Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're taking a look at the RV Day/Night Shade Hold Down. So these are going to be some just little cords or little pieces to hold down your shade cords. So whenever it comes time to draw the curtains at night or draw the curtains at the beginning of the day, you can have a place to wind up that cord and make it easy to stow these away. I'll give you some measurements, just to be sure that these are going to be the right ones for you. So the outer diameter there looks like it's just under three quarters of an inch, maybe about five eighths of an inch for that outer rim.
That little inner spool looks like it's about a quarter of an inch and that's going to be the same for both of these. The width is just about half an inch. And then we do get the two screws to mount these in place. Those each measure about an inch and a half long and about an eighth of an inch wide.They do just need a Phillips Head Screwdriver to get those in place. So it should be a pretty easy install.
It is covered by a limited lifetime warranty from JR products and made in the USA. And that's going to do it for our look at the RV Day/Night Shade Hold Downs. I hope this video has been helpful. Thanks for watching.

I needed to replace a bunch of these in my 18 year-old trailer because over time, they got brittle and cracked. These are an exact replacement, and look to be fairly good quality. Of course, etrailer got them right out to me cheaper than any other retailer I could find.
The Day/Night Shades in our camper used a different cord retainer which broke on 3 of our shades. I ordered theses as replacements and found they were very easy to use and adjust the tension on the cords.
Excellent for replacing OEM parts. The existing hold downs did not have the flange at the bottom and tend to bend, this product provides extra support.
They are a great replacement when you have some that are old and worn out.
I have ordered from etrailer several times, item are as advertised and quick delivery.
haven't installed yet but they are what I ordered and arrived quickly. Never been disappointed with etrailer product, price or delivery time.

THEY WORKED OUT GREAT! MOST PLASTIC STUFF IN MY RV IS NEEDING REPLACING AT THIS POINT AND THESE ARE NOW ON MY TODO LIST!
They look like will work great but haven't had a chance to put them on
Fit perfect on our 2015 Jayco Grayhawk. Reasonable price and quick deliver. Actually arrived earlier than we thought. Hopefully, we will not need any more parts but if we do, this is the place to get them..
