Hey guys. Today we have a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. We're going to take a look at and show you how to install these Weathertech Side Window air Deflectors for the rear, and you can pick these up if you already have the front deflectors, but if you want both, they do come in a kit, just see etrailer.com. Now these deflectors are going to do a great job of having a low profile look when they're installed. Doesn't add too much to your vehicle and still going to be aerodynamic. It's going allow you to roll down your windows down to the bottom of of the deflector right there so it'll let interior air to escape while also getting fresh air in and really cutting down on that wind noise as the air deflects over the deflector.
It's going to have a nice durable acrylic construction, ao any road debris or anything like that that flies up and may hit your deflector, it's going to hold up to those impacts and all four seasons. Now we have a dark tinting installed on our Caravan right now. That's handy for if you have tinting on your Caravan all ready. So when you roll your window down, no extra sun is going to get in. But if you don't care for the tinting, you can get them in the lighter tint. Just see each etrailer.com.Now we have the passenger, driver's side rear deflectors on our table.
I'll show you how easy they are to get installed. Now before installing your rear deflectors, we want to make sure you remove this little yellow tape right here. That's kind of protecting the adhesive that helps your deflectors stay up and in the window. But for demonstration purposes we're going to leave that step out. Now you want to make sure that you install the front of it first with this rounded edge right here.
The other side is going to have this cut out edge, but you want the rounded edge still up towards the front of the van. So we just put that up in the corner and want to bring this side down to where it can fit into the track. And then we're just gonna push it up so we can get all sides of it in and make sure you push up on all of it.And then we're going to roll up the window about five times, making sure we get the delector to fit in there. When it gets up towards the top, we'll just pull up on the deflector a bit so it can squeeze itself in there. Once it does that, you're going to unroll it and then repeat this process four more times.
Now once you've repeated this process for the other side, you're ready to hit the road. And that'll do it for our look on our Weathertech Side Window air Deflectors for the rear on our 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan.

I have used Weathertech Rain Guards for several years on a number different cars. They are high quality, easy to install and hold up extremely well that's why I keep buying them. A little more expensive but substantily better then the car store brands!

This is a great product but I had to make a few mods to it to make it work for my car. I've got a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. The little front stop bracket pieces made it difficult for the front window deflectors stay in place so I removed them to see how it'd fit and it still wouldn't sit right. The little non-slip bits of tape melted right off after 1 hot day and the deflector would eventually slip out after a couple of window rolls. So I got some double-sided gorilla tape and placed it just on the front diagonal side to hold it in place so it wouldn't slip. I then used a new, sharp razor blade to bevel cut the tape so it would slide in without rolling over on itself. I didn't put the little bracket in because it sat fine without interfering with the window path. Since it's still hot out I let the tape bake into the the window channel with the windows closed for 2 days. Haven't had a problem since.

I bought just the fronts for my silver 2nd gen CRV which was nice. Install was easy as you just flex them abit and install in the window channels. First few widow "ups" would trip the safety and send them back down. Helped keep the car cool but ended up getting the rears and that helped more. I normally lower the widows ~1/2 the vent depth and only some blowing snow has entered. Can rip the highway with window lowered some without the usual buffering and noise. Only home wash all my cars so don't know how they would stand up to gas station washers. Lower profile, nicer look and no big lip as on the peel and stick type.

Don't look to close. I think that products coming from a company that prides itself on custom fit, the fit would be better. The reveal along the top is very uneven. Instructions say to roll window up very slowly, right, power windows. First time up, crack, :( . Luckily the cracked piece is small and hidden.

Easy to install, I never cared for the double tape style. These are functionally better and look better in my opinion. 2020 tundra, I did only receive the fronts but like always etrailer are shipping the rears out ASAP. Great company and great customer service

These side window air deflectors look like they came with the car. That's the way I wanted it! I'm very pleased with this product's high quality and ease of installing. The instructions are very clear (even covering the possible problem of safety devices interfering with the operation of the window itself, which I had, and easily corrected the issue). The instructions are clear, and I recommend reading them FIRST to prevent damage*. I cleaned the window edges and the window seals that would contact the deflectors with alcohol. *The only deviation I had with my particular installation was lowering the window all the way down (instead of half way in the instructions) to be able to slide the deflector up into the channel without bending the deflector. This was an obvious deviation. The delivery time was outstanding. I highly recommend this product, and highly recommend "etrailer" for the purchase!

This is the fifth vehicle I have installed WeatherTech Side Window Air Deflectors. I don't know if it is the 2017 Prius design or the subtle improvements WeatherTech has made in their Side Window Air deflectors but this pair of front Air Deflectors is the quietest I have had. The installation is straightforward and simple. In five minutes or less, the Air Deflectors are in place. A couple of minutes after that and all the window raising and lowering to set the deflectors is done. After that, you just reap the benefits. The new Prius benefits from even the slight shading on the lightly tinted model as the windows rise quite a bit and the sunshades are too small to block sunlight coming in from the sides.

I put my 1996 Geo Tracker on the "My Vehicle" section and then I looked for window rain guards. I dont know if it will fit my car because I had to cover the car up just before we got the snowstorm. I will find out in the spring, and I am hoping they do, because I did not get a paper to return if needed to.

These vents are as good as it gets. No kidding, it took me less than 10 minutes to install all 4 of them, they fit perfectly and work well . Minimal wind noise , even at 85 + mph. In a word. .... OUTSTANDING!

Love how these don’t have double sided 3m tape they fit perfect which is great because i don’t really like 3m tape if there doesn’t have to be. Was kinda hard to put in because I was scared of flexing it to much to where it would snap but it didn’t they can flex and it does fit perfect. I plan on using these for when it’s raining so I can have my window cracked open to let fresh air in. It did take awhile to get here but I was always up to date on my order and even got a follow up email after they were delivered.

Very high quality plastic. The lighter smoke tint was the right choice for me. The fronts were so easy to install, I did it in the dark of night without a flashlight. The rears were difficult to install in the light of day. Took multiple tries as the clips kept popping out. I scratched up the window trim in three different places. The sound with the windows down is now louder, though I feel it less. Seems to suck out cigarette smoke better. Summer monsoons will put these to the test, coming soon. Not sure if these are QUITE worth the price. Maybe $10 cheaper.. Overall happy. High quality, solid, no rattles at 70mph. Sleek looking, though shipping caused some slight surface wear that won't go away after wiping with glass cleaner. Would buy again, and recommend.

Really happy with these. Easy to install. It takes getting used to seeing through them when looking out side windows though.

They work well. They look great. I'm only giving them 4 stars because one of them cracked while installing them. The piece that cracked is hidden and does not appear to affect the performance of the rain guard.

WeatherTech make great products. The window air deflectors or fantastic. Easy and fast to install. They look and work great on my truck. I love to leave my windows crack in the hot summer and not worry about it raining inside my truck. I also had great service with etrailer.com fast shipping at great price. I have had these on my truck for a year and still look great with no problems.

I'm giving this feedback for etrailer, their customer support and service person Tammy was great and took care of my needs (returns, pricing) quickly. I will say I'm not sure I'll buy WeatherTech window vents again for GMC trucks again. The rear vents are very difficult to install, the edges chip easy and I'm on my second rear vent and found it coming off as well. Not the installer, I've done too many of these, WT seems to be decreasing in quality.

The buying process through etrailer was so simple and easy, and I received all my products within a few days. Everything fit to the exact specifications and nothing came damaged in the box. I will definitely be doing more business in the future with etrailer.

The deflectors themselves work great. I had them on my previous 2007 Dodge Mega Cab, and the driver's side rear one blew off. I put a set on my 2011 Dodge 3500, and the driver's side rear one blew off. Sent an email to WeatherTech about getting just one deflector instead of having to by a whole set. Never got a response. Dealing with etrailer was great.
