Purchased the kit for installing plow on a 2018 tundra. Fit was perfect and it functioned as untended. If possible - it would be great if the tow atatchment rings (not sure of proper names- but is the parts that are removed to install ) could be msintsined.

Parts Needed to Install SnowBear Snow Plow on Front of 2014 Toyota Tundra CrewMax
The easy solution to allow your 2014 Toyota Tundra CrewMax to use a SnowBear plow is to go the front hitch mount route like with the part # SB324-080 for the plow and then the Curt front hitch part # 31198 as this route does not have fit exclusions for the CrewMax models. There isn't a way to modify the mount kit you mentioned to fit the CrewMax models.

Does5XM5 Universal Cross Member for SnowBear Snowplows Fit a 2008 Toyota Tundra
If you have a custom SnowBear plow mount kit on your 2008 Toyota Tundra then yes, the cross member # SB324-060, will fit. The custom kit for your truck is # SB397-039 but it does not fit CrewMax models. Another option if you don't already have a plow and mount kit is to use a model that fits in a front mount hitch. You would first need a front mount hitch though, # 31198. Then you could use any of the plows in the link I have provided.
