Aluminum fold-down steps with 13" deep top step attach to the threshold of your RV. Designed to fit in doorways 30" wide. Industry standard 8" drop/rise between steps. Adjustable legs keep the steps level and reduce bounce.Love the steps, I'm 82 and these steps makes it so much easier for me to get in and out of my camper. The only problem was it took sets, since I had to return the first ones because the box was torn open and the installation hardware was missing. erailer was all over it and the second set right away.
Steps were easy to install. The wide step at the top makes it a lot safer to exit our rv and the stability of no flexing as you go up or down the steps is great.
Love these steps!!! They were easy to install and took about an hour. I watched a video on how to install them on etrailers site and it went smooth. These steps are so much more stable and my wife really likes them. Bought from her as she has knee issues.
Finally able to obtain the proper sized steps for my camper. read the six ng instructions from Lippert, not the website. Or you may order the incorrect steps.
Install was easy for my camper. One must realize that RVs have varying tolerances. So I had to make some adjustments.
We wanted and sought the Lippert Solid Step because of the large top step. That makes these steps stand out from similar offerings.
Fast shipping!! Not a single travel trailer or 5th wheel made should be without these steps! Period!!!!! It puzzles me why the manufacturers don’t put these on as factory equipment. The just make the trailer more stable entering and existing and a better quality feel for the entire trailer. Thanks
I love these steps. They are a huge improvement over factory-installed steps.
Fellow campers are always asking where I got them. Easy to install and easy to use.
These steps look and fit well. Very easy installation. Rick was a great help in getting the correct steps. I highly recommend this product and e trailer as their source.
so very impressed with this item and the shipping time from ETrailer. We received the order in 2 days and had the item installed within 15 mins. Thanks for acting so quickly on my order!
Donna was very helpful and had good knowledge of the items we talked about.Product shipped next day received it in three days. Installed e by one person, very stable. If you are thinking about a new step buy Lipert top stair is 13 in. makes a lot easier.
Needs improved packaging. Miracle nothing was lost out of the box. Box was damaged and fasteners were loose in box. Everything went together with no problems.
Very nice steps, well made and easy to install. Shipping was fast. I called in to make sure which steps I needed and they were very helpful.
Great steps and istallation was very si mple

If you want a 'solid step', this is a solid buy. 10/10 for sure!
I installed these in my '22 Winnebago 2225RL. The step and installation are super simple. Including taking out my old steps, it took me 30-40 minutes total including adjusting the locking mechanism.
The installation instructions are really easy to follow. I didn't have to remove my old threshold, but that is not true for everyone. So check this first before you go drilling into anything. I attached some pictures to give a before and after view.
The installation went like this for me...Make sure you're rig is level. Make sure the hinge is folded closed before starting. Lay your steps out, center it in the door, and adjust the feet accordingly. Test your door! Test it several times to make sure nothing is going to bind and that you have clearance in all the right places.
You'll see one hole on either side of the Solid Step black threshold that allows you to drill and screw in your first two connections. Once those are complete, fold up your steps and adjust your locking mechanism so that it closes and latches correctly. After you've got everything working the way you want, install the remaining screws or bolts (based on your type of floor) and secure it all down. Enjoy your new steps!

Lippert is better at making steps than they are at packaging them. Would buy again and will recommend. Chose Lippert over the competitor because of the larger top step and happy I did. Shop etrailer with confidence. Fast and accurate. Thanks etrailer team

The box that it was in was torn all up, the steps has a few dings in them. Not enough to send it back, but it could have been prevented. It took me all of an hour to install and that includes grinding the 1/8 inch lip off of the threshold to make the screen door shut better. This is a huge improvement over the factory steps. Highly recommend them.

Sturdy. Easy to install and use. Would have given 5 stars except one of the door frame storage brackets needed a fair amount of bending to make it the correct 90 deg.

I ordered LC791574 Had a bent frame on left leg.probably shipping and bent bracket for storage.

First I didn’t understand why it took 8 days before the “in stock” product was shipped. 13 days after I placed my order I received my steps. I first noticed the top of the stringers were bent on both sides. (Really poor packaging by Lippart) Well I’ll live with that so started to install them. The threshold of the steps was severely warped due to the hinge being welded on. (Poor fabrication practices) I knew I would have to trim my screen door. But I never put the first fastener in (per instructions) BC the warped threshold wouldn’t allow for my main door to close.
The warp is more than 3/8 of an inch which is a severe bow imo.
Gonna call etrailer now and see what direction to travel now. And freight companies handle freight really rough these days.

Received the Lippert travel trailer steps in 4 days and installed in less than 4 hours easy installation and we love them. Ashley at extension 79333 was a pleasure to work with. Thanks etrailer and Ashley and keep up the good work.

These steps are great! I had to order a new set of steps due to damage during a camping trip. etrailer sent it, UPS managed to destroy it up before it was delivered. Back went the UPS damaged unit. A whole new unit was quickly sent to replace that one. And UPS managed to mangle the box of the replacement. The contents were fine though. Thanks etrailer for great customer service even though it was UPS's fault.

Positives: This was a simple installation. The hardest part was removing the old steps-took 2 of us (and a few grunts!). I filed off the inner lip on the threshold and removed the transition strip to make things as level as possible prior to installation. It took about 3/4 hour to finish install after that. Great product, (first in-field use will be Thursday 10/8/20).
Negatives: The shipping carton was trashed and loose parts were strewn throughout. I didn't receive the 4" #10 machine screws, washers, and lock nuts, so I used the wood screws but I'm pretty sure I'll need to through bolt the assembly to the trailer in the future. LCI - replacements please? Also, ordered clevis pins with bimini rings for easier support strut length adjustment.
Overall: Very Positive Upgrade-Easy & Useful. I would recommend to anyone who wants a better steps than the OEM.

There are a few upgrades I have made to my camper that I sit back and think "why did I wait so long to do this?" This would be one of them. The stability and comfort of walking up these steps is incomparable to the factory steps. The ease of installation made this a no brainer. Why did I wait so long to replace the factory steps?

The steps work very well on my Montana 3665 RE fifth wheel. Had to do some modification on the internal step, but with that done the steps fit and function fine. Should solve my problem of hitting the low hung factory folding stairs.
Crushed them twice, only 6 inches of clearance from road. Now have 24 inches of clearance from road.

Good and solid!! So much better than the stock spring board… but it’s not perfect. With this design you may have clearance issues deploying them and whatever is on the steps (dirt, water) when you put them up it ends up on the floor. Worth it for us.

Steps are excellent. I'm an older guy so sure footing is important for me. You get no bounce when you step on the Solidstep unit. The installation was a breeze. We keep a welcome mat just inside the door so when the Solidstep is folded up leaves or water drops on the mat. Also the stop step is wider giving me added protection against falling or missing the step when coming out of the trailer. The stair skid proof treads gives sure footing even in the rain. We Love this upgrade as mush as anything we have done to our travel trailer. Thank you Solidstep and etrailer.com
