Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the WeatherTech Rain Guards. These are gonna be great for just kind of keeping the heat a little lower in your vehicle so you can kind of crack your windows and just allow a little bit of air flow without having a direct path into your vehicle. This kit's gonna come with both the driver and passenger side front windshield. So if you do want to do it for all of the different vehicles, just use our fit guide. It's gonna give you the list of them. You can either buy them just the front and just the back, or you can buy them all as a kit.
WeatherTech is gonna provide a little bit thicker rain guard compared to some of the other ones. I actually took off my OEM ones, which as you can see, very, very thin, very flimsy, and they started to crack over time. So these aren't gonna crack near as quickly as these did. Also a nice thing about these compared to the OEM ones, as you can see, all that glue and stuff. So these actually sat up top.
So it wasn't as near as aerodynamic as the WeatherTech. So this is gonna bring my wind noise down a lot, and it is very low profile. So you can see the difference between the one that goes on the inside of the little channel compared to the one right behind you, which is on the outside like I was talking about before. I like the look of the WeatherTechs better, and this is not as efficient when it comes to aerodynamics. So we're getting the same amount of benefit as the OEM ones.
We just get a better looking one. It's a nice dark tint, a little bit darker than these right here. And, overall, it's gonna add to the look of my car, which is kind of what I was going for. All of them install the same exact way, both the driver and the passenger side. So if you wanna see how quick the process is, stick around.
We wanna start with the front. So just make sure you have the right side. And this is gonna go in the channel that the window goes in. So roll up your window, see the little slot where it goes in, and that's where this is gonna be. So what we wanna do is start with the front. Get it kinda into that slot the best we can, like this. And then we're gonna have to slowly kind of bend this to get it up into place. We'll be kinda gentle with it, kind of lean it down, that seems to help a little bit, kind of go up like this. They say to leave a gap right here, once it kind of gets into place, then you wanna go into the driver's side and we're just gonna kind of roll it up, but we're gonna do it really, really slowly just to make sure that nothing really bad happens. So just roll up your window. You can see how it's kind of pushing out. All right. All right, so now it's at least bypassing the window. So now I have to do that a couple of different times. We wanna kind of hopefully take out that gap a little bit. Just by coming over, just pushing up a little bit like that. And then we're just kind of gonna go ahead and put it up and put it down about five different times, nice and slow. And five. So we're pretty much good there. Once that's done, you can do that same exact process on the other side. And that'll do it for our look at the WeatherTech Rain Guards..

Let fresh air in while keeping bad weather out. These heavily tinted rain guards keep your interior dry, reduce wind noise, and help to keep temperatures down by promoting better air circulation in your vehicle. They work great, my only gripe is the rear deflectors are purely aesthetic, their not the ones that go around the top of the rear window, the sea mount on the window and open with the window, but overall they fronts work as they need to, easy install,
Easy to install and looks great! Looks just like the pictures on e-trailer's website.

Here's a 1 year review for you. 8 months after installing and thousands of highway miles later, One of mine fell off a block away from my house. Promptly was ran over my the car behind me, sending it into a million pieces. Neither etrailer or weathertech wanted to help with warrenty or even let me buy just 1. For my chevy van the internet agrees these don't fit great so go with another brand.

Don't look to close. I think that products coming from a company that prides itself on custom fit, the fit would be better. The reveal along the top is very uneven. Instructions say to roll window up very slowly, right, power windows. First time up, crack, :( . Luckily the cracked piece is small and hidden.

I have owned Weathertech products for a number of years and been a big fan. However, this particular set of rain guards, and stated by others are loose fitting. After a year of use, I had one fly off driving down the road and another slide out of position but luckily we were able to save that one. Only remedy is to spend more money and replace the missing one in a set. Probably will look for another brand from now on.

Had this for a year now. Hasn’t faded yet as I live in central Texas and the sun blasts 100 degree days or weeks at a time. Hasn’t shown anything deteriorating as of now. Keeps the rain out when it ever does decide to rain here. Installation was effortless and straightforward. The only minor small complaint I have is at first the window wouldn’t roll up all the way and you’d have to push the reflector out the way to close it but that’s not an issue anymore. It also sounds like the window is cracked open by hearing that whoosh sound when driving but there hasn’t been any leaks especially when driving through a car wash. Product looks good and is a low profile fitment so it doesn’t stick out like others I’ve seen. Definitely a good investment.

These vents are as good as it gets. No kidding, it took me less than 10 minutes to install all 4 of them, they fit perfectly and work well . Minimal wind noise , even at
85 + mph. In a word. .... OUTSTANDING!

Thank you for the video on installation, it really helped clear up questions after reading the provided instructions. My instructions specify 3 inches and not 4 for the back window clips, but otherwise they were just what I needed.

First time installing this type with no adhesive, instructions a bit vague, but I figured it out, they work great.

super easy installation. great fit.

My guards came broken, but thankfully WeatherTech replaced them directly. The only other issue I have with them is one of my windows catches on it every time and I have to risk my finger pushing out the plastic so the window will go all the way up. It is Great for keeping out the rain while airing out the car.

Only reason I give 4 stars is that when I carefully removed the adhesive backing, most of the sticky tape came off as well. I had the same problem with an identical set purchased in 2016, but it never was a problem with the rear deflectors coming off. Weathertech needs to use a better tape or at least provide extra tape with the product. Maybe even have the installer apply the tape. My guess is if the product is stored a long time before installation, the tape deteriorates.

Best rain guards you can purchase. I cant believe people pay 50k to 100k for a truck and add the ungly stick on window rain guards. With these, the blend right into to truck
