Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR products window knob. This is going to replace your worn out or broken knob on your RV window or vent, so you can open it up, get some nice cool air on those nice days, or close it up tight if there's a storm blowing in or something. Whatever the case may be, it's going to allow you to use your window and vents. It does work with the half inch shaft on your windows and vents, so you want to make sure that this is the right piece for you. It's going to have a total diameter of about two and a quarter inches.
Now keep in mind that is the outer diameter here. As you can see, we do have these indentations here that's going to make it easier to grab hold of with our fingers, but the widest part is about two and a quarter inches.It is about 13/16" thick, or just under seven-eights inch thick. You're going to have a clearance of right about a quarter of an inch from the bottom of your head to the end of your shaft here. Now I did measure the shaft earlier with digital calipers. The outer diameter is 0.4 three inches, or just under seven 16 of an inch.
The inner diameter is 0.3 inches. So it's going to be just shy of nine 16 of an inch. This kit does include the knob and the replacement screw.The replacement screw is seven-eights of an inch. It's an eight 32 rounded head machine screw. And as you can see this kit is our black knob option.
White would be better for the interior of your RV. We also have a white option. It's got the same dimensions made out of the same materials. It's going to be the exact same, except it's white. You can find that here using part number three seven two two zero three five five.

A year sitting in the sun and still looking good. A great easy on/easy off way to protect the tires.
The window knob was the exact part, and was delivered quickly. The screw that came with it was for a 1” shaft, not the 1/2” shaft that the knob was. Not really a problem for me as I had the screw from the old knob. Other than that oversight, an excellent company to do business with.
