  Hi David, If you mean will it bolt into the holes already in the # CES45FR extra long tongue, the answer will have to be a no, unfortunately. • Can a Trailer Coupler on a Vintage Trailer be Repaired without Knowing the Coupler Manufacturer
  I would need to know the model and/or manufacturer of the coupler. The issue is that the repair kits are not universal so I cannot guarantee that what we have will fit. The one thing that will work is to replace the coupler. Since you mentioned that the trailer is an A-frame but the channel is 2 inches wide I assume that the coupler is mounted to a single pole at the front of the A-frame.   If you have a Fulton latch style coupler, I spoke with my contact at Fulton and they no longer supply the repair kits for 1-7/8 inch straight channel couplers. They told me that what most customers have been doing is purchasing the coupler the same coupler and removing the parts they need to do the repair. For a latch style coupler we have # E112000340.   We have a solution, but it's going to require you to use steel shims as none of our couplers are designed to fit trailer frames that are 1-3/4 inches wide. What you would want is the Fulton part # E112000340 which is a coupler designed for 1-7/8 inch hitch balls like you need but fits a 2 inch wide trailer frame. With an 1/8 inch shim on either side of the trailer tongue this coupler would easily fit and work well.

  Yes, the trailer hub part # 8-91-05UC1 does fit the spindle part # R104BT8. This hub is a 2,000 lb rated hub that has a 4 on 4 inch bolt pattern.   For a coupler to fit a 2 inch channel that will work with a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball you would want something like the part # E112000340. Since the mounting holes aren't 3 inches apart you will need to have this coupler welded to the trailer instead since none of the options we have 3 inches between the mounting holes. Since this coupler is galvanized you will need to do all welding in a well ventilated area.
