Adam: Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Inno Aero crossbars on our 2019 Toyota Sienna. So, this is going to be a great addition to your Sienna because it can carry a lot of passengers, but whenever you're going on trips, they probably have a bunch of stuff too, so we want to keep them nice and comfy in there. This is going to allow us to do some clamp-on accessories and also some T-slot accessories. So, this is the 39-inch bar and it is going to be powder-coated, so it has a nice finish to it. This is black, and it's going to resist against that rust and corrosion over time.Another thing that's going to help resist it against rust and corrosion is the way that the T-Slots are designed.
The T-Slots do have a little rubber insert here, so you don't have to trim anything. So, the nice thing about that is one you don't got to trim anything, and two, you really just have to take these caps off and put your T-track accessories in there, push down a little bit, and it slides across. It's going to help maybe reduce some of that wind noise that you get, so the wind doesn't actually get into that T-Slot and also keeps some of that water out as well. So, nice thing about these Aero bars from Inno is the fact that we don't have a whole lot of overhang from our factory bars here, we're actually only sitting out about two and a quarter inches, so that's definitely a plus and it still has that 165-pound weight rating, but always check and make sure your vehicle's roof can handle it. A couple more measurements for you from the top of our roof to the bottom of our bar, it's going to be about three and a half inches and from our top of our roof to the top of the bar is going to be about four and a half inches. So, you're going to be able to fit quite a bit of even the clamp-on accessories onto these bars as well. So, now that we've gone over some of those features, another feature is they're pretty easy to install.
So, let's just go ahead and do that now. So, there are a couple of things we need to make sure of before we install our feet. One, what we need to do is designate which side of this bar is going to be facing forward. The way it looks, we have one side that's going to have a little ridge here, and that's going to be the same side that the T-track is a little bit closer to. If you can see that, how there's a little bit more meat over here than on this side, and this is going to be facing forward.
So, we're going to keep that in mind. So, this side's going to be facing forward when it's upside down. And now the next thing we need to do is we are going to have designated Ls and Rs to show our right and left feet. So, once we get all that done, we want to. There's a little tab in here and I'm going to slide about there, this tab will catch it, and then it's pretty simple after that.. Just want to make sure that the knob it's facing out towards the end of the bar and kind of get it in there and all you got to do is put it in, done deal.
Now we can go ahead and put it up on our roof. You can probably get this done by yourself and if you have a specific attachment you plan on putting on here, then the length between our front and back bar is something you want to check. All we need to do is just get that little strap underneath the bar on both sides, and then just make sure that it's going to be nice and even just so our bars aren't going to be a little slanted, but once we do that, we can go ahead and actually secure it down.I want to start on our driver's side, but you can do this however you like, you just pretty much just take this little strap here and as you can see, I can't really get it into this groove, so that's what this knobs for. So, as we're loosening this, lefty loosey, we're going to be able to get a little bit more play with it so we can get it up there. All right, should be enough. So, as you can see, it's going to fit real nice into that slot there, get that done and you can go ahead and tighten that backup. As I'm tightening it, it feels secure to the bar. You don't really have to worry about it scratching your bar because it is a rubber-coated steel, so your vehicle will be taken care of.So, now all we really need to do is put our caps on. There is a little tab here that we're going to fit in this little slot there, and I'll put it down, a little bit of downward pressure, get it into place and lock them down. And once you're all done with that, and you put your caps on and lock them into place you're pretty much done and ready to go. Again, this was the Inno Aero crossbars on our 2019 Toyota Sienna..
