This spare tire cover is designed to fit 24" diameter tires. For best results when covering larger tires, lay the cover in the sun for a few minutes before installation. This allows the material to expand so that it will more easily fit over the tire.

The rubber of most tires contains protective waxes that are released to the surface when you drive on it. Because you're not using your spare, it's more vulnerable to damage caused by exposure to UV rays and ozone. In short, your spare tire will wear out even if its rubber has never met the pavement. A spare tire cover is one way you can combat this form of wear.

Vented bottom stops water buildup.The only comment is it would be nice to just type in my tire size and have it automatically tell me what cover I needed instead of me having to figure it out on my own.
The truth is nobody make a good spare tire cover. These are about as good as they get. Order at least an inch or two bigger than the size chart. The cover won't look quite as tidy, but the seams won't tear out (which they are prone to do.) Plan on replacing at least every three years regardless of what you buy. Be nice if some canvas shop or awning outfit got into the business and made a good one.

Fits tire as stated, material is a little thin, can easily be ripped on edges.

bought for spare tire on boat, when boat is parked in driveway, afternoon sun hits it straight on, so far it is holding up well
Received the package in a timely manner. Seems to be of thicker material than the cover I'm having to replace, also a little wider. Left it in the sun for a few hours to let it expand a little and then installation was easy on my 195-75r14. Front mounted on my Vdub. Will have to see how well it stays on and holds up.

I ordered the 24" cover for my wife's spare tire on her Polaris RZR. The tire was exactly 24" in diameter and 8-1/2" deep. It was a snug fit, but it made the wrinkles and slack disappear.
