Note: SeeLeveL tank monitoring systems are not compatible with metal tanks.
Traditional tank monitors have a reputation for being unreliable. Only a few sensors are installed inside, meaning that they usually only measure in quarter increments and can send false readings if they get dirty. When you're keeping an eye on how much fresh water you have, the difference between 25% full and empty means a lot, and that inaccuracy can be a problem.
The SeeLeveL tank monitoring system uses technology that can sense fluid levels from the outside of the tank. The sensors' flexible circuit board sticks in place and measures along its entire height. This makes it accurate in single-digit increments.
Information at Hand
This SeeLeveL monitor features Bluetooth compatibility, allowing you to check your tank levels, as well as your battery voltage and propane levels, from your smart device. It's like having a second monitor with you so you can check the progress as you fill or empty your tanks or take a glance at freshwater levels before using your outdoor kitchen or shower. The free SeeLeveL RV app from Garnet Instruments is available for Android and Apple devices.
LPG Monitoring
Large RVs with permanent propane tanks often feature wired sensors on their gauges. These can go by different names, such as LPG gauge sensors, tank level monitors, remote ready dials, or R3D dials. If your RV has an interior panel for monitoring LPG levels, you know you're good to go with wiring already in place for an easy install. If you're not sure, check the tank itself. If the gauge has a wired sensor attached to it, you can connect it to the SeeLeveL monitor.
SeeLeveL sensors used for fresh, gray, and black tanks will not work on metal tanks of any kind, including LPG tanks.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this SeeLeveL Bluetooth-compatible RV holding tank monitor for fresh, gray, black, and propane tanks, with this water pump switch. If your RV tank monitor readings change from 25% to empty in the blink of an eye, that's a problem. This monitor uses SeeLeveL sensors, which are sold separately, for single-digit accuracy. The SeeLeveL tank monitoring system uses technology that can sense fluid levels from the outside of the tank, and the sensor's flexible circuit board sticks in place and measures along its entire height. This makes it accurate in single-digit increments.
Now this monitor displays the levels of your RV's fresh, and gray, and black tanks at the push of a button. And it can also display your propane levels and battery voltage. This also has the added benefit of connecting to your smartphone via Bluetooth or remote monitoring with a free smartphone app available for iOS and Android. It's like having a second monitor with you. The Bluetooth range is 30 feet, and this can activate your water pump with integrated switches.
The freeway function lets you connect to switches in your bathroom, kitchen, or elsewhere. If your RV has an interior panel for monitoring LPG levels, you're good to go with wiring already in place for an easy install. If you're not sure, check the tank itself. If the gauge has a wired sensor attached to it, you can connect it to the SeeLeveL monitor. Now this works with multiple monitors, so you can check tank status from the service bay and inside your RV.
You can also check the status and signal strength of your sensors using the diagnostic mode, which will help improve accuracy during installation. Now, it will alert you of any errors or calibration issues with various display codes. The codes are explained with the suggested solutions in the user's manual, and this monitor installs easily. You would just cut a hole for this recessed mount monitor, and screw it into place with the included screws that you see here. This includes an 11-inch long pigtail needed for installation, and the existing wiring from your old tank monitor systems can be used to ease the install.
This is for three holding tank systems, and the monitor dimensions, let me pull out my ruler here real quick, the overall width, we're sitting right at four inches wide, and looking at the height, we're sitting right at almost three inches, right at about 2 7/8 inches tall. And then looking at the depth, I'm including the plug for this pigtail. We're gonna be sitting right at an inch deep. The operating temperature range is gonna be from 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The operating voltage range is gonna be from 11 volts to 16 volts, and SeeLeveL monitors come in a variety of configurations, depending on your specific requirements. Consult the chart on this product page to make sure that you get the monitor that best fits your need. If you're replacing an old tank monitoring system, you'd wanna check with the functions that are provided by the existing panel. Some models incorporate switches, or pumps, or heaters, or providing information on propane levels. You'll want to pick the SeeLeveL monitor that can provide for all of those features. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..
