Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack

The Malone AirFlow2 roof rack lets you carry gear and accessories on the roof of your vehicle with raised, factory side rails. This complete roof rack system includes 2 aluminum, aerodynamic crossbars and 4 towers. Rubber strips in the top channels push down for easy loading of T-slot accessories and carriers. The full-length crossbars extend past the towers to give you more mounting space for carriers, and the towers have built-in locks to protect the rack from theft. The rack clamps onto your raised side rails and tightens down with the included tool, so it's easy to remove and install.

Aerodynamic Shape

Malone AirFlow2 Crossbar with Endcap

The AirFlow2's Aerodynamic shape helps control air flow over and under the bar to significantly decrease wind noise and vibration even at highway speeds. This decreases the need to add a fairing to your roof rack. The aero-style bar also reduces drag and helps maintain fuel efficiency.

Lightweight, Aluminum Crossbars

Malone AirFlow2 Crossbar with Endcap

The silver crossbars are made of aluminum, which makes them strong, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion. The bars also have plastic endcaps to protect the interiors from the elements and to give your roof rack a finished look.

Durable Towers with Built-In Security

Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack Towers

The towers are made of molded nylon that won't fade or wear down when exposed to the elements. Each tower includes a nylon cover with a built-in lock to deter would-be thieves from removing the rack from your roof. The covers also protect the towers' interior and hardware from the elements.

Easy Installation with Rubber-Coated Steel Clamps

Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack Installed

The towers attach to your vehicle's raised, factory side rails with rubber-coated steel clamps. The rubber coating provides a superior grip on your side rails and protects them from damage during installation and use.

Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack Installation Tool

To tighten, simply turn the bolt inside the tower assembly with the included installation tool until the clamps are snug. Once assembled, the towers and crossbars stay together as one unit, which makes removing, storing, and reinstalling the system a snap. To remove, simply remove the cover and loosen the bolts inside the towers with the installation tool.

Channel and Clamp-On Accessories

Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack Rubber Clamps

These crossbars have built-in top channels with strips that allow you to carry channel-mounted accessories on your roof. You can remove, trim, and re-insert the strips around the mounting hardware of your accessories to keep the crossbar channel capped and quiet.

Maximum Cargo Carrying Capacity

Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack Full-Length Crossbars

The AirFlow2 includes full-length crossbars that extend past the towers. The increased length gives you more space to mount accessories and carriers to your roof rack. The bars are compatible with most universal, clamp-on accessories and carriers.

Video Transcript for Malone AirFlow2 Universal Roof Rack Installation - 2015 Subaru Forester

Speaker 1: Today in our 2015 Subaru Forester, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you how to install the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack System, part number MPG215.That's gonna be for 50-inch long cross bars. It's also available in 58-inch long cross bars, using part number MGP216, and 65-inch long cross bars, using MGP217.Our Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack System is going to allow us to free up space inside of our Forester, making more room for passengers and pets. Whether it be a bike rack, a kayak carrier, or even a cargo box for some elongated gear, it's gonna free up that space inside, and allow us to mount it up top.Our Malone AirFlow2 is going to be one of the easiest arrow bar roof rack systems to put on out of the box. It's gonna come with those included lock cores and it's going to have a lot of the same features that a lot of the higher-end roof rack systems have. Out of the box, our cross bars and foot packs are already going to be pre-assembled, so all we're going to have to do is set 'em on top of our raised rails, get our measurements down, and tighten everything up.Metal lock cores are included out of the box and it does come with two keys that are keyed alike for all four foot packs. The cross bars themselves are going to be aluminum, so they're going to be lightweight and rust-proof.

The elliptical shape to 'em is going to cut down on that wind noise and drag that's commonly associated with roof racks. Now, depending on what kind of accessories you have, there is a T-track slot accessory on the top. Now, unlike a lot of other ones where you have to take out the rubber strip, cut it to length, and figure out all of that, this one, we're able to flip down to the cap and we can actually just push down on that rubber weather stripping and slide our accessory in, making it a lot easier and less of a hassle trying to cut everything. We have the 50-inch long crossbars on our Subaru here and on the front, we have about two inches of overhang on each side. Then if we move to the back, it's a little bit more. It's about two-and-a-half inches of overhang. Now, if you want a little bit more room to mount some more accessories, there are those longer bars available.

You want to make sure you don't exceed the weight capacity of the crossbar or of your roof.As far as our Malone AirFlow2, the 50-inch, 58-inch, and 65-inch crossbars are all going to have 165-pound weight capacity. One thing to keep in mind whenever you are mounting accessories to your roof rack is the amount of clearance that you have between your roof and the bar itself. From the top of the roof to the bottom of our crossbar is going to be about three-and-a-half inches. We've got plenty of room here for most accessories and our sunroof even isn't going to interfere at all.You just want to be mindful of your sunroof when you do have accessories mounted, but with nothing on there, it's not going to interfere at all. The overall height of our crossbar from the top of our roof to the top of the bar is going to be right at four-and-a-half inches.

If you're looking for a roof rack system for your Forester, a Malone AirFlow2 is going to be a really good option. It's going to have a lot of those nice features that some of the high-end ones do while still being a user-friendly entry level product. We already have our front bar installed. Let's go ahead and put the second one on together. Now, fortunately, they already come preassembled, so all we're going to have to do is loosely put it on our roof, making sure that we get around the crossbar. Now, there's no exact measurement of where you want your bar to be, but you want a minimum crossbar spread of 27-and-a-half inches.I'm just going to take a tape measure and go from the center of my front foot pack to the center of the rear foot pack and 27-and-a-half is actually going to land right here at this upright support, so we're going to come right behind it, which is going to make it 32 inches between our two crossbars. We'll go to the other side and make sure that it's nice and even so our bars will be nice and square.

Now, on the end of our foot pack, we are going to have a locking core. We can take the included key and unlock it. Each bar is going to have an included tightening tool inside the foot pack. Before we tighten everything down, we want to make sure we get our overhang even on each side. The easiest way to do that, just go ahead and pull your bar all the way to one side. We're going to take a tape measure and we're going to measure the overhang. Then we can divide it by two and then we can check the other side to make sure it is even.If look on the inside of our foot pack, we're going to have a little Allen bolt in there and our tightening tool's going to fit. We're just going to tighten it up until it's snug and it's grabbing the bar evenly. You may want to push down just slightly, start tightening it until it gets a little snug, and then we can move to the other side. Make sure it tightens even and the bar doesn't shift on us.Once we have our bar snug, we can come back and tighten it up all the way. You just want to make sure that the bar's nice and secure on there, but you don't need to go crazy cranking down to where you feel like you're going to snap something. Then our tightening tool, if we go right above that Allen bolt, you can slide it in and it'll store inside our foot pack. Now, you might notice that that channel at the bottom there is open and that's so that our crossbar can slide back and forth and we can get an even overhang on each side. In our kit, it does come with some weather stripping that we can cut to length and put it in there, which will reduce the wind noise and whistling sounds, but for demonstration purposes, we're not going to be putting them in.That'll finish up your look at the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack System, part number MPG215 on our 2015 Subaru Forester.

I got the Malone Roof Rack Crossbars last night and just put them on. First of all, thank you etrailer for such great service. They must have been shipped an hour after I ordered them. They are great and beautiful. They far exceeded my expectations in quality and looks. They look like they belong on the jeep. They were very reasonably priced in my opinion, and I don't know how you could improve them for more money. Definitely 5 stars. 518163

Easy to install-thank-goodness because we were ready to add our kayaks and go (97 heat index) Nick from etrailer said the rails would work on our ‘99 Tahoe and they fit perfectly and have adjustable spacing. We did have three black rubber pieces that look like protectors of some kind- couldn’t find anything in the directions on how/where to use them. Not worried about it for our ‘99 Tahoe - it has been well used! If it ever dies tho I guess I’ll have to figure out how to use the rubber protectors on a newer car. 522193

The Malone roof rack (MPG 217) I purchased works great and looks good. I ordered the 65 inch rack to get some extra overhang on my 2019 Subaru Ascent so that when loading kayaks my wife and I can lift straight up.The racks make a slight hum when driving at speeds of 60+ mph but it is not noticeable if the radio is on or if the AC is running. The end caps seem to fit loosely. Afraid that they might fall out, I used some HVAC aluminum tape to hold them on tightly. Hardly notice the tape. The people at etrailer were very helpful when ordering and when tracking the order. I ordered the rack on Friday, Sept. 20. I arrived on Thursday, Sept. 26. I am very happy with the way the rack is attached and the price I paid at etrailer 716873

A few hiccups with missing parts in the sealed box from Malone however etrailer made it all better. I haven't had a chance to haul anything yet but structurally and cosmetically this rack seems to be an awesome value considering it is less than half of what a Yakima or Thule costs and this rack includes the locks which are an option for the top two just mentioned. I'm very happy so far and I'm not easy to please. 505782

Easy to assemble and look good. Happy with the price. As other reviewers said, watch the end caps, there is extra plastic on the odd locking tab that needs to be trimmed so they will stay on. The manufacturer should look at fixing the mold for this. Etrailer experience was excellent. 553440

My SUV now has Utility!! Added the racks so I could transport purchases from my local home improvement stores. Not using any carriers (bike, kayak). The kit was easy to install, looks great! Is quiet (unlike comparably priced square tubbing), and includes rubber that should keep my rails from getting scratched. I prefer a straight across profile over the curved versions that cost 2-3x more. Highly recommend. . 693723

Have Malone Airflow 2 crossbars. Fit well and hold everything in place. Can’t complain. Bought them for the price, nothing fancy. Take them off in winter. Takes forever to manually screw them on tight. Expected that. If you don’t get the rubber gasket things in place perfectly under the crossbars as instructed they whistle as you drive. Don’t lose the keys! 690759

This is a great value product. I was a bit discouraged by the pricing of similar name brand products. I took a chance on this brand, and have been very happy thus far. Assembly was a breeze and fit was perfect thanks to the fit guide offered by etrailer. Would highly recommend this roof rack system, especially for those unwilling to pay double (or more) for other brands that serve the same purpose. 544818

Rack working well. Only minor issue is that the small plastic covers on the ends of the racks that cover up the securing bolts tend to pop open when I pull my kayak off the rack. Would be better if those covers were hinged at the top versus the bottom and opened in the upward direction. Probably a matter of time before they get ripped off. 565877

Pretty slick looking, and fairly easy to install on a 2018 Subaru Forester. No problems inserting the rubber trim into the slot on the underside of the crossbars. I haven't yet driven it above 50 mph (just installed them this afternoon) but so far no noise issues. I also haven't mounted any kind of equipment rack to the crossbars, so I can't speak to the T-slot functionality yet. One tip - be sure the plastic end cap is pushed onto the rail far enough for the release tab to click into the square hole inside the rail end. It can feel like it's pushed on all the way, but the tab must engage or it's not secure. Give it a solid tug to test it - sure would suck for it to come flying off on the highway somewhere. 529106

The Airflow2 are great. They fit perfectly on the stock rails on my Subaru Impreza. Quiet, secure, and good looking. When driving with my 19ft surfski or 12ft surf rescue boards I have complete confidence. 557970

Comments

Its kind of hard to see in the photo, but Im not sure I saw any tie-downs for the front and back of your rescue board. They do an excellent job of preventing the wind from trying to lift the front/rear of the board during transport its a scary occurrence, if youve ever seen it happen!, and they are highly recommended. Rhino Rack offer a pretty cool anchor system, part # RRRBAS-2

I am overall happy with this product and the aero design is quiet on the road. I do not like the large feet that get attached to the factory roof racks and their large size does not allow my Yakima kayak carriers to straddle over the feet. The locking mechanism is also giving me problems as the key gets stuck trying to get past the security cover piece on the lock. I attempted to lubricate it but will still get stuck occasionally. The allen wrench device is a pain for installing the bars since you cannot turn it 360 degrees without hitting the bottom side of the bar and mandates removing the wrench and starting back at the other side. I would recommend getting same brand products to avoid the issues I'm having and not try to mix one brand bars with another brand rack/carrier. 567558

Comments

I have been satisfied so far but have removed the locking mechanism since it gave me trouble and the key would get stuck. The blade style gives a slight whistle at higher speeds but was expected.

Review from a similar Malone AirFlow2 in Roof Rack

In response to etrailer.com's request for a 1-year update on my experience with the Malone Airflow2 Roof Rack, I have to say I remain 100% satisfied! This product was far more affordable than most other options for my 2014 Audi Allroad, and it has performed flawlessly. It was crucial to install the rubber stoppers carefully to block all wind whistles, and it was slightly annoying to have to cut them to fit and place them appropriately, so I would not want to have to modify them to add another rack to the twin OneUp fatbike racks I've installed, but that initial installation effort was my only complaint. I even made the all-too-common rookie mistake of beginning to drive into my garage with a bike on my roof: while I bent one of my OneUp racks, there was NO apparent damage to the Malone Airflow2 (so it seems plenty rugged)! 527341

Comments

Still satisfied at the 2-year mark. I just purchased a Thule Force Alpine cargo box that fits between my pair of OneUp fat bike roof racks, and it clamps on just fine. The only misleading statement in the product description is that I found it absolutely necessary to cut the rubber that fills the T-slot in order to install or even move my bike racks. And sliding it into place is quite a pain as well. I’m considering adding a 3rd bike rack, but I’m not looking forward to the installation process, and I wonder if I might need new rubber for the T-slot if I were to have to cut the original one too much to reposition it —but I’m not sure Malone sells it separately?

Our objective is to carry a 16' canoe. etrailer was quite helpful in advising on cross-bar options for our 2015 Toyota Sienna minivan. The Malone cross bars were a good value and fit onto our factory installed roof rails. Also, their measurement was sufficiently accurate that the minivan is able to clear entry into our garage. We will be going back to etrailer for advice on which support system to use with the Malone cross bars. 544461

Super fast shipping. Everything installed in about 20 minutes, no problems. Fits great on 2015 forester with raised roof rails. Only tool required was an Allen key that is attached to lock 'A' of the included towers. 500139

Comments

After owning the product for a year, it has been great. We have moved across the country with it and the rack has been fantastic! We put a rooftop box on the rails and it did wonderfully. I now have a bike rack on it and again, fantastic. The rails are super sturdy and there is hardly any flex. There havent been any tears in the rubber strips or any other damage I have seen. They have been removed and reinstalled a few times with no issues. Bugs clean off of it pretty easily also. I would easily make this purchase again if this set ever needs to be replaced.

The crossbars themselves are relatively lightweight but appear to be sturdy. I used them on my 4runner to mount a rooftop tent. I traveled some rough trails and was camping for four nights without any problem. The bars have done well under some rough conditions. I do think the plastic end caps are garbage. They were a pain to install then easily come off if the rail clamp slides and hits them, also break easily. That was disappointing. etrailer service was fantastic and I recommend doing business with them 496246

Comments

I just returned from a trip offroading and camping in death vallely. The crossbars have help up well but I did duct tape on a couple of the plastic end caps and that has worked fine. Again I have a roof top tent mounted to these rails. I think it weighs about 135 lbs and has done just fine on these rails across some rough mountain and desert trails.

Previous owner and heavy user of roof racks including Yakima round bars on 3 vehicles, Thule aero bars (2) and factory roof racks on Toyota 4Runner and Highlander. First Malone product. Took about 45 minutes to place on a Rav4. Construction materials are solid but just a hair below Thule and Yakima. Ease of installation was as good or better than previous racks. Value was by far the greatest asset that Malone offers. Once installed, the racks feel solid, only a hint of additional road noise on the way to work this morning. Full test with two sup boards on a 200 mile round trip this weekend. 551807

Quick service product built very well haven’t driven with the kayaks on it yet but feels very secure. The only thing I would change is once you get everything aligned I wish the brackets would stay where they are at on the bars but as soon as you loosen to remove them the brackets move. 529492

After selling my truck and purchasing one without a trailer hitch I placed my order for my new Curt trailer hitch. Shortly after I received and email from George J. at etrailer.com. The email stated that my order was being packaged and would be sent out in the next seven days. Living in the northeast we have a very short boating season and seven days to put the order together and 7 to 10 days to ship was not going to work for me, as I would be without a boat most of August. I replied to the email to ask about expediting the shipping. I got a reply email almost immediately from Troy H. who informed me that Etrailer was waiting on another part of my order to come in from the manufacturer. Troy said that he could get the trailer hitch and wiring harness out immediately if i didn't mind waiting a little longer for the roof racks. I didnt mind waiting for the roof racks so Troy had my hitch and harness sent out. Five days later it was sitting on my front porch. Thank you to George J. and Troy H. for the great customer service. 545906

Rails were as expected, fit great. Had an issue wit a part and the folks at etrailer came though above an beyond what I expected. Great customer service. The wind noise is negligible and if it bothers me I'll turn on the radio. Have tied ladders down with no issues. So the snowflakes will give their snowflake reviews of how the rails do not work. So listen to them if you choose to do so. I am very pleased with the rails and the quality of the rails. I went ahead and scratched them the first time used, that way I can not get upset if they get a scratch later. They do however kill some bugs, so if you want to protect the endangered bugs, I suggest hugging a tree. 566147

Easy enough to get the rails on the car, but once it was secured, it was impossible to get the rubber strips inside the bottom of the rail to reduce wind noise. 641177

Review from a similar Malone AirFlow2 in Roof Rack

I ordered the Malone MPG215 and they arrived in a few days. I was worried that the 50" rails would be to short, the Malone fitment guide said they would be to short and I would need the 58" rails for my 2017 Jeep Cherokee. I didn't want the longer rails to overhang the doors and bang my head. I watched the etrailer install video and they had the shorter rails so I figured it was worth a chance. They arrived completely assembled except for the snap on end caps and the rubber trim for the bottom of the rails. Easy install- take out of the box, unlock the covers, take out the allen keys, loosen up the clamps, put them on the rack, measure for alignment, tighten them up, replace the covers, snap on end caps, measure and cut the rubber trim and install, DONE!!!! It took about a half hour, super easy at half the cost of more expensive rails. The silver rails go good with the factory rack. Over hang is about an inch in the front and two inches in the rear. Now I can take my gear or get some materials at the local home improvement store without fear of how I'm going to get it home. I really appreciate the install videos etrailer provides, makes everything easier. 655581

Review from a similar Malone AirFlow2 in Roof Rack

received the racks very quickly they installed within an hour and they look great. I put them on a 2005 jeep grand cherokee. 419560

Comments

I bought these bars because I bought a roof top bag from [outdoor warehouse] which is 15 cubic ft. Found the Jeep doesnt let you slide the bars far enough apart to make room for the bag so I will just use one of them to keep the bag from sliding back. The bars are very sturdy but the end caps are junk and it wouldnt do any good to get new ones just glue them a little so you can cut them loose if need be. Cant beat the price and they look good as long as you dont lose the end caps. tried to bend the clip on one end cap and it broke off. so I glued it

Fast Delivery, explicit install video's while your waiting. Received my roof rack a day early. That was great because I am leaving the next day for Atlanta. Install time 32 Min. Would have been quicker but I had to mount, mark for rubber rail sealer strip, dismount, install strip and remount. Took it for a ride to check for air noise. Local it was OK but will see on 95 tomorrow when I'm doing 75. Sold my neighbor a hitch for his 2013 Ford Edge while I was installing the racks. Customer Service is hard to find today but the crew at etrailer is the best. 499893

Very impressed with the quality of product for the price. Was able to install quickly and easily and seems very strong/reliable. The 58" was a perfect size for the 2012 Honda Pilot and should be able to fit our Thule luggage carrier no problem. 426641

Exactly as described, great - yet simple instructions, arrived in very good packaking and installed in less than 10 mins. Perfect product and good customer service. Best pricing around. Use rack to transport canoe and kayak, love the accessory rail. Rack is silent, no wind or any noise during any legal speeds. Solid product and very good material and craftsmanship, .. ordered trailer kit for my sorento as well due to the fact of how pleased I am with the roof rack. etrailer rocks!!! 546910

Product was better than advertised. Very clean and sleek. Installation took 20 minutes. Only tool not in the box was a tape measure to square it on roof. Only complaint was the ends of the bars have burs which of course i cut a knuckle on. It does come with caps to cover ends. The color is an almost perfect match to factory rails. 525869

Review from a similar Malone AirFlow2 in Roof Rack

I just received these today. Installation was easy. I haven't used them for carrying a load yet, but I don't have any reason to believe it wont work fine. These bars are way cheaper than Thule, and they seem to be very good quality. I was expecting them to be noisey, but so far (speeds below 70 mph) that has not been the case. The service from these folks was excellent. George responded immediately to a mistake on my address. He corrected it and the bars arrived within three days of ordering. Very happy I ordered from these folks. 477818

Really great rack at half the price of the other brands. not sure why more people don't know about these! I also bought some van ladder rack accessories to fit 4x8 sheet plywood on the roof, and the 58" was just slightly too short to have these fit on both sides, so get a longer rack if you want to do this. 642745

Review from a similar Malone AirFlow2 in Roof Rack

These fit my Volvo XC90 R-Type perfectly. They are very sturdy and secure. The only thing I can say that might bother some people is the wind noise you will hear when driving. Even though I put the rubber strips underneath to reduce the wind noise you can definitely still hear it. However for me that isn’t an issue, when I hit the road I’m blasting my music so it doesn’t bother me. 638438

Comments

Unfortunately, adding anything to the roof of a vehicle will generate wind noise. Its unavoidable. As you mentioned, it can be minimized by ensuring that the rubber strips are in place atop and on the underside of the crossbars.

Review from a similar Malone AirFlow2 in Roof Rack

I purchased the 58" model cross bars because I often have to transport materials for work that wont fit in my car. I am also planning on buying a kayak and wanted the cross bars to accept a kayak carrier. I had some difficulty finding cross bars that were long enough but not crazy expensive. These fit the bill. The installation was quite easy and they look like they came with the car. I have had it out on the highway and there is no noise. Very pleased. 406186

The rack is on the roof and the Rhino side bracket ready makes it easy to load my Hobie 14 foot Pro Angler Kayak (98lbs) on the high roof of my Suburban, (it has a 3" lift}. Review from a similar Malone AirFlow2 in Roof Rack

I ordered the bars to replace the factory ones on my RAV4. They arrived in great shape on the day promised. Installation was a snap thanks to the videos on the etrailer site. I did not use the built in wrench. The hex is a 5mm so I grabbed a hex socket, extension, and my 3/8 ratchet. Took all of about a half hour to install. Could have been quicker but it was nearly 90 degrees out and I was not rushing. Getting the factory bars off was more of pain than putting the new ones on. I have a set of Yakima pads on them because of the boat that I use. The bars with the pads installed are quieter on the highway than the factory ones. I installed the slot rubber strips only on the outside ends because the pads cover the center. Got up to 75 on the highway to test the nosie level and they were nice and quiet even with the sun roof open. Solid, easy to install, the 58 inch width is enough to easily get two boats on and having the little extra hanging out makes tie down easier. Great product and great service. Seen with my homemade load assist. 20 bucks worth of PVC and a dollar store pool noodle with a few zip ties. 666530

Review from a similar Malone AirFlow2 in Roof Rack

I bought the least expensive item in the category, and I must say I was happy with the results. The Aero Crossbars were pretty easy to install and work well. Very little wind noise, if any. Though with the Cargo basket attached to the rails, there is a little wind noise. The Rola Cargo Basket is very sturdy and seems to be well made and solid. Better then my expectation. The roof/rack mounting hardware works well. The only difficulty I had in assembly was with the rubber sleeves that cover the basket assembly screws to protect them from rusting. These were very challenging to install and I wish I had thought to just use some black duct tape - I suspect most people don't bother with them. That was the only negative - I do lose about 2.5 miles per gallon with the rack installed on my 2017 Subaru Forester, but that was expected. Overall very pleased with the purchase. Found the ordering and shipping went exactly as expected. 407848

Comments

Aero crossbars and the cargo basket are both still in excellent shape after a year, hauling golf clubs and luggage on trips to Florida and kayaks to local rivers. Id still recommend these products

Ordered this roof rack for a 2013 Toyota RAV4 and it arrived well packaged and on the date as promised. Rack is so easy to install that I didn't bother to look at the instructions. Solid Construction! I like the fact that it extends a little beyond the rails as it leaves the ends to easily loop lines around. Drove for an hour the first day with them on and hardly noticed any difference in the wind noise at 70mph. Highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to buy again. 404263

These bars are noisey at highway speeds on our first iteration Volvo XC90. Main usage is simultaneous kayak and SUP/paddle board transport. A little flimsy under the weight of both but never caused a real worry. I would recommend them for the price even considering the above. Easy installation and they lock which is a plus. 549485
