Replaces the electric steps, motor, and control unit for your Kwikee Revolution series RV step. Motor and control unit automatically extend and retract the steps when you open and close the door. Wiring pigtail hardwires to your RV's power.
Features:
Specs:
Note: This step assembly includes the steps, motor, and control unit only. The steps will operate automatically, extending when the RV door opens and retracting when the door closes.
If you want the complete step assembly that also allows you to override the automatic retraction so the steps stay out whether the door is open or closed, you will need a switch kit (sold separately).
The Kwikee steps include several safety features in an effort to prevent injury to you or your passengers and damage to the RV steps. If an obstruction is detected while extending, the steps will halt and retract back into the stowed position. The steps will also retract when you turn on the vehicles ignition, even if the automatic retraction override has been activated, in case you forget to stow them before driving away.
Will Kwikee Electric Steps Work for You?
Electric steps are typically installed on RVs and some travel trailers. The electric steps from Kwikee install and fold up underneath the camper for simple storage. To ensure you choose the correct size for your application, there are a few measurements you will need to take.
The Kwikee electric steps attach to the underside of the camper chassis, directly beneath the doorway. To decide which size you'll need, locate the space available underneath your camper that lines up with the doorframe, and measure the width and depth. You will need a mounting space that is at least 25-1/2" wide and 11-1/8" deep.
If it turns out you have more or less space beneath your doorway, there are other step assemblies available with bracket sizes ranging from 24-3/4" wide to 37-1/4" wide. A full list of the available steps is below.
Outriggers - metal brackets that act as an extension (LC301704 - sold separately) - may be needed for installation depending on the model of your original stairs. These provide extra length if the old steps are longer or wider than the new.
Once you know where the mounting bracket will go and what size mounting bracket you need, that spot will be used as the "mounting point" to determine how many steps you will need.
How Many Steps Do You Need?
To decide on how many steps you'll need, measure from the mounting point to the ground. This is called the entry height. The entry height should roughly match the height of the steps when they're fully extended, plus 6" to 8" to account for the drop from the bottom step to the ground. This measurement will also tell you how many steps you need.
The chart below displays mounting bracket widths in the first column and entry height measurements in the second column. The third column shows the corresponding part numbers. Use the mounting bracket width and entry height measurements you took to determine which part number will fit your RV. Choose the bracket size that is closest to your measurements without going over.
This page's step assembly is in bold text.

Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a brief look at the Kwikee Revolution Steps. These are a replacement for existing steps that you had on your RV, maybe they've gotten damaged, worn out, rested, shut, whatever the case might be. This is going to get those replaced for you. So you can have a nice, shiny brand new set of steps. So this comes with the step frame and the control unit, the light and the motor already installed.
So you really don't have to do much other than actually just attach these to your RV. So pretty straightforward as far as that install. It does come with the wiring already attached as well that comes off of that control unit. So you'll have your ground connection and then the plug for that four wire harness. And if you don't have that four wire harness, you can pick it up separately here at etrailer.com, the part number for that is listed on the product page for this step.
So you can find that guide. Also, these do have the automatic. They'll come out automatically whenever you open the door and then come back in automatically when you close the door, as long as you have the sensor, the door sensor in your RV. It's pretty common nowadays for RVs to have that and the override switch. But if those are not installed in your RV, you can also get that sold separately here at etrailer.com and again, that part number is listed on the page. But as far as the other features with this again, steps will come out when you open the door and close when you close the door.
But if you want to have them out all the time, you can use that override switch to override that function, to keep them out. So you can run up and down the steps, close the door and not having to wait for them to open and close every time when you're at the campsite. So it saves you a little bit of time. There's also a safety feature so that whenever you turn on the ignition, it will sense that and if the steps are still deployed out, it will automatically bring them in. So you don't have to worry about those steps being out whenever you're actually on the road. So saves you from damage that way.
Also, if the steps come out and they happen to hit something solid like pylon or fire hydrant or anything else, they will stop. And then come back in rather than just trying to push through that object and wear out the motor. So another safety feature as well. Again, it does have a little light here to help shine a little bit of light on the steps. It's not super bright, but a little bit can help. So that is something that is a feature on these steps. As far as whether or not these are going to fit for your RV. Typically the easiest way to figure out what step you had before is to look on the side plate or if it had a top bracket, you can look underneath that and there should be a manufacturer sticker. And that will tell you what series or steps type you had from quickie. If that sticker's gone, or you're not sure how to find it, I'll give you the measurements to make sure that this is a match for your RV. So let's go into those measurements now.As far as the extended heights, so that's going to be the distance from the top of the attachment brackets to the bottom most portion of the step when they're expanded, like you see them here that is 14 and a half inches. Whenever it's folded up and ready to travel that height again from the top to the bottom, most portion is eight inches. The overall width from the outermost portion of the steps that's 25 and a half inch. And that's going from these flanders up here that you mount it to. And the bolt pattern for that is 24 and five eights across and eight and three quarter inches front to back. Now, there are a couple other holes that you could use if that matches up with what you had before in your RV. But that main bolt pattern is going to go from the front most hole to the rear most hole. And that's the same on both sides. The step size itself is 23 and three eights inches by eight inches. All in all really nice reliable step. These do come as OEM equipment for most RVs these days. It's got that non-slip tread on the steps also that high visibility yellow to make it a little easier to see even in low light conditions. And then again, that light should help a little bit as well.If you want to see some more measurements, we have a couple more listed on our page as well as all the specs for the steps, so you can see that there. The hardware for this is not included. So you will need to reuse that attachment hardware and again, the switch pack and that four way wiring harness are sold separately. But again, both those part numbers are listed on the product page if you need to get that equipment. That's pretty much it as far as our look at the replacement step, motor and control for your Kwikee Revolution Steps. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is the right step for you. We do have a lot of other options available though here at etrailer.com, along with a ton of other accessories for your RVs in general. So check them out. Thanks for watching.

Identical replacement, works well in my 2012 Winnebago Via 25R. Easy one-man installation (with a jack to secure the old one coming out and the new one going in). 714371

Great & very fast shipping. Perfect replacement for original 577952
This Revolution Midi Miki 2 step matched exactly what I replaced. I used a car jack and a piece of 4x4 scrap to hold it in place. My wife helped with the jack, allowing me to use both hands for positioning. Not a hard replacement WITH A GOOD HELPER. Customer service was very good. They nailed what I needed. Thanks. 561034

Correct replacement product at a very competitive price 489466
The Lippert Kwikee Revolution steps that I purchased replaced the same steps that had failed on our Winnebago Coach after five years of service. I would give the steps 5 stars except that I had to match drill the new steps to the existing mounting studs under the coach as they were fractionally different which did not allow the step frame to mount to the coach. Otherwise, the instructions were clear and concise and the steps activated perfectly when electrically connected. Kudos to Anna at etrailer for her capable and friendly assistance in completing the sale. 454392
