cannot guarantee that what we have will fit.
