Speaker 1: Today, on our 2013 Nissan Rogue, we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars, part number: RRVA126B-2; the Rhino Rack 2500 Series Leg, part number: RRRLKVA; and the fit kit for our Rogue, part number: DK146. Now, keep in mind that our crossbars are also available in silver, part number: RRVA126S-2.The Rhino Rack Roof Rack System is a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories on your roof, whether those are bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers or cargo baskets. It's going to help free up space inside your vehicle, allow you to carry more passengers or more gear. The aerodynamic shape of our bars is going to help to reduce wind, noise and drag as well as the weatherstrip on the inside channel. If we remove our end cap, we can see that our weatherstrip is easy to remove. We can cut it down and place in channel-mounted accessories.Though we have a plastic lock core on our end cap for our crossbar, we do have the option to place in a metal lock core which will help to reduce theft and tampering of any channel-mounted accessories.
On our leg kit we do have a metal lock core and this is going to help to prevent theft and tampering of your roof rack system all together. Our fit kit is custom-cut to our vehicle, so it's going to give us a nice, secure fit when everything's tightened down. It's also going to have a rubber coating on any portion that touches our vehicle to prevent any scratches or abrasions. The Rhino Rack Roof Rack System has a 165-pound weight capacity, though you do want to double check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that much weight. These crossbars themselves are going to measure at 49 inches long, though we do have longer options available on our site. You just want to make sure they don't extend out past your side view mirrors. The Roof Rack System is also going to come with a limited lifetime warranty and be quick and easy to install. We'll show you how to do that now.Everything that you see on our table is what we'll need for our install. We're going to provide our own flat tape measure, but our kit will include: Two crossbars.
Four legs for our leg kit, as well as four end caps. We're going to have four clamps and four pads from our fit kit. Four end caps for our crossbar. An included tool to tighten everything down. A key for our end caps for our crossbars and the keys for our leg kit. Now, we'll start off with our leg kit, removing our bolt here.
Take our clamp and place it over our leg kit and we'll start to tighten it down. Want to tighten it down just enough so that it holds our clamp into place. Then we can flip our leg kit over and remove the plastic bottom. We'll take our rubber bottom and secure that together. Once we have that completely closed up, we can place on the plastic portion, making sure that our arrows on each are facing out towards our clamp.
We'll place our leg kit onto our crossbar, sliding it into the channel at the bottom. Now, we'll measure out the inside channel here. You will have these inserts with your kit. They have the markings on them for your measurement. You can cut it down and place it into the channel. That will help to reduce wind, noise and drag. You can always use the extra on the outside edge as well, but for demonstration purposes we're just going to use our flat tape measure. We want that to measure out to 16.1 centimeters. Take our included tool and we can tighten down our bolt here in the center of our leg kit. We'll finish off this portion with out end cap for our crossbar and locking that into place.Once we have our vehicle doors open, we can place on our end cap, making sure that our clamps sit around our door frame here. Now, we'll measure out our crossbar spread. This is going to be from the center of the front clamp to the center of the back. Want to measure that out to 70 centimeters, and we'll do the same thing to the other side.Once we have everything in place, we can take our included tool and start to tighten our bolt down. Now, we'll know we have our bolt completely tightened down when the skinnier portion of our torque tool is completely straight, just like you see there. Now, we can take our end cap for our leg kit and lock it into place. We're ready to load up our accessories and hit the road. That's going to be our completed look at the Rhino Rack Roof Rack System on our 2013 Nissan Rogue.
All items on this order were received and were easy to assemble.

great help from Steve enabling me to get the right parts . and delivered in 3 days. I will use etrailer again
Kit was pretty easy to put on, at least my husband didn’t seem to swear a lot. Great value since we only use this once a year when we go to the great state of Maine.
The Rhino rack I ordered is decent. However it arrived without all the pieces needed to assemble. I contacted etrailer and they wanted pics of the holes in the box ( which I understand they need to file a claim) Unfortunately I STILL haven’t received the required parts 2 weeks later and I’ve moved (why I needed the rack in the first place)
Great product , Etrailer did a great job for me especially Kevin!
Thanks !
The roof rack was simple to install and very well made
The clamps didn’t fit my 2013 F150 perfectly. They needed to be bent to fit reasonably well. I get more wind noise in the truck with them on.
The parts arrived with no package damage and all the parts were there.
Good quality, great instructions
Hard to get through onvv by the phone due to extremely long wait times but once I finally got through, was able to order what I wanted.
These things are stout and have been attached for 2 seasons of kayaking !
Good strong product, easy to assemble, great customer service
Good product..simple install...wish the instructions were not in mm
Arrived quickly and came with easy to read instructions. Only took me an hour to set it up, and it works great.
Nice product and as described! Looks and fits great on the Jeep Compass. Good communication and fast shipping.

WORKED GREAT AND DIDN'T LEAVE ANY MARKS ON THE ROOF OF THE CAR
Worked perfectly with the cross bar kit
Item shipped quickly from etrailer and was easy to install.
Product was delivered in a damaged and taped up box. After opening the damaged box, I see that it was missing several critical parts in order to install it. It was missing the end caps for the cross bars, the torque allen key, the measurement strips and 1 euro crossbar adaptor. I wont be able to use it and feel so frustrated that being a high priced roof rack it comes with the bars and the legs being worn. This has been the worst experience and makes me think twice about purchasing products online.
