Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at this recessed mount RV city water inlet with plastic check valve. Now, this black plastic valve with this plastic flange replaces the leaking city water check valve on your RV. This easy grip knob is going to let you easily attach and detach your hose. And the plastic valve is durable and it's not going to contaminate your incoming water.
This also has a tethered rubber cap. So, that's gonna protect your connection point when it is not in use, and it is a nice and secure, tight fit, so you're not gonna have to worry about that popping off. Now, this recessed mount plastic flange is going to be durable. It's gonna be UV resistant and it's going to be corrosion proof. The fitting size is half inch male pipe thread.
And that flange is going to fit a 3 1/2 inch diameter cut-out. And the outer diameter of this flange is 4 3/4 inches across. And the flange depth is gonna be right at 3/4 of an inch. And then the distance between the mounting holes is going to be, find that other hole, there we go, is gonna be 3 1/2 inches. And then the mounting hole diameter is gonna be 3/16 of an inch.
And then the valve depth is gonna be sitting, turn around this way, and just get it as close as I can with this flange. Gonna be sitting, sitting right at about three inches, that valve depth. Was plastic not brass as I wanted but will do.
