Today, we're going to take a look at the heavy duty aluminum adjustable height folding platform step. Has a 1,000 pound weight capacity. Now this step stool will give you that extra height you need to get to those hard to reach areas. So it is perfect for use as a starter step when entering or leaving your RV. It is a lightweight die cast aluminum construction, which is rust resistance.On the very top here it has some non slip tape on it. On the very bottom of the leg, we do use rubber feet to help prevent the platform from slipping.
And the legs do fold in for easy transport and storage. In other words, if you just push a button on each leg right here, that'll release it and allow you to close the legs to fold them in. And once they're all folded in, notice they do have handles on each end for carrying this step around, transporting it. And it is very thin for storage.These adjustable legs have two highest positions, with them folded in, the folded in legs will give you an overall height of 3-1/8 inches tall. And then if we go ahead and pull the legs out and take a measurement, with the legs out, the overall height is going to be right at 8-1/8 inches tall.
The dimensions of just the platform, it's going to be length of 19 inches long, going to be a width of 14 inches wide. We mentioned the weight capacity on this is going to be 1000 pounds, and the weight of it is only eight pounds.But then again, if you need to fold in the legs, just pushed the button on the side, the legs easily fold in and hold into place. Bought this to make it easier for my Sheltie to enter and exit my Little Guy Mini Max trailer. It was expensive, but I have had to adjust the legs separately at some campsites. It is very well made and suits my purpose. Other similar stools were cheaper, but I'm completely satisfied with this one. [Wish I could find a taller stool just like it (14-16" high) so I could dispense with the pull-out step on my trailer entirely.] FYI, I put a bicycle lock on it when in use so it doesn't 'walk off' when I'm camping.

Great product. This stool is even better than the previous model (which we inadvertently ran over). Well made, very sturdy yet light enough in weight to lift by the handle with one hand. Legs fold in for stool to lay flat in our van. Would definitely recommend this product.

Very sturdy step I use it quite often so my mother can get in and out of the truck I just keep it in the back when needed I just pull it out and she can easily use it to step up into my truck like I said very sturdy very satisfied!

We looked for quite a while before purchasing a step. We have had such a good experience with etrailer that we pretty much get all of our products from them. Customer service is AMAZING when needed (which is mostly for recommendations on which product to choose!
We have been using a very flimsy plastic step when needed below our RV and finally made this purchase. We have been prioritizing made in the USA products, and this step is made in Michigan. Good ole USA!
It is very sturdy, just the right dimensions, easily expanded and folded up, and the mechanisms are intuitive. It has a good weight to it and i like that it has cut outs to use as built in handles.
There was no need to read instructions (although we did). It came with reflective tape to add to the edges of the step if we wanted to. We did, so that at night it would be more easily seen.
I like that the rubber tips on the legs are not the "sock" type. I heard that the legs can wear through the rubber, therefore, the company modified it. Sounds like they are continually taking feedback and making improvements.
The pics look like this is white, it is not. It is a graphite color. We really like the powder coating and stability. Would highly recommend

Super easy to adjust for uneven terrain, very sturdy, does not slip out of position even when transporting it in my trailer feet down, large platform allows for secure footing albeit while wearing regular shoes/boots and or motocross boots. Lightweight, and easy to clean. I highly recommend this step.

The Adjustable-Height, Folding Aluminum Platform Step is extremely well built giving it the sturdiness needed for a safe transition from my folding steps to the ground which is sometimes gravel or uneven terrain. The adjustable heights of 3" or 8" is ideal for the various campsite terrains encountered in our travels in North America.

We love this RV step. It works great for the height of our steps to the RV. Also we added a bristled rug to the top of it with zip ties. Now we can clean our shoes as we enter the RV. Thanks for a great step etrailer.

I like the way this is made and think it is going to work out well. It is light weight and will be great for taking horse camping. Will help me reach the vent in the trailer and also work great for a mounting block and putting up a high line.

I bought this to help me get into my truck. I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel and I could never afford the rails/steps along the bottom of the truck. This was a simpler less expensive option. It's big enough I can stand on it with both feet and still have room for my oxygen tank. Makes it so much easier to get me and the big tank in the truck. I did originally have one of those little fold up plastic step stools which collapsed while I was on it. Awful experience. Now I feel safe. This stool is secure even on uneven ground. I live out in the sticks and there is a lot of uneven, unpaved ground around here.

I do not own an RV or camper but use this for chores around my house. It is the perfect solution for a small step as well as a seat when working on my motorcycle at a low height. It is lightweight and folds up nicely and even stands upright when folded. When sitting on it, I put a small cushion pad on top to make it comfortable. I am sure it is great for use with an RV but I strongly recommend it for household use and general chores as it has proven very useful.

I was a little surprised how light the platform is when I took it out of the box. It seems to be a very good quality build and very simple to open and close. The anti-slip surface has a great secure feel to it even when it's wet. I'm actually using it as a step up into a full size van for passengers in the rear seats. The larger surface area provides a nice "landing area" for the foot when exiting the vehicle. My van is a little older and I can't mount side step running boards because of the condition of the mounting locations. The cost of the running boards was easily 7x as much and the surface area to step onto when exiting the van was less than desirable. Quite frankly it was a little scary. I am very satisfied with this product and the customer assistance from etrailer was five star in helping me decide on the proper platform by offering several different choices. Delivery time from time or order placement was lighting quick.

This is a heavy duty step however the legs fold up for storage which is nice but they don't lock in to folded position so they flop around if the unit is hung up. 2nd is when the legs are down they do have a pin that locks the legs in down position but the pin that does the locking is to small for the hole so the legs can and do move when stepping on it. I am not returning this because of the hassle, shipping expense and I tossed the box. No.. I would not recommend this step.
